The milk tea had clearly been bought specifically for her.
Lina looked down at the cup resting in her hands, then glanced at Alexander from the corner of her eye.
The drink was still cool from the shop, and the familiar sweetness of the matcha milk tea lingered faintly in the air. She had mentioned liking it before, but she had never expected him to remember, much less stop somewhere and buy one for her while she was still at the television station.
Why had he gone out of his way to do that?
And after waiting for so long, why did he not seem irritated at all?
She had kept him waiting longer than she originally said she would. If their positions had been reversed, Lina knew she would probably have checked the time several times and wondered when the other person was finally going to finish.
Alexander had not complained once.
He had simply waited downstairs, handed her the milk tea and told her to get into the car.
