Discovering that she had a pretty face was a pleasant surprise for Lina, but beyond giving her something to admire in the mirror, it didn't seem particularly useful. She wasn't planning to seduce emperors, become a favored concubine, and rely on a man's affection to climb to the top. Her goal was to become an empress in her own right, and whether she succeeded would have very little to do with her appearance.
This wasn't some ridiculous drama in which a woman's beauty could magically charm an entire court, leaving ministers so infatuated that they would willingly devote themselves to her and help her conquer the world. If that were how things worked, perhaps she would have had a reason to celebrate her new face. Unfortunately, her looks were merely attractive, not the sort of legendary beauty that could make an entire kingdom lose its senses. She was better off concentrating on her abilities and keeping her expectations realistic.
