Zein's Point of View
"Zein, wake up,"
I shift my position ignoring someone squeezing my cheeks. I almost shout at anger when the jerk grabbed my comforter.
I opened my eyes but I was the one who gasped when I saw who the man with the poker face was looking at me.
Shit! I forgot!
"Shhh." His expression is annoyed.
"What are you doing here?" I almost covered my face with a pillow so he couldn't see what I looked like.
Damn it! I almost forgot! We're here in the Condo that he bought for the two of us. So we don't have to travel long distances every day since the school we're going to is also close to here.
"To wake you up," He turned his back on me. "Get dressed and have breakfast." He said before finally leaving my room.
I quickly went to the mirror to check my appearance. OH.MY.GHAD! I look like I've been raped by a cap--- Err.
I snorted when I saw the wall clock. It was only six in the morning and we had class at eight. GHAD! I forgot, I am living with the president.

I stretched a little more before grabbing a towel and entering the bathroom. I froze in the cold as the cold water enveloped my body.
Today is our first day as a college student and yes, we are in the same school. I took a course in HRM while he took Business Management so he could help Raze manage the company that their father left behind.
The President is richer than me and I think, it's bad.
After drying my hair, I left the room.
I caught Ace sitting on the sofa watching cartoons. His eyes landed on me as a smile peeked out from his lips.
"You're still beautiful in the morning,"
I wanted to frown but I couldn't. I smiled at what he said. It was an early introduction to me. It was like my annoyance with him disappeared just because of his smile.

"Breakfast," He ushered me into the kitchen.
I closed my eyes when I smelled a familiar smell that made my stomach churn. "Adobo?!" I said happily and immediately sat down.
He poured me rice and a dish and I immediately devoured it. I could feel his gaze on me but I didn't move. I was hungry and I didn't have time to be shy.
"Just slowly."
I glanced at him as he slowly chewed his food. I felt embarrassed for myself. he acted more like a woman to me.
After we ate, we went to the sofa and talked about dos and don'ts. Seriously? I am not a kid anymore! In fact, I can already give him a child---Err.
"Here," He handed me the cellphone he bought.
When I saw its casing, I felt like I wanted to be shy. "Don't be shy," he said, his tone mixed with sarcasm. "You love Dora, right?" He continued.
"Yes but... Damn it! You don't have to buy me a Dora casing!" I shouted, making her laugh.
He waved his cellphone. "I am your boots," He said. The casing was a monkey.
I snorted because doesn't he know that's exciting? He wouldn't leave me alone.
"You are Dora and I am your boots therefore, you are not allowed to go in an adventure without me by your side."
"Fine but, you really looks like a monkey."
His eyes narrowed so I knew he was serious and didn't have time to joke. It was just awkward that I joked and I was the only one laughing. My killjoy boyfriend.
"I am dead serious, Zein."
"All right," I gave up.
I opened the cellphone he gave me. The wallpaper was still the default.

"That's my number," he said. "I don't have your number yet."
It was only then that I turned to look at him.
I raised my eyebrows at him. Didn't he take it yet? "Then, save it." I reached for my cellphone but he just looked at it.
He snorted. "Text me," he said. "It's loaded." He continued.
"All right,"
"It should be I love you."
I laughed and as he said, I texted him I love you. His cellphone beeped and he showed me my text.
"I love you, too."
After we cleared our differences, we exited the building and headed straight to the parking lot.
"We'll go home together," he reminded her again while driving.
I just nodded and turned on the radio and the song was If you are not the one.
I closed my eyes when Supremo said it along with me. It was as if all the memories of yesterday came flooding back. It was as if everything had happened to them and it was still the same for me. I admit, I miss that place.
"The BM Building is far from the HRM Building!"
"I know,"
"Then, leave me alone. You'll get away with it!"
He gave me a hard time. I just shook my head because he was late. We were having a great time talking and we didn't notice the time and it just didn't seem to matter to him.
We stopped walking when a man with a smile stopped us. I don't know, but I had a bad feeling about his smile.
"You two are late,"

"I am Cedric Lastimosa. The President of the Supreme Student Council."

