Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Yo

How's life? Good? That's wonderful to hear.

Everything is going well for me too! Thank you for asking.

Now that we've gotten the pleasantries out of the way, let's begin!

Start:

"This is your end, villain!" Edgeshot thundered before he delivered the finishing blow, expertly crafted to incapacitate without causing lasting harm. The impact echoed through the busy street as the rogue collapsed, unconscious, before the watching crowd.

And just like that, the air crackled with the energy of the mesmerized crowd, cheers erupting from every corner as cameras flashed, capturing the hero in his moment of triumph.

Edgeshot, always the embodiment of humility despite his towering reputation, acknowledged the crowd with a reserved nod, his posture poised yet approachable.

As the excitement buzzed, fans surged forward, a wave of adoration pressing in on Edgeshot. With grace that spoke of countless similar encounters, he navigated the sea of eager faces: smiling broadly for selfies, his expressive eyes twinkling behind his mask, and penning autographs on an assortment of items thrust toward him—shirts, notebooks, even the occasional exposed arm.

The scene was vibrant, filled with the innocent clamor of hero worship, a peaceful celebration of good triumphing over evil.

Nothing could go wrong in that moment.

Suddenly, without warning, the atmosphere shattered.

A deluge of bright pink paint descended from above, splattering Edgeshot and drenching the surrounding fans. The crowd's cheers turned to startled screams as the sticky, unexpected shower sent them reeling. Edgeshot, momentarily as drenched in confusion as he was in paint, blinked rapidly, his trained eyes scanning for the source amidst the chaos.

The crowd's initial shock turned to anger as they too began searching. Their upset voices grew louder, a cacophony of disbelief and irritation blending into the atmosphere. Laughter soon echoed from above, drawing all eyes upward.

And there, defying gravity with an unsettling ease, stood a masked figure, his presence on the wall as unnatural as the mocking laughter he projected.

The mask he adorned was…strange, a bright yellow banana head with sun glasses that covered everything. It…it just looked out of place when one looked below the neck to see a muscular yet lean physique adorned in black and gray.

In his arm, a paint gun, now recognized as the source of the pink deluge, was nestled securely there.

And connecting the dots, the crowd's confusion turned to realization, their expressions morphing into scowls and frowns. Shouts of indignation rose towards the figure, demanding explanations and justice.

Pointing dramatically at the masked figure, Edgeshot bellowed, rather gracefully for one who was shouting. "Who are you? Stop using your quirk immediately! And attacking civilians and a hero is unjustifiable!"

The laughter from the figure only intensified, his amusement palpable and chilling as it filled the square.

His response boomed over the crowd, his voice thick with defiance. "Stop using my quirk? Hmm?..." The figure pretended to think about it before shrugging carelessly. "I don't want to, I'll do whatever I want thank you very much. As for who I am? I am the new bane of heroes, horror taken physical form. I... am... Sukuna."

(Just finished rewatching JJK and I couldn't think of any villain name except for this, my bad lads.)

Edgeshot's stance hardened, his glare intensifying as he faced the so-called Sukuna. Understanding the need for space, the fans crowding the hero all backed far away at once, watching with rapt attention as the scene unfolded. "For your crimes against humanity, you deserve to be vanquished! Heroes will always stand against evildoers like yourself!"

Sukuna's response was a grin, broad and chilling, though obscured by his mask. His posture relaxed, almost casual, as if the confrontation were nothing more than a trivial game. "Oh, how heroic. But let's see if your justice can keep up with my chaos. Shall we dance, hero?"

The tension between them crackled like a live wire, the street a stage set for a showdown that would surely ripple through the annals of heroism and villainy. Civilians, now at a safe distance, watched with bated breath as the standoff unfolded, their fear mingled with a gripping anticipation for what would come next.

As the tension mounted on the street, Sukuna crouched low, his body taut like a coiled spring, eyes gleaming with mischief under his mask. The crowd held its breath, anticipating a violent escalation. Edgeshot mirrored Sukuna's stance, every muscle in his body prepared for the imminent attack.

But in a twist that no one expected, Sukuna suddenly spun around, his movement swift and fluid, and with a burst of uncanny speed, he sprinted in the opposite direction, his laughter echoing off the buildings. "Catch me if you can!"

His voice, infused with a taunting glee, carried loudly, resonating through the streets. The laughter that followed was so robust and vigorous that it seemed almost to shake the ground beneath their feet.

Edgeshot, momentarily stunned by the unexpected turn of events, quickly recovered his wits. With a determined look etched across his face, he called out, his voice booming and resolute. "I won't allow you to escape, dastardly villain!"

Without hesitation, the hero burst into action, his form blurring as he utilized his unique quirk to stretch and reshape, propelling himself forward in pursuit of the fleeing Sukuna. The crowd reacted instantly, their earlier unease transforming into a mix of cheers for Edgeshot's valor and outraged cries directed at the retreating figure of Sukuna.

How dare he run away after spray painting them pink!

And though he showed himself composed, even Edgeshot was in no way amused by the banana-masked villain and shared similar levels of bloodlust like that of the enraged civilian population.

He just hid it better.

The chase was on, drawing a vivid line through the cityscape as hero pursued villain through the winding streets. Edgeshot, renowned for his agility and strategic mind, navigated the urban terrain with precision, his eyes never losing sight of Sukuna.

For his part, Naruto, or rather Sukuna when in his villain persona, was actually enjoying the pursuit, looking back every so often to ensure Edgeshot was still on his trail, his laughter still spilling into the air, provoking and elusive.

His amusement and mirth only served to agitate the determined high-ranking hero who swore he would not lose sight of the menace.

But in the end..

Only time would tell if good would triumph over evil!

