Greetings, I am Chromey. I will be your narrator for this journey. Not everything is as clear as day. An unexpected enemy showed up on Earth and began attacking. The human race was not expecting to be invaded by an alien Military, but all forces across the world came forward to defend. Our main character's parents are out there in the battle. Quinn Tallan, the boy whose destiny is bigger than he can imagine, is only just a mere one year old, and his parents are out there fighting on the front lines of battle with others.
Can humans last long enough? And keep their lines intact with their might of military forces long enough before the reinforcements arrive?
Across the universe and another star system, the vampires who have been living separately from the humans for years detected a massive enemy Fleet heading towards Earth, and they mobilized to help out.
The humans at the time didn't know that there were other factions ready to come in and help as soon as Earth got attacked by a major threat. Of course, the humans had no idea about the vampires; even with them arriving, they had no idea who these factions were before now, except for one: they are called the Punishers.
At this point, at the start of the war, superhumans with abilities have started appearing and are helping out, enjoying the fight.
2 ladies are standing in front of the hordes of scarab demons. They knew that they were outnumbered, and they were the strongest ability users who had presented themselves; all the strongest families were still waiting to get permission. Luckily enough, they were able to hold the line with the weapon fire from overhead turrets and tank fire. And support from above as the vampire ships bombarded the surface.
Of course, a lot of the humans had no idea that the vampires were there, helping out; all they knew was they were new factions they were helping, and they were far stronger than most, and their abilities were truly unique of their own, but with the hordes of scarab demons. The most powerful Beast was now rolling out from the ships. It was making it difficult to push them back now. They needed that one bit of edge, but the strongest families were still being held back by the order of the blade family.
Further into the enemy lines, 2 men were fighting there against a massive scarab demon with 4 spikes on it, a truly terrifying creature, trying to fight it off with Oscar and Leo there, together, fighting it off the 2 men. Went in and restrained the creature, allowing Oscar to finish it off. Of course, the 2 who were holding the creature were severely injured in the process. Leo could do nothing; he spent too much energy trying to fight the creature and had nothing else to do, and just saw these 2 perish in front of him, unable to stop it.
Of course, this war didn't go unnoticed; the gods of this universe, known as celestials, were keeping an eye on everything. The one who was in charge of this Galaxy, the soul system, was nervous but had a device. She was still using that. She received it from the highest rank of the gods known as the ancient ones. She was using this technology to see what the future entailed, carefully moving her pawns into position and having things work in her favor, setting up plan after plan, making sure that any variable was covered. Of course, she was still having issues with an anomaly, but she had been aware of this anomaly for years. Known as the talent family, their presence in the time stream always seems to be fluctuating like time, wanting to yield to their will and no one else's. She had used the anomaly of the talent family. Before, in the past, a distant ancestor of Quinn's family. Name: Ray Talan. It gave her great benefits and allowed her to change time, but now things were difficult. She is crunching the numbers and making sure that the losses were not as bad as she had hoped they wouldn't be. Making sure the timestream flowed right where she wanted it to be. Rides heavily on life, making sure there are as many people or humans alive as possible, a condition of her power.
Bless, like any of the other celestials, has a condition requiring a certain effect or cause not of worship, but a condition that allows them to gain power from those who fill that condition. This is the power that the celestials rely on, not on faith. By simply having people do certain things, it could be a rather small thing or a large thing for her to use her power of future sight, even with its limited capability still needing to be powered up. And she needed as many lives as possible to stay alive.
Bliss, sitting in her special chamber she made with the device active in the machine, was trying to figure out a better way, but wasn't very happy with how everything was turning out. Of course, the enigma that surrounded Talan and his family was making it difficult, but she was still managing somehow. She hoped that her plans would bear fruit after all this.
Bliss knew that she needed to go ahead and start setting up her plans. She went ahead and discussed plans with the vampires and changed things up. She requested that the young boy Quintalan, who was supposed to inherit the 10th family ability, be given a shadow ability. She also asked for the heirs of the 13th family and the first family to join him in school. And, recommending all 3 of them, you'll be trained in the Punishers' training world before heading off to school.
The council began their discussions about this.