I couldn't help but laugh because Ace was once the President of an unusual school and comparing him to that man? That's an insult to Ace Craige.
We stopped at room 321. The door was already closed so I knew their class was about to start.
"I'm fine,"

"You are driving me insane," she ruffled her hair angrily and I could do nothing but watch her.

I just shrugged. This man is really full of himself. Well, a part of it was indeed right. I can't see anything special when we are not together. Err--- Is it bad? I hope not.

We looked at President Cedric, who was smiling while holding a tray with his food on it. There was one more seat on our side.
"No---"
"Sure," I interrupted Ace who just sneered at me.
He pulled my chair closer to him, leaving a wide space between Cedric and I.
"I don't eat people," he said laughingly to Ace.
"I know, but I do."
Cedric was stunned and his eyebrows furrowed. I simply elbowed Ace because he was getting harsh and I didn't want to make enemies and another Student Council President just before we met.
"Fatty foods huh?" Cedric commented on Supremo's food.
I just didn't move because I knew Ace didn't like everyone else, he was the one who interfered and these guys just--- UGH! I did everything to avoid trouble but I think this stranger is also looking for something to harm him.
Wrong move, Cedric.
"I am not a goat unlike you, dude."
"I am not a goa-"
"Then, a cow? Sorry, my mistake."
"Ace!" I grabbed Ace's arm, not even aware that the man in front of us was about to explode in anger.
Supremo put his spoonful of food in my mouth. "Darling..." I quickly ate it when he stopped.
I heard Cedric's soft chuckle so we looked at him--- It turned out to be just me.

"Zein and this is Ace---"
"Her boyfriend." Supremo continued, putting his arm around me.
Cedric nodded. I noticed that he hadn't touched his food. He must have lost his appetite after the exchange of words with Ace.

"Are you stupid as fuck? Haven't you heard her name? It's not a babe and don't call her that way..." Mixed with threats from Ace. "I am Ace but when you try to interfere us, you can call me Devil and I'll give you hell." Supremo stood up and pulled me away from there.
I guess, it won't be easy for us to study in this school not because of the professors but the students like us. That Cedric is number one. I can't blame Supremo when he pulls out a knife.
But if we compare our situation now to our situation before, it's nothing. We will survive this.
It's already afternoon but Supremo is still not there. He said we would meet at the waiting shed but he's still not there. I'm the only one here and I'm almost bitten by a mosquito.
"Sister..." I looked at the child in front of me.

"The man sent word that your boyfriend had gone home."
My forehead furrowed at his remark. Supremo wouldn't just leave me and he wouldn't leave without me. I know that man but why?

He pointed at a man wearing a cap. He noticed that we were looking at him so he quickly got into his car and sped off.

Ace's Point of View
It's annoying that our professor dismissed us so late. Zein is waiting. I almost run all the way to the waiting shed.
I know he's still waiting because I promised him that we would always go home together. If he goes first, he'll wait in the waiting shed and if I go, I'll be there too.
They just got home because he texted me.
I frowned when I noticed that there was no one there. It was impossible for him to leave because I told him to wait for me.
I decided to wait a few minutes in case someone was passing by or shopping, but after half an hour, he still wasn't there, so I decided to call him.
I bit my lip hard when he didn't answer. I called him several times but there was no answer.
Damn it! He's making me worry.
I quickly ran to the parking lot to get my car. Maybe he was there first and got bored because I was waiting so long, but I know Zein. He wouldn't do that.
As I drive, I can't help but think of all sorts of possibilities. Possibilities that only add to the fear I feel.
I pressed my head hard.
I just ran up the stairs and didn't bother taking the elevator. I was out of breath when I arrived at our condo.
The lights are on. Is he here? I quickly went to the kitchen and found Zein already cooking.
I breathed a sigh of relief.
"I told you to wait for me!" I said a little irritated, which surprised him because he hadn't noticed my arrival. He turned to me with his eyebrows furrowed. "We have an agreement!" I added something more.
He raised his eyebrows at me and nodded. He was still holding the spoon in his right hand.
"What are you talking about?! You're the one who told me to go home!" He shouted angrily. "I've been waiting for you! Where did you come from?!" He asked.
I don't know why I suddenly hugged him. Maybe it was because I was so worried that I hadn't found him and he hadn't answered yet.
