Chapter 104 – The End of a Memorable Year
Time flew by for Jacob. After his invigorating trip to Hawaii, he returned with renewed energy to face the commitments of the rest of the year.
August ended, and soon September arrived bringing one of the biggest TV events: the Emmy Awards.
September – The Emmy Awards
The awards ceremony took place in Los Angeles, bringing together the biggest stars of TV series. Even though he wasn't directly competing, Jacob was invited as one of the film personalities who was also part of the television universe.
He arrived at the event in a luxurious black car, wearing an impeccable custom-made Armani suit.
When he got out, camera flashes went off from all sides. Fans shouted his name as he walked down the red carpet.
An E! News reporter approached.
— Jacob! Good evening! You look amazing. How is it to be here at the Emmy Awards?
He smiled.
— Good evening! It's always a pleasure to be surrounded by so much talent. Television is getting stronger and stronger, and it's incredible to see how the industry has evolved.
— Do you plan on doing a series in the future?
— If the right project comes along, definitely. TV has produced incredible stories in recent years.
During the awards ceremony, he sat next to friends from the artistic community. The night was full of emotional moments, powerful speeches, and tributes.

Jacob was already a regular at the event and, as usual, was invited to watch the show. He sat in the front row, wearing a casual yet elegant suit.

While having a drink, Candice approached him with a smile.

The year 2018 started with a bang. After a quiet end to the year, Jacob was back in the hustle and bustle of the film industry. The first big event of the year? The Golden Globe Awards.
It was one of Hollywood's most important events, and Jacob, as an award-winning actor and one of the industry's most influential personalities, received his invitation of honor.

Jacob woke up early and started the day with his usual routine. He went for a morning run with Lucky on the beach, then went to the gym for a light workout, just to get his muscles going.
Back at his mansion, his agent, Richard Calloway, was already waiting.
"Today's the big day!" Richard said excitedly, flipping through some papers.
"The Golden Globes never disappoint," Jacob replied, grabbing a bottle of water and sitting on the sofa.
"You're among the big names of the night." Even without being nominated this year, the press will hunt you down everywhere. Especially after everything that happened in 2017…
Jacob laughed.
— It's part of the game, right?
Richard handed him a detailed schedule of the event.
— Armani sent your exclusive suit this morning. Your styling team is already waiting to start the preparations.
Jacob nodded and went upstairs, where his stylist and hairdresser were already preparing everything for the evening.
Hours later, Jacob was wearing an impeccable Giorgio Armani suit, custom-made especially for him.
The outfit was a classic black tuxedo, with cuts perfectly tailored to his athletic physique. The detail that caught the eye was the velvet bow tie and the Italian shoes gleaming under the dressing room lights.
While he was finalizing the adjustments in the mirror, his cell phone vibrated. It was a message from Margot Robbie.
"See you on the red carpet? I'm curious to see if your outfit is up to par with mine."
Jacob laughed and replied quickly.
"Prepare to lose this elegance contest."
Soon, he got out and entered the limousine that would take him directly to the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where the ceremony would take place.
The luxurious black car stopped in front of the event. As soon as Jacob got out, flashes exploded from all sides.
Photographers shouted his name, fans cheered, and journalists vied for a moment with him.
A reporter from Variety caught his attention.
"Jacob! Always one of the most anticipated of the night! How are you feeling at this Golden Globes?"
"Very good! It's always incredible to see so many colleagues gathered to celebrate film and television."
"You've already won a Golden Globe and an Oscar. Do you still feel that emotion when participating in the awards ceremony?"
"Always! Each event has its own energy." And today I just want to enjoy myself, reconnect with friends, and cheer for great talents.
He chatted with other journalists, took photos, and went inside the hall, where the event was about to begin.
Jacob was directed to a table where some friends and colleagues were seated. Tom Hardy, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Charlize Theron sat beside him.
"Looks like we're at the same table again," DiCaprio joked, taking a drink.
"You must know we always make for good stories," Jacob replied with a smile.
The awards ceremony began, and as the announcements were made, Jacob applauded each of the winners. At one point, Charlize leaned towards him.
"You should be on stage receiving one of those statuettes today."
He smiled.
"My moment was last year. Today I'm just here to enjoy myself."
The night continued with emotional speeches and some surprises during the awards presentation. But one of the most iconic moments was when Oprah Winfrey took the stage to receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award. Her speech was one of the most inspiring of the night, bringing the audience to a standing ovation.
Jacob clapped energetically, admiring the power of her words.
Charlize commented beside him:
"If she ever runs for president, she has my vote."
Jacob laughed.
"And mine too."
After the main event, Jacob went to one of the exclusive parties hosted by major studios and luxury brands.
The party was full of celebrities, lively music, and sophisticated drinks.
While grabbing a whiskey at the bar, he felt a touch on his shoulder. Turning around, he saw Scarlett Johansson, stunning in an elegant red dress.
"So? Did you have fun at the ceremony?" she asked, taking a glass of champagne.
"It was incredible. Oprah dominated everything today," he replied, toasting with her.
— And as always, you're the most stylish guy at the event.
— Well, I need to maintain my reputation, — he joked.
The two chatted for a while, then Jacob went to greet other friends, like Margot Robbie and Chris Hemsworth.
Later, he met Gigi and Bella Hadid, who pulled him onto the dance floor.
"You've been so serious all night. Now it's time to let loose!" Bella said, pulling him to dance.
He laughed and joined in the fun. The party lasted until the early hours, with laughter, drinks, and memorable moments.
In the early morning, Jacob decided it was time to go home. He said goodbye to his friends and took a car back to his mansion in Los Angeles.
Upon arriving, he took off his tuxedo, took a relaxing shower, and lay down on the bed.
Before sleeping, he picked up his cell phone and saw hundreds of notifications on Instagram and Twitter. Social media was dominated by comments about the event – and his name was in several headlines:

He laughed and locked his phone screen.
