After an hour, I heard a rustling, an unusual rustling. I opened my eyes and saw nothing but darkness at first, but then I peered more closely into a corner. After a few seconds, I realized it. The noise and that strange smell we're clearly coming from this whole. I wanted to pull back, to reach safety. But I didn't move, not even a milimeter.

Could I really be afraid of this foul-smelling hole? ... Impossible!

Even thought i didn't want to believe it, feat held me paralyzed.

I didn't move. I just stared at that hole. Then i felt something, as if all the Air was being ripped from my lungs.

Was it feat, or something else?

I have always wondered what it feels like to be suffocated.

I yearned for the proximity that steals my breath, even as I recoiled from it. There is a hunger in me that wants to be overcome. I Imagine the pressure and feel my pulse falter. A part of me leans forward, while rest remains locked in place. I long for the confinement, yet i fear what it might awaken. The air feels safer, when its only scared in thought. I circle desire like a flame I do not want to touch. My chest thightens before anything Happens. I wonder who I would become if I stopped withdrawing. The mere thought makes my lungs stutter. I want to be held close, but not trapped within myself. Longing presses Harder than any Hand ever could. I fear I Like the loss of the breath more than the loss itself. So I hoverd, trembling, on the edge of surrender. I wanted the suffocating, was afraid of loving it. Yet it is so comforting. That is why i closes my eyes and accepted my end.

Suddenly I felt a warm hand on my shoulder, I opened my eyes. The room was illuminated. It has tiles, colorful tiles. Then I looked beneath me. There was a bed with blue to white bed sheets. They were warm. Then I turned my head to the left. A brown door. On the other side was a grey table. I decided to look behind me to see who had their hand on my shoulder the whole time. Just as I was about to turn my head back, I Heard a voice behind me.

»"So, do you still See those rotten holes?"« I knew exactly who was asking me this question. It was my older sister Aruka. She is nineteen, so about thirteen years older than me. Her appearance is just great: blue hair in a bun and pink eyes, and she always had this friendly smile.

»"Earth to Neshra... are You still there?"«

Only when she poked her index Finger against my shoulder did I notice that I hadn't answered the question yet.

»"Oh, no... you really don't have to worry."« i put on a reasuring smile.

Suddenly she held me in her arms.

»"Hey..., I know you just lied to me, but thats over now."«

I laid my head on her shoulder and so we slept together, tucked up in my bed.
