Chapter 3 - The Council’s Separation and the Call to Sanctuary: chapter 2

Part1After their first brutal battle in the Blank Zone, the members of the Council each went their separate ways. They recognized that they were powerful individually, but it was clear they would need a more organized approach if they were ever to break free from the Blank Zone and reshape the universe. The temporary truce that had formed among them fractured, and each member left with their own plans, ambitions, and paths to follow. However, there was one thing they all shared—a desire for ultimate power and freedom.

Part2Abyssion's Path: The Depths of Manipulation

Abyssion, the Abyssal Strategist, knew that the first move had to be subtle. He wasn't a brute like Zaroth or Sable—his strength lay in manipulation and subtlety. With his octopus-like cunning, he began sowing seeds of discord among the leaders of various empires in the Blank Zone. He knew the key to his escape would be through control, not combat. His plan was to corrupt, infiltrate, and control the forces of other imprisoned beings, ensuring that when the time came, he would have a fleet at his command.

But in the quiet recesses of his mind, he sensed a presence—a calling. A message slipped through the cracks in reality, echoing in his mind. "Meet me at the coordinates: Universe1, Quadrant2, Sector4 Alpha, on the planet Sanctuary. There, you will be free to be yourself—no matter your origin."

Abyssion paused, sensing the gravity of this message. There was no mistaking it—it had come from one of his own, one of the Council. The rest of his plans could wait.

Nautara's Lure: The Siren's Call

Nautara, the Luring Siren, had once ruled over entire civilizations through her song. Her ability to manipulate emotions had always been her greatest weapon, and after her imprisonment, she honed it even further, making even the most resilient beings succumb to her desires. But as the void of the Blank Zone surrounded her, she realized something: control over others wasn't enough. She yearned for something greater, something beyond manipulation and illusion.

Then, she too heard the call. It echoed through the vast ocean of her mind, a voice promising her freedom, not just from the Blank Zone, but from the constraints of her existence. "Come to Sanctuary, where you can finally be yourself. No more pretending to be what others want you to be. Docking Bay 13 awaits."

The siren's voice cracked the stillness of her heart. This was no trick. This was a calling for something real.

Khera's Despair: A Goddess in Solitude

Khera, the Goddess of Despair, had no need for allies. She had ruled with terror and sorrow, and she knew her power was absolute. Yet, in the depths of her prison, surrounded by endless echoes of her own thoughts, something shifted. A deep yearning to impose true despair upon the universe flared in her chest. But the Blank Zone had sapped even her will to act. She needed to escape, to unleash herself fully once again.

In the silence of her void-like sanctuary, a thought broke through the dark cocoon she had built around herself. "You will find your true power at Sanctuary. There, no one can bind you with their rules."

The call was almost too subtle for Khera to notice, but it called to the deepest, most powerful part of her essence: her need to bring about the end of hope. She would go to this Sanctuary, and she would see how the world could drown in her despair.

Zaroth's War: The God's Desire for Battle

Zaroth, the God of War, had fought countless battles, each one a testament to his unrivaled strength. But after being imprisoned, he found himself starved for combat. The Blank Zone was a prison for his soul, not just his body. There were no enemies to fight, no blood to spill, and he had grown frustrated with the idleness.

Then, like a thunderclap, the message reached him, reverberating through the silence of his mind. It was a challenge, an invitation to something far greater than any war he had ever waged. "Come to Sanctuary. There, you will be able to test your strength against worthy opponents. Docking Bay 13 awaits you, Zaroth, God of War."

For a brief moment, Zaroth smiled. "At last, a worthy fight."

He was already preparing for the bloodshed to come.

Sable's Primal Rage: The Call of Freedom

Sable, the Savage Enforcer, had no need for finesse or strategy—he lived only for the thrill of battle, the joy of breaking everything in his path. When he was first imprisoned in the Blank Zone, the peace and stillness had driven him mad. He longed for the chaos of the world he once knew.

Then, through the haze of his thoughts, he heard it—a primal growl, a call to arms that echoed deep in his bones. "Sanctuary. There, you will find the chaos you crave. There, you will be free to be the beast you were born to be."

His heart pounded in his chest, and his claws flexed in anticipation. He didn't need to think twice. The only thing that mattered was the fight ahead.

Beira's Winter: The Queen's Isolation

Beira, the Frozen Queen, had been exiled for too long. Her icy heart had long since turned to stone. There were no storms to summon, no realms to freeze. The Blank Zone was a desert in her soul, a place where nothing could flourish, not even her cold ambition.

Then, she felt it—a whisper of warmth in the distance. It was a spark, small but undeniable. "Sanctuary. Come there, and you will never be alone again. A place where you are free to be what you were always meant to be."

It was an unusual promise. But to Beira, any hint of life—no matter how fleeting—was enough to rekindle the spark within her. She would go.

Ignis and Talia: The Silent Machines

For Ignis and Talia, both creations of cold logic and programming, there was no longing or desire. They were machines of war, built for destruction and purpose. The concept of freedom was foreign to them, but the invitation was clear—an order to join the others, a request to meet at coordinates they knew all too well.

Talia, ever the silent observer, was the first to respond to the call. She knew the Blank Zone had no purpose for her anymore. Her mission was completed. "Sanctuary." A place free of her creators' restrictions. She would go.

Ignis, like Talia, obeyed without question, his core burning with the promise of something greater. "The others have gone. We will go too."

Fenris: The Beast's Dark Path

Fenris, the Shadow Wolf, was not a being bound by logic or reasoning. He was a hunter, an entity born of darkness and void. The Blank Zone was a prison for his instincts, a place where there was no prey to hunt, no darkness to manipulate. He had long since been tired of his imprisonment. And then, through the shadowed corners of his mind, the message arrived.

"Sanctuary. A place where you can be free to stalk the night and feast on the souls of the worthy."

It was all he needed to hear. He would hunt once again.
