Chapter 29 - Chapter 29 Suddenly Became a Father

After everything was over, Acnologia returned to the kingdom, sat back on the throne, and listened to the First Dragon Slayer General report on the events of the past few days.

The capital city of Doragunov was relatively safe, as it was only harassed and attacked by a few dragons, while most of the dragons were besieging the kingdom of Philos.

The Kingdom of Philos is home to most of the human mages, and most of the benevolent dragons are also there. The evil dragons are probably also planning to completely annihilate the human resistance in one battle.

"Has Eileen not returned yet?"

"No!"

Acnologia nodded slightly. Although Irene was very talented, she was far from being able to stand shoulder to shoulder with him. It would not be possible to fully transform into a dragon in a short time.

However, there are already quite a few Dragon Slayer Mages who have partially transformed into dragons, and there has even been a fully transformed white dragon, so there should be no need to hide anymore.

He glanced at the ministers kneeling on the ground, trembling, and said, "Since the number one has given you orders, then do as he says. Otherwise, you bunch of good-for-nothings are useless."

"Yes, Lord Acnologia!"

The ministers quickly responded that this man's ruthlessness far surpassed that of the First Dragon Slayer General. They could not even refute him; even delaying their reply by a second could cost them their lives.

At this time, they missed Queen Irene terribly and wondered where she had gone.

Acunorokia thought for a moment and said, "Remember to distribute some of the food to the common people, as long as they don't starve to death."

Now that he's back, the kingdom's army isn't under as much pressure. If it weren't for the dragons attacking, he could have handled it all by himself, without even needing any soldiers. Now, all he needs to do is maintain the kingdom's stability.

Since Eileen entrusted the kingdom to him, he should also take some responsibility.

"Yes, sir!"

The First Dragon Slayer General immediately replied respectfully, then looked at the ministers below and roared, "Useless trash! Get to work now!"

These old good-for-nothings are only capable of doing this kind of thing. Lord Acnologia has already made arrangements, yet they still don't have any sense of propriety.

"Yes, Number One!"

Many ministers were terrified by the shout, and after responding, they hurriedly retreated.

"Number One, you watch over the kingdom. I'm going out for a bit, I'll be right back!"

After giving a command, Acnologia disappeared from the throne; he was going to check on Eileen's training progress.

...

Deep in the mountains, a crimson dragon lay asleep on the ground. Sunlight filtered through the branches of a large tree, dappling its body and making its scales shimmer with a gentle light.

Suddenly she sensed something, slowly opened her sleepy eyes, and looked up at the sky.

With a howling wind, a dark figure descended from the sky, shattering the ground beneath its feet. The newcomer had blue hair and wore a long black robe, exuding a terrifying and ominous aura of magic.

"Acunorokia!"

The crimson dragon's eyes lit up with joy, and it instinctively wanted to pounce, forgetting that it was in dragon form.

Acnologia dodged her attack with a swift movement, stood on her giant claw, and said with a hint of amusement, "Are you trying to kill me?"

The crimson dragon was Eileen, who had now fully transformed into a dragon, but she did not exhibit any signs of madness.

Eileen was embarrassed for a moment, then buried her head on the ground and asked, "Why are you here? How is the kingdom?"

Although she could sense that the kingdom was being attacked by the evil dragon, it did not collapse at the first touch, so she did not go to help.

"Aside from the lack of food and the fact that some people are starving to death," Acunorokia said.

Eileen fell silent. People were starving to death; how could this be considered good?

However, she didn't have any good ideas, since food can't be created out of thin air.

"How's your magic training going?"

Acnologia looked around. On the other side were the corpses of two dragons, a extinguished fire, and the charred, blackened thighs of a dragon.

It seems Eileen's cooking skills aren't very good; she clearly baked something that's inedible.

Eileen said in a low voice, "Almost there. I estimate that in another month, I will be able to fully transform back into human form."

After she fully transformed into a dragon, she could even cast ultimate enchantments. Her magic power surged to a level that she herself found unbelievable. Even when facing the Dragon King, she was not afraid at all.

"but..."

Eileen hesitated for a moment, then stood up from her massive dragon form and touched her abdomen: "I feel like there's a new life growing inside, like there's a baby?"

"Baby?"

Acnologia looked surprised. They've had it so quickly?

Am I going to be a father?

Eileen continued, "But she's growing so fast, I'm not sure."

She could clearly feel the little thing inside her belly changing every day. The speed of its growth left her bewildered. Whose child grows so fast?

Upon hearing this, Acnologia reached out and placed his hand on Irene's abdomen, his magic slowly seeping in. After a while, he sensed the little life that was connected to him by blood.

It's a girl, about one or two years old...

She's definitely developing a bit too fast!

Acnologia stroked his chin, pondering, "Could it be because my and Irene's magic is too strong? Or is it because of dragonification?"

He remembered that in the original story, Irene also became pregnant with Erza after transforming into a dragon, but the baby was born four hundred years later...

Acnologia's eyes suddenly widened as he thought of a question: if Irene were to be pregnant for four hundred years, how big would the baby be if it grew at that rate?

Moreover, she will need to be transformed into a human later, so it's definitely not possible to keep her in the womb any longer.

Eileen also felt that continuing the pregnancy was not a good idea and suggested, "She's growing too fast, how about... a C-section!"

Acnologia nodded in agreement: "We already have dragon-transformed dragon slayer mages. One more or one less won't make a difference. Come back to the kingdom with me and find a space mage to move the child out!"

The two hit it off immediately and rushed back to the Kingdom of Doragunov; this matter couldn't be delayed.

The baby is not small anymore; he can walk on the ground now.

The guards on the city walls of Doragunov thought a giant dragon was attacking and summoned a large number of soldiers to meet the enemy. Fortunately, they did not attack when they saw Akunorokia.

After explaining the situation, the two found a mage who knew spatial magic and prepared to transfer the baby out.

Because Eileen's magic was too strong, she had to find a secluded place to expend her magic before she could begin.

Fortunately, it was a close call.

Acnologia held the baby carefully, completely enamored with him. Becoming a father had come so suddenly; he hadn't been prepared at all.

Eileen wanted to hug him too, but since she was in her dragon form, she could only stare wide-eyed at him.

He secretly encouraged himself, determined to transform the person as soon as possible.
