----------

With Budo's death, the morale of the Imperial Guards instantly collapsed, and many soldiers directly chose to surrender.

Of course, some still stubbornly resisted.

Esdeath showed no hesitation whatsoever and immediately ordered the execution of everyone who refused to surrender.

"Kaito-sama, General Esdeath has annihilated the Imperial Guards and is preparing to advance on the Imperial Palace."

While Kaito leisurely sat in a chair eating ice cream, a soldier ran over, respectfully knelt on one knee, and delivered his report.

"I know. You may rise."

"Yes!"

After hearing Kaito's lazy response, the soldier quickly stood back up.

"Let's go."

"I'll take you all to meet the greatest evil in this Empire, that fat pig Honest."

Kaito swallowed the remaining ice cream in one bite, shivered from the cold, then spoke to the Night Raid members standing nearby.

"That's great. It's finally ending!"

"I'm definitely stabbing Honest a few times! The entire country became like this because of him!"

"This time he's fallen right into our hands..."

Hearing Kaito's words, the members of Night Raid all revealed excited expressions as they enthusiastically discussed how they planned to deal with Honest later.

Only Akame seemed distracted, as though something else was on her mind.

Noticing Akame's unusual expression, a sly smile immediately appeared on Kaito's face.

...

"Is this the place?"

Ace and the others looked exhausted as they stared at the camp below them.

"It should be."

"Sigh... I warned you all long ago that Kaito-sama is petty, but nobody listened. Now look what happened."

The Goblin who had accompanied Ace and the others earlier sighed gloomily as he spoke.

"Sigh..." *3

After hearing the Goblin's words, everyone else also sighed helplessly.

"Alright, let's hurry and find her."

"Didn't Kaito-sama give us a portrait? Take it out and check again."

Rob Lucci sighed before speaking.

"Let me see..."

"This... this thing... I finally understand who drew those abstract paintings before."

"That hateful Kaito-sama!!!"

Ace stared at the portrait in his hand with complete disbelief.

The drawing looked even more abstract than something a child would scribble.

Calling it a stick figure would honestly be giving it too much credit.

So in the end, it was basically just a name again, wasn't it?

"Um... didn't Ramiris-sama already explain everything before?"

"Were you guys not listening carefully at all?"

Seeing their expressions, the Goblin cautiously asked in a low voice.

"Uh..."

"T-That's..."

"Alright, none of that matters right now."

"The important thing is finding this girl named Kurome first."

"I heard she's Akame's younger sister, so she should look pretty similar. Let's search based on that."

After speaking, Ace took the lead and descended toward the camp below, while everyone else quickly followed after him.

Some people might wonder how Kaito, a Golden Immortal-level powerhouse, could possibly draw something that awful.

The truth was simple.

Kaito was deliberately messing with them.

For a Golden Immortal, learning something like drawing was absurdly easy.

He was simply having fun teasing anime characters he liked from his previous life.

After all, wasn't that a form of entertainment too?

Meanwhile, while Ace and the others openly infiltrated the Imperial Assassination Unit's base, Kaito and the rest had already arrived outside the Imperial Palace gates.

The moment Kaito saw Honest and the young Emperor standing atop the palace walls, he immediately understood Honest's plan.

He intended to activate the Supreme Teigu.

"Esdeath! I never expected you to betray me!"

Honest roared furiously at Esdeath below, his face twisted in rage.

"Betray you?"

"You're not worthy of words like that."

"We were merely cooperating. Don't think too highly of yourself, Honest."

Esdeath looked at Honest with complete disdain as she answered.

"Damn it!"

"Your Majesty, we must let these rebels understand the consequences of defying the Empire!"

"You must display the dignity of a ruler!"

"As long as Your Majesty demonstrates your imperial authority, this meaningless rebellion can easily be crushed!"

Hearing Honest's words, the young Emperor beside him seriously nodded before slowly closing his eyes.

Moments later, violent tremors suddenly shook the entire Imperial Palace.

A deafening roar erupted from deep within the palace grounds.

Then an enormous figure slowly rose upward.

Higher and higher it climbed.

Soon, a colossal giant thousands of meters tall, towering into the clouds itself, appeared before everyone's eyes.

(Not Gundam!!!)

"W-What is that?!"

"The Empire actually had something like this hidden?!"

"This is bad..."

Kaito couldn't help twitching his mouth as he looked at the drastically changed expressions of the Night Raid members beside him.

Did these people seriously have so little confidence in the Jura Tempest Federation's strength?

It was just a giant robot.

Was there really any need to panic this much?

Just wait.

He'd show them something even bigger.

Thinking this, Kaito slightly narrowed his eyes.

In the next instant, his figure vanished and reappeared directly before the Supreme Teigu, [Shikoutazer], the Nation-Protecting Divine Machine.

"Kaito-sama, he...!"

"Kaito-sama, be careful!"

Hearing the worried cries from Night Raid, Sakuya, who stood nearby, lightly frowned before calmly speaking:

"There's no need to worry about Master."

"To him, this is merely a game."

"Just watch quietly."

For some reason, after hearing Sakuya's calm voice and seeing her narrowed eyes, the members of Night Raid unconsciously quieted down.

Still, they continued watching Kaito in the sky with nervous expressions.

"It really is pretty big..."

"But... [Heaven and Earth Transformation]!!!"

In an instant, Kaito's figure disappeared.

Replacing him was a colossal existence so enormous it seemed endless.

The sunlight itself became completely blocked by Kaito's gigantic body.

Across the entire world, countless people looked up at the suddenly pitch-black sky with horror.

Fortunately, Kaito was floating in the air.

If he had been standing on the ground, the entire Empire would've instantly turned into a giant footprint.

"Oh my god..."

"T-That's... Kaito-sama?!"

"So this is the strength of the leader of the Jura Tempest Federation...?"

"Has a god descended to punish humanity...?"

"Kami-sama..."

"Have the heavens finally descended to punish me for my sins...?"

Not only the people within the Imperial Capital stared at the darkened sky in despair.

Even Ace and the others, who had just captured Kurome, looked toward the pitch-black sky with terrified expressions.

"Holy crap! What happened?! Is this the end of the world?!"

"How would I know?!"

"Shouldn't we hurry and escape through the Dimensional Gate?!"

"This is the first time in my life I've actually thought you had a good idea, Ace!"

Rob Lucci swallowed hard before immediately nodding in agreement beside him.

Just as everyone frantically thought about how to survive, a sudden stream of information appeared directly inside their minds.

After receiving the information, all of them instantly let out relieved sighs.

"You scared me half to death. I seriously thought the world was ending."

"Why is Kaito-sama making things this ridiculous again?"

"Whew... well, as long as there's no danger, it's fine..."

Meanwhile, Kaito awkwardly looked toward the nearby sun and the distant planets visible around him.

"Oh crap..."

"Did I accidentally become a little too big?"

"If I move now, won't a ton of people below die...?"
