A fireball emerged.
From her palm. Large, orange, roaring. The stolen power of a man who had possessed flame abilities, the tattoo on her right hip blazing as the energy fired.
The boss burned.
The fireball hitting him in the chest, the flames engulfing him, his clothes igniting, his skin blackening. He screamed. A raw, horrible, animal sound that filled the warehouse and then cut off as his lungs filled with smoke.
