Chapter 1 - PART 2

The next few days felt unreal. Luneria Heights College was closed, and the city was filled with rumors. Some people called it a gas leak, others blamed technology, and a few spoke in whispers about something supernatural. The truth, however, remained hidden.

Reometo stayed mostly at home. He avoided the noise of the city and spent his time thinking. The image of the distorted space and the student disappearing refused to leave his mind. At night, his sleep was shallow, filled with strange dreams that felt too vivid to be meaningless.

One afternoon, his friends gathered again at his house. They were the same people he had known for years, yet something about them felt different now, as if the incident had changed them all.

Zukena was the first to speak. He was calm by nature, the kind of person who observed more than he talked. His sharp eyes missed nothing, and even now, while everyone else spoke in panic, he tried to connect the details logically.

Hepter sat beside him, restless and angry. He hated not having answers. He kept blaming the college, the government, anyone who could be blamed. Fear showed itself in him as frustration, and he paced the room while talking.

Remin was quieter. She listened carefully, her expressions shifting with every new thought. She had always been sensitive to things others ignored, and ever since that day, she claimed she could still feel something strange in the air, as if the incident had left a mark on the city itself.

Qunter leaned against the wall, arms crossed, trying to act normal. He often joked to lighten the mood, but this time his jokes felt forced. Deep down, he was afraid, even if he did not want to admit it.

They talked for hours. Everyone had seen something slightly different, yet the outcome was the same. Students had vanished, and no explanation made sense.

As the discussion deepened, Reometo finally spoke. He described the feeling he had when the dimension appeared—the pull, the awareness, the sense that it was not random. His friends slowly fell silent, listening carefully.

Zukena was the first to say what they were all thinking. If this had happened once, it could happen again.

That thought changed everything.

They realized that running away would not protect them. Whatever caused the incident was still out there, unseen and unexplained.

As night fell, an uneasy silence filled the room. None of them said it out loud, but all of them felt the same thing.

Their lives were no longer normal.

Somewhere far beyond the city, something had noticed Luneria.

And it had not finished.
