Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Lin En’s Solution — Seeking Investment

Lin En had already begun attempting resonance with his world-incarnation.

The moment he tried, he sensed the difference.

Previously, connecting with the World Seed required preparation—calming his mind and focusing before he could look inward.

Now?

It felt instinctive.

He had assumed that as a human consciousness, fundamentally different from a World, there would be friction in synchronizing with it—even if it was his incarnation.

Instead—

It felt like another body, perfectly in sync with himself.

In the blink of an eye, his primary consciousness left his physical form and descended, following their connection, into the newborn world.

And then—

A wondrous sensation bloomed.

Ordinarily, humans cannot fully control their own bodies. Though movements seem governed by will, deeper mechanisms remain beyond intervention.

But for a world, absolute control over every detail is the most basic instinct—

Yet it typically possesses only a macro-level will, lacking clear, focused consciousness.

The "rejection" Lin En had experienced since transmigrating was precisely such a macro-level malice from the universe.

Had there been even a trace of directed, conscious intent behind it—

The World Seed's limited power would never have sufficed.

Techniques? Leveraging small forces to move great weight?

Those only work if you possess that "small force" to begin with.

But the universe had none of that.

It merely followed instinct—attempting to expel the "foreign object."

Repeated failure did not prompt escalation.

It did not adapt.

It did not try harder.

And now—

Lin En's human consciousness entered a world that should have possessed only macro-instinct.

He became a genuine Heaven's Will.

This feeling of omnipotence… intoxicating.

Though newly born and smaller than many subspaces attached to Teyvat—

Its rank was real.

Not planetary like Teyvat—

But at least on par with the universe containing it.

Even at its weakest—

This body far surpassed his human one.

Shame I can't experiment too much right now…

Suppressing the impulse, Lin En turned his perception outward.

The good news—

With the Seed's sprouting, the world no longer resided within him.

It had truly descended into existence.

Thus, his original body was once again just a "normal transmigrator," gradually being removed from the universe's rejection list.

If this passed smoothly—

He could finally bid farewell to his cursed bad luck.

But the bad news—

The rejection had not ceased.

It had merely shifted targets.

And now that the target was larger—

The force of rejection was increasing.

He could feel it clearly.

From the world's perspective, pure white radiance enveloped him, constantly exerting pressure—

Growing.

Worse still—

The act of sprouting had consumed vast reserves of the Seed's accumulated foundation.

Not the Light Realm power he had gathered from Teyvat—

But the ancient reserves the Seed had amassed over unknowable time in the void beyond worlds.

That Light Realm power?

Merely the final droplets of water a seed requires before germination.

Replace the world, and likely other compatible energies would exist.

In short—

The balance had shifted.

The elegant "four ounces moving a thousand pounds" strategy no longer worked.

At most—

One day.

Within a day, the accumulated rejection would exceed what he could resist.

What would happen then?

He didn't know.

Perhaps his human self would survive.

But what if not?

Even without a worst-case scenario—

His once half-disabled cheat, finally restored, would likely be crippled permanently.

And then?

What would he even play with?

Fortunately… I anticipated this.

The World Seed carried no inherited memories.

But just as breathing is instinctual—

Certain truths were innate.

Lin En had never stopped studying his cheat.

The Seed, as his quasi-incarnation, did not resist examination.

Over time, he had deduced much.

Combining theory with reality, he had long predicted this tribulation upon birth.

Naturally—

He had prepared contingency plans.

And foremost among them—

The optimal solution—

It was simple.

Seek investment.

As stated before—

A world that has been born is no longer a mute seed.

Like a human emerging from ignorance and gaining language—

It can communicate with its peers.

And so—

Through instinctive channels belonging to world-level existence—

Lin En sent a message outward.

Into the domain of World Wills.
