- this is my first time actually writing a novel i tried to make another one some years ago but dropped that idea and didn't even started chapter 1.
-english is not my first language so I may use a machine translator or will try to not make grammaticall mistakes.
-tbh i am not very excited about this cause there are already tons of novels like this and it's hard to think of something new and unique but I will try my best.

Alex, a former businessman living anonymously in Japan, spends his days drifting through quiet routines after abandoning his old life. One night, he opens a book given to him years ago by his childhood friend Brandon—a project only the two of them had ever known. To Alex's confusion, the contents have changed, and most of the pages are completely blank.
On the final page, dated that very day, a message instructs him to look out his window. Believing it to be a prank, Alex does so and sees Brandon standing outside. When Alex follows him, Brandon flees through the snowy streets, leading them past an old shrine that begins to glow as they pass through it.
Brandon suddenly stops in the middle of the road. A bus barrels toward them. Alex tries to save him—but both are killed in the collision, marking the end of their old lives and the beginning of something unknown.
