Because of recent conflicts, plans changed to move the cities to the military base overhead. 3 vampire ships had arrived.
Out in the field. Waiting in their collection of rows with the 3 classes. Vincent, Silver, and Kazz. Gen. Paul stepped up to the podium.
General Paul: Thank you, everyone, for joining me in this preparation now. I know you students here are a little confused about why you're not being escorted with the rest of the students preparing to migrate to Military Base 1. You will be the ones who will be heading to military base 1 via spaceship. Those who don't know these 3 here are actually faction leaders. And they have personally requested transporting all of you to military base directly under their supervision.
No, I know the vast majority of you all year are vampires. The few humans that are still not turned have exceptions granted to you based on your family or other reasons. Now please be aware that there have been a bit of scuffles between the families. I know that none of your families here have been involved with it. We are trying to keep the peace right now. But the 6 family has openly been attacking people, and we are trying to mitigate the problems. But please be aware of the conflicts that have started brewing. No official Civil War was going on at this time, and we would like to keep it that way.
As soon as he's done talking, everyone is instantly teleported up to the ships, making all the students feel a little bit unstable as they land in the ship's halls. A lot of them didn't realize that they were simply going to be teleported up into the cargo holds of these ships.
Quinn quickly walked over to Vincent. To ask
Quinn: How come so many of the students are aware of the vampires in these 3 classes?
Vincent: That's because most of the students have been replaced in the class. Many of them are either your friends or people who are aware of you and are loyal to the vampires, and others are many of the freshly turned, so there wouldn't be any issues.
It wasn't long before the ships began Moving Out, and the students could feel the shuddering of the ships, and then everything began to still. Within an hour, they had arrived at military base one, and they were simply teleported back down to the field. As soon as they arrived, they were standing still like statues in front of the students; there were 5 sergeants.
Stepping up to the podium was the supreme commander of the Earth-born faction, Oscar.
Oscar: Welcome, students. I hope that everyone here is ready for the upcoming events. I understand that a lot of you will be joining the competitions this year. This will be the largest number of first-years joining in competitions. We've never had this before. Please be respectful and follow the rules for these competitions. We will be monitoring any activities; refrain from fighting or causing commotions on the base. Any disruptions in this competition will be severely punished. We will have a 0 tolerance policy towards any trouble. You're all dismissed.
Quinn's group immediately takes off and heads towards the competition area to see what ones they were all going to be signed up for.
As the group sees what activities they have been signed up for couldn immediately seizes that. Not only that, he was signed up for the battle tournament. He was also signed up for a game called Block Block. Now that he's aware of those things that he would sign up for, it was time to figure out what this game called Block Block is.
As soon as. He headed off towards the area where he could find the game; trouble showed up.
Well, well, isn't it the Punisher boy and his gaggle of freaks? Well, how about we show you? Who's better at playing games and showing their true strength?
My friends and I would be more than happy to show you how superior we are in the sixth family.
Quinn visibly sighed to himself at this nonsense again.
Sil: Well, this was bound to happen again, but at least they're going to behave and actually just challenge you to a battle.
Immediately, 2nd-year students stepped in. Hey, now let's not have trouble here. You guys don't need to fight each other.
Layla. Hey, how about a reasonable thing? How about we solve this issue with a game? And since Quinn needs to do some practicing anyway, how about we try this block game for our challenge?
The 2nd-year students looked at each other and nodded their heads.
Well, that sounds pretty reasonable to me. I know a perfect area to do it. Such things are just around the corner over here. Also, my name is Sam.
Hello, everyone. My name's Nate, and I'll be more than happy to be the referee of this battle.
As one migrated around the corner and entered the place, Quinn eyes widened upon seeing the machine that he needed to encounter.
Sam: I'll explain how this machine operates. There are several levels to this machine at the start. Only the upper part will start moving as you go up in levels. More rings unlock and begin spinning around. There will be different points of the rings spinning in different directions or something. And may have multiple arms that are swinging at you, so be prepared to be blocking multiple things that command you at once. As you progress more and more, the rings will unlock. There are a total of 30 levels to this game. No one has ever managed to make it to level 30. That has been recorded.
Chromey: I hate to interrupt your entertainment, but as you can see, Quinn's group is having a little bit of a rough time, but he's going to easily accomplish and defeat the boys over there with their egos. They thought they could defeat him by simply outwitting him. But no, they tried to outsmart him still, but I will continue narrating the rest of this so as you can see, Quinn was easily able to show his skills and technique very quickly, but as the others were still struggling to compete, Quinn showed he was more than capable of being a pro. He easily reached level 15 on the machine.
