Leila left a small note in Amina's notebook: "Meet me behind the café at noon. I have something to show you."
Curiosity consumed Amina. She rushed to the café at the exact time. Leila was waiting, holding a small bouquet of wildflowers. "For you," she said, cheeks flushed.
Amina's eyes sparkled. "You didn't have to," she whispered. But the warmth in her chest said otherwise.
