Arin led them out of the cave, his eyes scanning the surrounding forest. The sun was high overhead, casting drowsy shadows on the ground. Sofia felt a sense of unease, her eyes scanning the trees. They were still in danger, she knew.
As they walked, Arin's eyes met hers, his expression serious. "I need to tell you something, Princess," he said, his voice low. Sofia's heart skipped a beat, her mind racing. What was it?
"What is it?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Arin's eyes locked onto hers, his expression intense. "Your father, the king...he's not who you think he is, Princess." Sofia's mind reeled, her heart pounding in her chest. What did he mean?
"What do you mean?" she asked, her voice shaking.
Arin's eyes seemed to bore into her soul, his expression serious. "'II tell you, Princess. But first, we need to get you to safety. You're in more danger than you know."
