"Are they okay?" Ye Xinxia asked worriedly, glancing at the devastated foot of the mountain.
What she worried about was not the one thousand intermediate students, but whether the academy would hold Wang Feng accountable.
"Don't worry, they are fine. At most, they are a little embarrassed," Wang Feng smiled.
After throwing the shadow monster into the iron cage, Wang Feng glanced toward Dean Xiao, then led the three women back to the apartment.
Inside the apartment:
"Brother Wang Feng, you're so strong! How did you cultivate? You wiped out a thousand mid-level mages in one breath. That's amazing!" Ai Tutu hugged Wang Feng's arm, eyes sparkling with admiration, her tone full of excitement.
Mu Nujiao pretended not to care but couldn't hide her curiosity about Wang Feng's cultivation method.
"What? Are you trying to expose my secrets now?" Wang Feng smiled at Ai Tutu.
"No, I'm just curious. Tell me a little. I also want to be as good as Brother Wang Feng… Oh no, even one-tenth of him will be enough!" Ai Tutu said coquettishly, her voice soft and sweet.
Wang Feng was enjoying Ai Tutu's "massage," eyes half-closed, looking very comfortable.
"It's not wrong to reveal some of it… but there's no benefit in doing so. Why should I…" Wang Feng deliberately dragged out his tone.
Before he could finish, Ai Tutu quickly kissed him on the chin. Her cheeks flushed instantly, her eyes averted, and her voice stammered:
"Can you tell me now?"
Ye Xinxia blinked in surprise, then a subtle auntie-like smile appeared on her face. It seems the sea of suffering will be easier to navigate soon…
"Practice diligently!" Wang Feng pulled his arm free.
"Ah? That's it?" Ai Tutu pouted, obviously unsatisfied.
"What else? During your time here, have you practiced for more than 20 hours?" Wang Feng asked.
"But… but you don't have it either…" Ai Tutu tried to refute, but Wang Feng interrupted.
"I majored in healing. Ever since I could cast magic, I've been practicing diligently, exhausting my magic power daily. If you don't believe me, ask Xinxia."
Ai Tutu and Mu Nujiao looked at Ye Xinxia, who nodded proudly: "Yes, Brother Wang Feng has cured most people in Bo City over the past two years."
Ai Tutu was speechless.
Mu Nujiao realized the effectiveness of Wang Feng's training method but also its difficulty. Exhaustion of magic energy made the body hollowed out, and entering a meditative state in such a drowsy condition required great perseverance.
"Then…" Wang Feng teased Ai Tutu, "Bunny, the rest is a secret, only my wife knows~"
Ai Tutu was stunned, staring at Wang Feng's face with a hint of admiration.
"Okay, it's late. Go to bed early." Wang Feng interrupted and returned to his room.
Taking down Ai Tutu isn't a problem, but Mu Nujiao is trickier. She's reserved… perhaps I could use [Dream Weaving]? Wang Feng thought.
Early the next morning, Wang Feng finished his training.
"Hasn't it hatched yet?" He touched the green dragon egg in the corner of the bed. The egg trembled slightly, as if responding to him.
"Take your time. The most important thing is to make the pregnancy perfect," Wang Feng said, patting the egg and covering it with the quilt.
After washing up, he saw Mu Nujiao lying on a yoga mat, wearing a tight suit that accentuated her curves. She rose quickly as Wang Feng entered.
"Wang Feng, you're just in time. I have something for you!" Mu Nujiao handed him a bank card.
"Thank you for giving Tutu and me a place to train in the Three-Step Pagoda. Here are five million. Although it isn't enough to buy a place, I'll compensate you later," she said, blushing.
Wang Feng chuckled: "Jiaojiao, you know it's not enough to buy a place. Why so precise? Aren't we friends?"
"I… I don't want to owe you a favor," Mu Nujiao admitted softly.
"But if you spend money to buy a place, you still owe me a favor, right?" Wang Feng teased.
Mu Nujiao froze, then quickly kissed him, leaving Wang Feng stunned. Maybe I can start Dream Weaving tonight, he thought.
Two days later, in Dean Xiao's office:
"Dean, why call me here? Do the defeated students want compensation?" Wang Feng asked with a smile.
Dean Xiao shook his head, hands crossed on the table, eyes deep: "Wang Feng, you are a Water Talent, right?"
"What are you talking about? I'm just a high-level healing mage," Wang Feng said.
Dean Xiao studied him carefully: "I've covered for you. No one knows you caused the flash flood. Besides, Yu Mian is safe under my and Lao Fu's protection."
Wang Feng no longer concealed his curiosity: "Dean Xiao, why hide your cultivation of the three forbidden spells?"
Dean Xiao was shocked. No one had ever known he was a forbidden spell mage — yet Wang Feng knew.
After a pause, Dean Xiao spoke solemnly: "I would like to accept you as my disciple. Are you willing?"