Many of the other groups were getting ready for the competition and simply were having fun at the same time. But of course, this tournament is not as simple, quiet, and safe as you may think. In the background, a whole lot of enemies and threats from all over were gearing up. Pure had arrived and was planning to attack. As the competition started, things started getting interesting; the vampires thought that they had the advantage and simply could dominate over many of the competitors. Of course, many of the top factions were prepared for this; those who were on the council, the humans who were, were fully aware of how strong vampires are.
Knew how to take full advantage of it, many of them using ancient techniques, the ones techniques that were thought to be lost to time, the QI techniques that Leo, who is watching all these competitions, stood there, shocked by his own dojo and his master's teachings. We're not the only ones who knew how to do it; we would be amazed at the scene, being used so openly and so commonly amongst the top factions, the court. He could see the vampires; their aura was plain as day for him to see. But as such. That's how everything is supposed to proceed. As your guide through all these things, it's not as simple as you may think. Time is a very fickle thing; not everything will stay rooted. Things are altering day by day thanks to the Talen. And of course, there's not only one here, but 2, and he's following my orders. I'll catch you next time. Enjoy the show.
Up on top, towards the main area of the stadium,m in a special viewing box, the leaders of the world, all the faction leaders, staying right there, watching it with the President and Vice President and the First Lady watching as well. The sixth family leader. Seething with rage,e seeing his own students being beaten and battered so easily by these humans. Wondering, when did he learn some techniques? He was under the impression that many of the night techniques from the old era were gone. But now, seeing that they had all returned, he knew at least one thing he didn't have to worry about was magic. Many of the techniques of magic were unavailable for a long time. Magic has been sealed away from Earth. The human race has not been able to use any of it. He deemed this the best thing, because if the humans had magic again, he would be in serious trouble. And every last one of those students would be destroying the vampires left and right.
Going into the 2nd day, the fighting tournament began. Quintalan, using his shadow abilities at an incredible level and amazing amounts of skill, manifested his shadows in a way that has never been seen before, wiping out the competition quickly.
As the 3rd day of the tournament began, Quinn entered the competition for the block. game. Everyone looked at him with wide eyes. The person who made a video that has been going around, showing him devastating the machine from earlier, Oakhor's Quinn was not aware that he was so popular, but he was more than ready to show his skills off this time and push it all the way.
The tournament started, and Quinn quickly started going through the levels with no problems. The entire audience stood there, shocked, seeing such skills towards the end; everyone was trying to do their best to be in the game. Quinn, having put in much effort, completed the game. Far better than anyone else before, people started dropping out; with a mere 5 people remaining and Quinn already hitting level 15, it didn't take long. By the time he got to level 17, he was the only one left, and he kept going; the audience was there, riveted. Unbelievable how quickly he had progressed through the game. Mention the final dropout at level twenty.
Finally, the battle for the tournament, the fighting tournament,t will begin. As Quinn quickly finished his opponents, culminating in the greatest battle at the end, there stood one of the Gray Lances' students skilled in Chee. Art. An enlightening technique: Quinn with his shadow and skilled with different techniques. Of course, he doesn't know QI at this time, but you will eventually. And fighting such skilled opponents with just his shadow, even with how crazily strong it is. What proved to be difficult?
The match starts, and Quinn immediately summons his shadow and starts launching attacks with shadows, spears, and spikes shooting from different directions, trying to throw off the Lightning user's balance with bolts of Lightning being thrown in his direction; the kid immediately channels his QI into his Lightning. And pours a massive lightning barrage all around him, destroying a large amount of the shadow that Quinn was using. Quinn immediately reassesses the situation and tries to attack, eventually gaining the upper hand and sneaking a shuttle whip behind his opponent and striking him. Knocking him off, and with one powerful blow, he manages to throw his opponent off the arena, causing the large upset of the day, truly a battle of skill between these 2.
Owen up on the box chuckled to himself with his fan up. That boy is full of surprises. You train them well, Arthur, as he looked to his right.
Arthur: Of course, I train them. Well, we punishers take our techniques and abilities very seriously. I'm not just going to give Em partial training just because he's not part of my faction. I owe a lot to his parents. They were brave warriors, and I'm sorry they couldn't join my faction before they perished. I would have been more than happy to train them in the shadow.
At that exact moment, a massive explosion rocked the entire arena, startling everyone.
