Renji replied lazily, "So troublesome because you haven't even paid that small tuition yet you still want demonstrations."
Sasuke answered calmly with faint sorrow in his eyes, "Once the Uchiha district is unsealed and the houses are sold I will pay the tuition."
Renji paused slightly.
He had almost forgotten that Sasuke was technically a hidden rich young master.
Once the Uchiha district reopened, all property would belong to Sasuke alone.
Renji immediately raised his hand and released pale blue Chakra that transformed into lightning while saying, "I'll demonstrate once more so watch carefully."
Lightning formed in his palm and then gradually reshaped into a lightning tachi.
Renji explained calmly, "This is nature transformation combined with shape transformation."
He continued shaping the lightning until it transformed into two lightning tigers before merging together again into a female outline made of lightning while adding casually.
"As long as you have enough Chakra and precise control you can change Chidori into many forms."
He then dismissed the lightning and added casually, "You don't need to worry about shape transformation yet because I only showed that part to show off."
Sasuke nodded slightly and replied with understanding, "I know where my problem is."
He turned to leave but stopped after a few steps and awkwardly said quietly, "Thank you."
Renji watched him leave and muttered lazily, "Stubborn tsundere."
He leaned back onto the sofa again and covered his face with his book before preparing to nap.
Honestly, Sasuke was quite talented.
During the decisive battle three days later Team 7 might not even need to rely on Nine-Tails power to defeat the kirikagura Demon Person.
Even though Zabuza was a jonin his strength was already weakened without the kubikiribōchō.
Team 7 would definitely win.
Renji closed his eyes.
A few minutes later Haku quietly approached and crouched beside the sofa while observing Renji's sleeping face and whispering softly, "Renji…"
Haku studied him carefully.
The rumors described Renji as a cold and ruthless Disaster Ninja who treated others as toys.
However the sleeping Renji seemed calmer than expected.
Haku remembered the battle from before and his face flushed slightly as he recalled the humiliating Thousand Years of Death technique.
He slowly reached toward Renji's neck but paused after noticing Team 7 still training nearby.
In their eyes Renji must be important.
Haku sighed quietly and instead covered Renji with a blanket.
Renji immediately opened his eyes and looked at him calmly while saying, "That was a wise decision because you were one step away from death."
He had already detected Haku through electromagnetic sensing long before he arrived.
Haku smiled gently and replied, "The weather is cold lately so be careful not to catch a cold sleeping outside."
Renji glanced at the blanket and teased lightly, "Very graceful and virtuous because you really are a good wom… man."
He then casually asked, "By the way how's your butt?"
Haku instantly stepped back nervously while covering himself and said angrily, "That move was perverted!"
Renji sat up slowly and replied calmly.
"Honestly you should stop being a ninja because compared to a cold-blooded ninja you are more suitable to work at an orphanage."
He continued seriously, "That was your only chance to eliminate me earlier but your softness made you hesitate and softness always leads to failure."
Haku smiled slightly and replied calmly, "Mr. pervert it feels strange being lectured by an enemy."
Renji answered calmly, "Enemy is a word reserved for equals and with your strength I cannot consider you one."
Haku tilted his head slightly and asked curiously, "Then what am I?"
Renji raised one finger slightly and replied with a faint smile, "A tool used to complete a mission."
Haku sighed helplessly and replied quietly, "Mr. pervert really is a pervert because I actually hoped you would treat me as an enemy."
After a short pause he gently asked, "Do you have someone important that you would protect at any cost?"
He remembered meeting Zabuza and smiled warmly while saying, "For someone important I am willing to give everything."
Renji replied casually, "Including your butt Little Gay Boy."
Haku froze briefly before realizing what he meant and angrily shouted, "Pervert!"
Renji answered calmly, "If you give everything you will still die."
Haku smiled softly and replied, "People become strongest when protecting someone important because on that snowy day he became my only home and even if I die for him it would still be worth it."
