They group soon left the cave, they had not left the woman's corpse behind, the captain was currently carrying it although such a scene is really tragic it happens all the time
It's one of the risks involved when fighting creatures in the labyrinth, you could die at any moment
For people like Adam whether he lived or died no one would care much, the world was like that
They made they're way back to the area close to the entrance they wanted to continue looking for other xion caves but with the people they rescued they had to leave them somewhere safe and this part of the labyrinth wasn't safe
The labyrinth is a huge place with an estimated length of five hundred thousand metres and this was only the tenth layer, the labyrinth had about ten layers each layer housing different lethal creatures the lower one went the more dangerous the creatures become
Adam's group had only gone slightly deep into it, they had not truly ventured inside it,they were a close distance from the entrance
Soon they arrived back, there was a building where the injured would be taken to be healed
Four of the group members took the three women there the captain followed them as well, the remaining members waited for them to come back some talked while others chose to keep quiet
In a building a distance to Adam's right in it posters are placed announcing the areas a group will be in or recruiting members for a mission, Adam joined this group recently as such the existing members and him weren't that close the group needed someone with at least a rank two in the light domain Adam was in a need of merit as such he joined them
Adam was also younger than most this made it hard for them to talk much
"Hey" a man with a slightly visible beard walked up to Adam he seemed to be friendly with everyone as he radiated a cheerful air
"Hey" Adam responded in an enthusiastic manner
"For someone your age you're pretty good" he said with a smile on his face
"Thanks, you're also skilled with the sword" Adam also threw a complement
If this was Adam's first time here he would have fallen for the praise but..
"You didn't work as hard as us so your cut's gonna be reduced you don't mind right?" the man said while standing close to Adam his hand was placed on Adam's right shoulder
'there it is'
Adam looked at the man then gave him the middle finger
"Reduce your mother's cut" Adam said to the man with a smile on his face

The man was surprised to hear this before he could properly rage out Adam hit him with his right fist
The group was shocked at the turn of events Adam wasn't the most muscular as such they thought they could take advantage of him but Adam wasn't easy to bully
The group saw a binding light,they closed their eyes slightly at this, Adam poked at the man's left eye
"Haaa!!" The man screamed from pain but Adam was unrelenting
He kicked his abdomen a groan was heard as the man fell to one knee Adam's blinding light had faded he moved back a few steps then spat and said
"I'm not your brothers for you to take advantage of gimme my cut while I'm feeling generous"
The were guards close by Adam was confident that they wouldn't take his life but the guards wouldn't help him unless death was close
"Send me the merits on my ID card I'm sure the captain knows it" as Adam said this he sprinted for the gates
In his hands was a dagger and a potion Adam had snatched these item's from the man
Upon realising this they chased after him but they were slightly slower the moment Adam stepped out the gates he disappeared from sight
"That son of a..!" While holding his eye the man cursed at Adam
The guards just spared him a glance they didn't seem to care about what just happened to him
Walking on the uneven road Adam walked as if he did nothing wrong his loot was in his pockets,he looked up at the blue sky
'Everland the biggest city in Britannia on the surface it houses one of the biggest labyrinths in the world with progress towards conquering it going smoothly the cites have beautiful skyscrapers and the people live in harmony'

Adam had a smile on his face while walking when joining the group he expected such a situation after all Adam was only seventeen easy to take advantage of
Once the chance presented itself he went in for the steal before they could he would have preferred to obtain the merits points then steal from them but things don't go according to plan
Using your domain abilities outside the labyrinth was forbidden, crimes committed in the labyrinth aren't recognised outside, Adam knew that as long as he stayed here he would be safe
He took out his loot and inspected them
The dagger was made out of shadows using shadow manifestation from the shadow domain it's worth is about four hundred merits, the potion grants one a boast in strength for about five minutes it belongs to the war domain it's worth is about fifteen hundred
'How could you scam a scammer?'
Soon Adam arrived close to his apartment he didn't enter and bypassed it he was going to a different area
He soon saw an even road with cars passing by without worrying about potholes, the shops were of better condition than the ones close to his apartment
He walked to a certain shop at the side of the road
This shop had a see through window inside the shop were armour and weapons as well as potions
Adam walked in the shop, the cashier looked at him but Adam didn't mind he walked up to the counter and took out the potion and asked
"How much?"
Unlike most thieves Adam had a gentle appearance the cashier didn't consider Adam to be a thief
He examined the potion then took out a monocle after inspecting it for a while he said
"Fourteen hundred"
"That will do, do you have any sword's and armour around the price range of five thousand and I would also like some books around the price range of five hundred"
Adam asked while looking around
"An assistant will help you" with your needs the cashier said he took out a phone and called for someone
Soon a woman with a fair appearance came she looked at me with a smile and asked
"How many I help you sir?,"
"Take him to view some weapons and armour around the price range of five thousand as well as a selection of books around five hundred" the cashier said
"Certainly follow me sir" the assistant said as she started to walk
I followed behind her, we soon reached at a selection of weapons the were swords of different colours some swords had black lines on them, some had orange line , some red lines
These lines represented the domain the sword belonges to, the was a price tag close to every sword as well as a list of abilities the sword offered and the domain it belongs to
Adam walked up to a long white sword, the sword had white lines it's price was four thousand five hundred it's abilities were
'this long sword belonges to the wisdom domain it grants the user partial protection against weak mental attacks, can deal weak mental attacks affecting the opponents thought process '
'Will I need this?' Adam stared at the sword for a while before moving on to the next
The next sword was a black odachi with black lines it's price was five thousand it's abilities were
'This odachi belongs to the shadow domain it let's the user deal damage to lower shadow creatures and can sense shadow creatures '
'No protection against shadow attacks?' Adam frowned at this, shadow creatures were extremely hard to deal with
'Should I increase my budget?'
