Karui let out a long breath and stretched, then frowned in concern.

Just another typical day of banter and bickering from the pair from Kumogakure…
But right then, Aoi darted forward and picked up a few small, pea‑like seeds from the floor.

With that, he lifted them as if about to pop them into his mouth.
"Whoa, those are filthy! Throw them away at once!"
Hearing Omoi's warning, Aoi obediently tossed all the "peas" aside.
Hidden in the wall nearby, Yamato gritted his teeth in frustration.
Those aren't peas, you little rascal — those are my tracking and messaging seeds!
Of course, Aoi — who knew the original story inside out — was fully aware what they really were.
Yet he had decided to do exactly as he did anyway.
Because what was about to unfold next was something even a time‑traveler like him, who had read the whole story, found impossible to stomach…

Though Aoi also knew that things were rarely as simple as he hoped.
True to Naruto's "ninja way," even without the tracking seeds, he would surely find another way to follow them.
"Kraaak…!"
High above, an ink‑formed hawk circled, its eyes locked firmly onto Aoi and the others below.
"Truly stubborn," Aoi sighed and shook his head.
He had no wish to meddle further — if Naruto was determined to go through with it, there was little he could do to stop him.
But just at that moment…
"Ding — Trial Mission triggered."

Objective: The opposite sex exists only for reproduction; only bonds between those of the same gender represent true love.
Assist Naruto in getting the official manhunt order against Sasuke revoked.

After a long silence, Aoi clenched his fists and roared toward the sky in exasperation: "System — are you kidding me?! This task is practically a slap in the face!"

"Though if the protagonist were a masochist, we might reconsider."

Aoi was certain the System must have recently installed some kind of update — either one that turned it into a mischievous prankster, or one designed to quietly make the host's life as difficult as possible.
But then…
"A Rasengan scroll?!"
Gulp…
Aoi swallowed hard.
While the Chidori was a powerful technique, it paled in comparison to the Rasengan — the signature move of the main character, which appeared in every major arc of the series.
What made it even more formidable was its endless variety of forms and transformations, far exceeding the straightforward force of lightning techniques.
This was a "sphere" that could be honed, refined, and used for a lifetime.
