Chapter 13 - Next in Line: Tang San & Tang Chuan

White World, Shrek Academy.

"It's finally finished playing!"

Looking at the comparison heavenly screen, the video about Tang San of the Black World has finally ended.

Ning Rongrong also let out a long sigh of relief.

This video of Tang San from the Black World was truly suffocating to watch, making one's fists clench in anger!

I hope the video of Tang Chuan from our White World will be easier to watch.

At the very least, I hope he isn't so foolishly filial to that Tang Hao.

Regardless, she simply couldn't agree with it.

After waiting for several hours,

the comparison heavenly screen finally lit up again, and images began to appear on it once more.

However, just like the comparison video of Tang San from the Black World,

in the comparison video of Tang Chuan from the White World,

it began with Tang Hao fleeing through the mountains and forests with Ah Yin and their newborn child, pursued by Spirit Masters from Spirit Hall led by the Qian Xunji.

To allow Tang Hao to escape with the child,

Ah Yin chose to Sacrifice herself, allowing Tang Hao to break through to become a Titled Douluo and obtain a hundred-thousand-year-old ninth spirit ring.

After breaking through, Tang Hao's eyes bulged with rage. Channeling his grief into power, he activated the Great Sumeru Hammer: Ring Bursting. All nine rings exploded at once, severely wounding the Qian Xunji, allowing him to take the child and escape.

The subsequent plot was basically the same.

Until Tang Hao, carrying the child in his arms, arrived at Saint Spirit Village and chose to live in seclusion there.

[After settling in Saint Spirit Village, Tang Hao prepared to name his son. He remembered that his wife, Ah Yin, was the third among the sworn siblings between himself and his elder brother.]

[Filled with sorrow, Tang Hao planned to name the child Tang San.]

[However, upon hearing that he was to be named Tang San, Tang Chuan immediately burst into loud wails, using his cries to express his resistance.]

White World, Shrek Academy.

Seeing this, Ning Rongrong couldn't help but laugh.

"Our Tang Chuan from the White World is indeed different!"

"He started resisting Tang Hao from the very moment he was named!"

"Exactly! Exactly!"

"The name Tang San sounds like it was chosen completely at random."

"In our village, no one would name their child 'One', 'Two', or 'Three'."

Facing his goddess, Oscar hurriedly chimed in to please her, expressing his agreement.

[However, Tang Hao didn't care at all about the loud cries of the son in his arms.]

[After tossing the child aside, Tang Hao picked up the wine he had just bought and gulped it down. He drank until he was dead drunk and then collapsed in the inner room to sleep.]

[As for his son Tang Chuan, Tang Hao had carelessly tossed him into a small cradle gifted by Old Jack.]

[In the blink of an eye, over a year passed.]

[During this year, Tang Chuan gradually grew up. However, because he was just a normal person who had been reincarnated, and Tang Hao spent every day drinking without any heart for raising him,]

[Tang Chuan's physical development was extremely poor. He was much smaller than other children his age, very thin, pale, and clearly malnourished.]

[To grow healthily, Tang Chuan had to stand on a small stool, painfully tip-toeing and holding a spatula taller than himself to struggle through cooking porridge.]

[This way, he could at least manage to have a few meals.]

[Otherwise, if Tang Hao got drunk and forgot to cook, he would have nothing to eat and would have to go hungry.]

[But because his body was too small and weak, while standing on the stool to cook, the stool tipped over several times, sending him crashing to the ground in immense pain.]

[Yet in the inner room, Tang Hao, dead drunk, snored like thunder and never once came to help Tang Chuan.]

[Every time, Tang Chuan could only rub his injuries with reddened eyes, enduring the pain as he stood back up to continue cooking.]

White World, Blue Silver Forest.

"Wuwu~"

"Xiao Chuan, my child!"

Although she knew Tang Chuan hadn't lived well in the past,

seeing with her own eyes the miserable life Tang Chuan led at Tang Hao's hands when he was little,

Ah Yin couldn't help but burst into tears, feeling as if her heart was breaking.

She had sacrificed herself for the child.

But who could have imagined that her husband, Tang Hao, would be such a failure as a father, completely neglecting the child and spending his days drinking, forcing the child to suffer so much.

To a mother, a child is a piece of her own flesh.

Seeing her child suffer so much, Ah Yin felt an agonizing heartache, weeping until she was utterly devastated.

At this moment, Ah Yin loathed Tang Hao to the core.

Tang Hao!

You hypocritical, shameless, and insidious villain! Not only did you plot to force me to Sacrifice myself, but you also mistreated my child so cruelly.

I will definitely kill you!

Far North.

The Snow Empress and Ice Empress sat atop an icy peak, watching the miserable childhood of Tang Chuan being broadcast on the comparison heavenly screen.

"This human named Tang Hao is truly wicked!"

"He doesn't deserve to be a father at all!"

Amidst the whistling, bone-chilling wind,

the Snow Empress, dressed in a magnificent snow-velvet gown with her long white hair fluttering in the wind, showed a trace of anger on her cold, holy, and nearly flawless face, feeling deeply indignant for Tang Chuan.

Although she didn't like humans,

she still felt compassion for human younglings.

"Exactly!"

The Ice Empress also nodded in agreement, filled with righteous indignation.

[Once Tang Chuan finally learned how to stand on the stool, tip-toe, and use the oversized spatula to cook porridge,]

[Tang Hao simply stopped doing any cooking or housework, dumping it all onto Tang Chuan.]

[In response, Tang Chuan just silently endured it. When he cooked, he would prepare a portion for Tang Hao, but he never called him 'father' in his daily life; the two lived like strangers under the same roof.]

[On the contrary, because Old Jack often helped him, Tang Chuan would frequently go to Old Jack's house to weed or plant vegetables, doing whatever he could as a way to repay him.]

[In Saint Spirit Village, when interacting with Old Jack and other villagers, Tang Chuan would always say his name was Tang Chuan, not Tang San.]

[Because the name Tang Chuan clearly sounded much better.]

[Thus, Old Jack and the other villagers all chose to call him by the name Tang Chuan.]

[However, one day on his way home from drinking, Tang Hao heard someone call out the name Tang Chuan. Feeling displeased, he coldly rebuked Tang Chuan upon returning home.]

["Your name is Tang San. I gave it to you. Who allowed you to tell Old Jack and the others that your name is Tang Chuan?"]

[Facing Tang Hao's rebuke, Tang Chuan said calmly, "I don't like the name Tang San. I want to be called Tang Chuan. I like the mountains and rivers. Is that not allowed?"]

[This made Tang Hao even more furious: "I am your father! The name I gave you is your name. I do not permit you to give yourself another name, do you understand?"]

["Father?" A hint of mockery appeared at the corner of Tang Chuan's mouth. "What kind of father neglects his child from infancy and, for the sake of drinking, dumps all the household chores onto a one-year-old? Does such a father exist in this world? I cannot choose who my father is, but I can choose my own name!"]

["Insolence!!" Tang Hao's eyes instantly turned bloodshot as he lost his composure. In a fit of rage, he slapped Tang Chuan to the ground.]

[But after Tang Chuan stood up, holding his red and swollen cheek, he merely gave Tang Hao a calm, cold look and silently walked out of the Blacksmith Shop.]

[Leaving only Tang Hao in the Blacksmith Shop, still roaring in fury, "Come back here! I am your father, you must obey me!!"]
