Chapter 98 - Chapter 98 Wedding Night Pranks

Although Gregor Clegane was a second-generation incarnation, this was his first marriage.

There were no lanterns or bright red "double happiness" characters as I had imagined.

There were no churches or pastors singing Jehalya.

It wouldn't be accurate to say the whole city was celebrating.

Just like at their engagement, Jenny's mother was not among the invitees. When Jenny and Gregor return to Cliffrock, they will have another family wedding.

This was a civilized era in which merchants held little status. Agriculture, industry, commerce, and trade were all of low social standing, while soldiers and nobles were the most prestigious and respected classes.

It goes without saying that ordinary people are in even worse shape.

This was an era where nobles could take advantage of any commoner woman they saw on the street if she showed any attractiveness. Noble guards, swords at their sides, would stand by to protect their lord.

Gregor himself was the best of the best. His infamy was so great that it made children cry at night on the border. In the border regions of the Westerlands, the Riverlands, and the Reach, women would always carry black ash on their bodies. If the Mountain came along with his soldiers to patrol the border, they would immediately paint themselves up to look like grotesque monsters.

The wedding banquet was hosted by the Duke of Tywin Lannister, and the feast lasted from noon until evening.

Dozens of chefs took turns working in front of various pots and pans.

Hundreds of servants moved about the banquet, carrying wine barrels, serving bread, and bacon soup to the guests. Various plates were cleared away, and new plates full of food were brought in.

Knives and forks, as well as dinner knives and chopsticks, are all used together.

Because of Duke Tywin's promotion of chopsticks, most nobles and knights were quite sensible and used only chopsticks.

Anyway, these nobles have plenty of servants around them, so they don't need to do anything themselves when they need to cut things.

If the servants of Casterly Rock were not to be used to, the lords would use their own attendants.

Every knight has his own personal attendant.

Everything was done for me, so using chopsticks was no problem at all.

While Jaime, the eldest son of Tywin Lannister, Cersei, the eldest daughter, and Tyrion, the youngest son, were attending a lively banquet in Winterfell in the North, the wedding feast in Casterly Rock was also bustling with activity.

Many knights and nobles were already drunk and had to be carried away.

Several fights broke out during the banquet due to arguments over toasts. Without exception, these guys were all subdued by Tywin's instructor, Benlont Bronn, and his guards. Those who disobeyed were severely beaten and thrown into the ditch.

Amidst the laughter of the crowd, the bristling knights regained their senses in the stinking ditch, and with the help of their servants, they scrambled to their feet, went to the hotel to change their clothes, and washed themselves.

Sir Gregor and Miss Jenny sat together.

As night fell, someone struck a gong to start the wedding night festivities, and a specially hired band of musicians played erotic songs in the second-floor corridor. Countless jazz musicians and women, divided into two groups, rushed from the outdoor banquet area into the luxurious main hall.

Lord Tywin sat silently at the high table, surrounded by his attendants, his face as cold as ice.

The Duke was always like this, but today was a special day, a joyous occasion. People drank a lot of wine and no longer paid any attention to the Duke's expression.

Gregor had participated in many of these wedding pranks, where the groom would be stripped naked by the ladies and groped all over, then dragged, pushed, hit, touched, and grabbed by the women as they rushed into the bridal chamber amidst their laughter.

The same applies to the bride.

Those knights and nobles were all top graduates of the animal school. Miss Jenny's fair skin would be a disservice to her first transformation into a different identity if it didn't bear many scratches.

Countless evil hands will ravage Miss Jenny's entire body.

This is the world's wedding custom.

The happier the marriage, the more joyful it is.

Undoubtedly, this is a very backward and barbaric form of civilization. But it is a favorite of both men and women, and the most lively part of the wedding process: the wedding night pranks!

But in reality, this can cause varying degrees of injury to both the bride and groom, especially the delicate, flower-like bride. Whether you're a high-ranking nobleman or a lowly knight, as long as you're a man, you're all a bunch of wicked beasts.

After entering the bridal chamber, the men and women who participated in the pranks will not leave. The real highlight of the pranks is to hold the bride and groom together and continue to make a ruckus. This is also the climax of the revelry for the male and female guests.

Jenny was terrified as she watched the crowd rushing towards her like a tidal wave. In the blink of an eye, her silk robes would be reduced to shreds on the ground. Apart from desperately covering her chest with her hands, Jenny would have no way to protect herself.

This is a festival for men and women to unleash their primal instincts, but it is a nightmare for all brides and grooms.

The obese middle-aged women leading the charge among the women need no introduction, but among the men, leading the charge were several brothers from the Saloth family, with Sir Ador Saloth, who had been disciplined by the Mountain several times, at the forefront.

This is a day when the seven gods allow men to indulge in their desires towards the bride, and it's also a day for various scheming young knights to take advantage of her and seek revenge. For example, Adeau Salleh, who is determined to make Jenny his mistress, can take advantage of the wedding night festivities to do whatever he wants to Jenny.

Gregor Clegane chuckled softly to Jenny, who was pale with fright. "Don't be afraid, I'm here." He stood up, raised the table in front of him with both hands, and gently pushed it toward the laughing, mad women. The surge of energy was abruptly halted, like a wave crashing against a boulder, and then the tide receded.

Dozens of women were forcibly pushed to the ground, and those behind them surged forward, crowding together. Shouts of pain, cries for mercy, and shouts of "Don't step on me!" rang out, and insults swirled around them, much to Gregor's amusement.

On the other side, several brothers and family knights of Silver Hall and several brothers and family knights of the Rocky Hall, more than twenty men, rushed to the front and pounced on Jenny like a pack of wolves tearing apart a poor little lamb.

Gregor gently lifted Jenny up with one hand, just like an adult would lift a child. He took a step back, creating a large distance between them, then stepped forward and kicked out, striking Ador Sharot squarely in the chest.

Ador Saloth was shoved down by an irresistible force, his chest bones cracking as he crashed violently backward, pulling a large group of knights with him down with a thud. The ever-flowing hordes of knights and family knights collided with Ador's group, instantly halting the advance of this human wave.

"Don't be afraid, stand here," Gregor said softly to Miss Jenny.

He put Jenny down, strode forward, and knocked out Liller Kreeher, nicknamed "Strong Pig," with a single punch. He then grabbed a burly knight and hurled him towards the gate. With a thud, the knight arced through the air and crashed into the crowd, scattering the knights who had rushed to harass Jenny.
