"Ugh, that hurts!"
Haku let out a sharp nasal cry as his small body was launched into the air by the poke before crashing heavily onto the ground.
Team 7 stared blankly at Haku lying there.
Everyone felt completely speechless.
What was that?
They had just been full of anticipation, waiting for Teacher Renji to demonstrate a top-tier ultimate that could defeat the Fifth Mizukage.
And then he used that?
Could such a vulgar move defeat the Fifth Mizukage? Who would believe that?
"Lewd!"
Haku knelt on the ground clutching his throbbing backside as his small body trembled slightly.
Behind the white mask, his face flushed with anger and embarrassment while he glared at Renji.
What a lewd ultimate technique.
Was Renji insane? Could this technique defeat the Fifth Mizukage?
Maybe it actually could.
Mei Terumi was a woman.
From another perspective, this move really could defeat her.
This technique was the public enemy of women.
"See? It's very effective," Renji chuckled casually.
"Mei Terumi's reaction back then was even stronger than yours."
Back then Mei Terumi had been so furious she swore she would kill Renji one day.
[Ding! Side Mission: Team 7 must defeat rogue ninja Zabuza Momochi]
[Mission Reward: One random Gacha Pack capable of drawing abilities and items from all worlds]
[Mission Duration: Seven days]
[No penalty for mission failure]
The system notification echoed clearly in Renji's mind.
"A Side Mission, huh? A random Gacha Pack doesn't sound that appealing."
Renji raised an eyebrow and glanced at the dying Zabuza in the distance.
Still, it counted as free benefits.
Maybe he could draw something interesting.
For example, drawing a Zanpakuto to play with.
Would letting Team 7 finish him count as defeating him?
[No. Team 7 must defeat Zabuza Momochi while he is in a full and undamaged state]
The system's clear female voice replied.
"Defeating him in full condition within seven days will probably be difficult for these Stinky Brats."
Renji turned to look at Team 7.
With their current strength, defeating Zabuza was impossible.
Unless Naruto learned ragengan and Sasuke learned chidori within seven days.
As for Sakura Haruno, he had not encountered Hundred Seals Power before.
Learning Hundred Seals Power required mastering monstrous strength first.
While Hundred Seals Power was unrealistic for now, teaching Sakura monstrous strength was still possible.
Anyway, there was no penalty for failure.
Letting them try wouldn't hurt.
Even if they failed to learn ragengan, chidori, or monstrous strength in seven days, he still had a backup plan to guarantee victory.
Renji's gaze shifted toward Naruto.
That backup plan was the Nine-Tails.
He could let Naruto directly use the Tailed Beast Cloak.
This Side Mission was basically free rewards.
Perfect.
Haku noticed Renji seemed distracted and completely ignoring him.
He immediately reacted and formed hand signs rapidly.
"Ice Release: Exploding Ice Spikes."
The ground beneath Team 7 trembled violently as several enormous ice spikes burst upward toward them and Tazuna.
The sudden attack gave them no time to react.
"Sasuke!"
Naruto shoved Sasuke aside just before an ice spike hooked his clothes and lifted him into the air.
Naruto forced a grin and looked down at Sasuke.
"Not hurt, are you, coward?"
He held grudges.
What happened earlier needed repayment.
This time he saved Sasuke and mocked him.
Next time he would save Teacher Renji and mock him too.
Sasuke stood up and watched Naruto dangling in the air as his face darkened.
"Super idiot."
He could have dodged that attack himself.
Naruto interfered unnecessarily.
"Naruto!"
Sakura looked up at him anxiously with a panicked expression.