The 6 family, this is outrageous. How can you even suggest such a thing? This goes against all of our traditions, Your Majesty. We cannot just rely on listening to this God being to demand things from us. We are vampires; we deserve some respect.
4 family. We can't be seriously considering these notions; this seems to be absolutely silly and nonsensical. We would throw all of our traditions away so easily. We've already lost too much of what we are, and now we're willing to throw even more of it away.
3 family. This act is truly unjust and is completely biased towards the 10th family, and the punishers are simply ignoring everything and allowing this chaos to fester.
2 family. This is clearly a plot by the punishers and Arthur to work with this God to undermine our society.
The king raised his hand to halt the conversation.
The king. I understand your hesitation and fury about this, but this God that you keep disrespecting is the celestial who's in charge of our system. And it was thanks to her that we were able to grow and expand ourselves instead of being stuck with the same restrictions for ages. And it's thanks to her that we were guided in a way to unlock our potential technologies; we even got the blood substitute that removed the limitation that we had, and we even have our own star system to ourselves. Even if now humans are aware of us, it doesn't make any difference. It's thanks to this celestial. She has done massive amaza work, and it benefited vampire society, so if you want to continue disrespecting this being, I wouldn't be blaming her for erasing your entire family right now, so mind your tone.
The 6th family leader sat down, grumbling.
The 13th family stood up. Your Majesty, doesn't this seem a little bit odd? In all honesty, I'm worried that these changes and requests might cause the vampire society to be destroyed in some way.
Bless. If I wanted to destroy your society, I could design it way easier and a whole lot sooner. I see more benefits of you being here than anything else. Especially now that you are more aligned with me. Instead of the death god.
Arthur stood up. We need to stop squabbling over ancient rules and ways because a lot of them have changed. At 1 point, the mini, the restrictions are gone; disputes mean absolutely nothing. Now we have more subclasses than ever before available to ourselves. We have an unrestricted population that continuously grows without any issue, and it's all thanks to this celestial. So either we step up to the plate and show how capable vampires are, or we cower and fear in the dark. It was thanks to this celestial that we were informed about the invasion that hit Earth, and we were able to react in time. I understand that Minnie has concerns about this boy, but I owe a lot to that family, and I personally made sure that I rescued his parents. And gave them sanctuary for the time being on my planet. Despite my best efforts, they were convinced that they needed help out in the war, and I allowed them to head out ahead of the main fleets and help the humans directly on the front lines. I do not regret my decisions about this. I trusted that family, and I knew that they were willing to do anything to accomplish their goals. And I hope everyone in the families here respects that decision and stops being so petty.
Vincent. As I stood up. I am prepared to give my entire state and step down as leader of the 10th family to my heir, Quinn. I prepared everything necessary for this switch. I know it'll take some time. Quinn is ready to take on this responsibility. But I will make sure he is fully set up for taking on this responsibility. And I have a book ready for him that will guide him through the entire process.
Bliss. Oh yes, I have one more thing. I'd like to introduce an old friend to a lot of you and a close ally of mine, Ray.
Ray steps through the door. I'll catch you with him partially transformed, with his tail and dragon spikes and dragon wings still partially exposed.
Greetings, everyone. It's good to see everyone is doing alright and still alive. Not too many new faces here, but at least everyone is still chugging. Along
The king. I'm amazed that you decided to join us. Ray, you, the great red dragon, would actually join us for a conversation is rather rare. I know you're no longer the hero for the human race. And you have done quite a bit of help for us. The entire society, at times, I don't even know if we owe you any debts. But what can we do for you this time?
Ray. Ohh, no, not this time; sit and do any helping out for now. I'm mostly just the one who provides super information and a bit of cooperation, but I'm also here to protect my air Quinn and make sure that none of you get any brilliant ideas.
A few years later, a decision was made for the young Quinn to begin his training at age 14, the day he received his birthday. Arthur himself arrived at his house on The Punisher's whole world and escorted him to the training grounds.
Quinn Talen was told how to unlock the book and was allowed to gain an ability. He didn't understand, but was quickly brought to the Punisher's planet to be trained. With two others.
He was not aware that they were vampires, but soon, as the book opened for him, he gained a system. He found out that he was a vampire now. There were other vampires out there. Then he was given the ability. The shadow ability, which ruffled many of the vampire families.
To begin his training