Time-skip: One hour later

Perched atop a gargoyle, the jagged features of the stone creature mirrored the wicked grin that spread across Naruto's face.

Still in his villain persona, the ex-shinobi was still relentless in his drive to create mayhem.

Escaping Edgeshot had been easier than he anticipated, a simple diversion in his grander scheme. Yet, the thrill of evasion did little to sate his hunger for greater chaos, for the palpable sense of power that came from outmaneuvering his opponents and watching them scramble in his wake.

He craved more—the exhilaration of disruption, the joy of seeing heroes humiliated and their plans unraveled.

And from his high vantage point, he found another hero who he could torment.

He watched everything down below, His eyes sparkled with a mischievous gleam as he scanned the bustling streets that surrounded his next target: Gang Orca, a formidable hero known for his strength and tactical prowess.

Even from his elevated position, not quite at the summit but high enough to survey his surroundings, Naruto had a clear view of the hero. Gang Orca was simply standing still, his formidable presence deterring anyone from the crowd to flock to him as he waited.

(For context, Gang Orca has recently took in a bunch of interns who are together with his sidekicks and he is them having them learn how to do hero patrol before reporting back to a higher up in the scene, in this case, him)

With a deep breath, Naruto rose to his full height, the wind tugging at his cloak, accentuating the sinister aura that clung to him.

He glanced down, measuring the distance, his mind calculating every possible outcome of what was about to unfold. Then, without a hint of hesitation, he leapt from the gargoyle, gravity eagerly pulling him towards the earth. He dove headfirst, the air whistling past him, his heart pounding with adrenaline and anticipation.

As he descended, the cityscape blurred into streaks of color and light, the wind screaming in his ears. This was what he lived for in this moment—the raw, unbridled freedom of flight, the imminent clash that awaited at his journey's end. It was a hunt in the truest sense, with the city as his forest and the heroes his prey.

Naruto timed his descent perfectly, angling his body to cut through the air with aerodynamic precision. As he neared the ground, he executed a flawless roll to absorb the impact, rising to his feet with the grace of a seasoned predator. The street around him erupted in chaos as civilians scattered, recognizing the threat too late.

Gang Orca, ever vigilant, turned just in time to see the masked figure of Naruto stabilize from his landing.

The hero's eyes narrowed, instantly recognizing a potential threat that lay before him. Yet, there was no fear in his gaze, only the calm resolve of a hero prepared to defend the innocent. "Everyone, get back." He firmly ordered.

"Time for the next hunt, Gang Orca. Ready to play?" Sukuna asked, his voice distorted by the mask which carried a chilling edge, a stark contrast to the playful undertone that belied the seriousness of his challenge.

Hardly intimidated, Gang Orca raised an unimpressed eyebrow before nearly exhaling tiredly. Children.

"I don't know what game you're playing, but it ends now. You're causing meaningless panic and endangering lives. Stand down." The current tenth-ranking hero ordered sternly before he softened his tone. "I will forget this ever happened if you stop young man. Be sensible with your choices, no one is invincible."

Though it may have not seemed like it, Gang Orca was a truly kind and humble soul.

His appearance, while terrifying, did not reflect of his treatment to others. As someone who was raised by a fine pair of parents, the hero had more than just a strong compass of principles, he also had a heart.

And it was because he had a heart that he was willing to forgive and forget rather than immediately apprehend the masked man who used his quirk publicly while assuming a threatening stance against him.

"That is rather kind of you." Sukuna admitted, feeling his respect for the man rising. But rising respect or not, Naruto had a reason for donning on the villain persona and he was gonna see that reason through. "But as the new King of Villains, I don't need mercy."

A dark grin crossed Naruto's visage, though unseen, as he could feel the ire of his opponent increasing.

"I see." Gang Orca showed no visible emotion, no sign, nothing.

And yet somehow, it could be sensed that the tension in the space had deepened.

The standoff now was immediate and intense, the air thick with anticipation. Civilians, caught in the sudden confrontation, held their breaths, their eyes wide with fascination and excitement.

Sukuna felt a surge of excitement course through him. This was going to be fun. "Tell me something hero… have you ever heard of a move called German Supplex?."

With maddening, almost instantaneous speed, Naruto faced the back of the giant Gang Orca, a wicked grin on his face as his arms wrapped around the midsection of the hero who was completely shocked by the sheer speed of his opponent.

Deciding that action could teach far better than words ever could.

Naruto resolved to teach the hero what a German Supplex was, through executing the move right on him of course.

WHAM!

Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Ingenium was in full motion, speeding toward the villains with a precision born of intense training and a firm resolve to protect the innocent.

However, in an unexpected twist of fate, he lost balance, slipping on an unseen obstacle on the pavement. "Wha!?" The hero's feet flew from under him, and he slid dramatically across the ground, his sleek suit scraping against the concrete. The bank robbers, momentarily taken aback by the hero's mishap, exchanged glances of bewildered amusement.

Just then, from around the corner, a figure emerged, walking nonchalantly towards the unfolding scene. Dressed in black and gray, with a mask that hid any discernible expression, the man approached with an easy stride, almost as if he was out for a leisurely stroll rather than approaching a crime scene.

"What a spectacular fall, my friend! But don't worry, the fun has just begun. Hello, everyone, I'm just passing through."

The villains, upon noticing the newcomer, instantly tensed, their previous amusement turning to caution. They gripped their stolen bags tighter, eyes narrowing under their masks.

"Who the heck are you? Some kind of hero come to play?" Bank Robber #1 barked aggressively, inwardly sweating bullets, as if they didn't have enough on their plate with frickin Ingenium on their ass.

Sukuna clutched his heart dramatically, "This is how you treat me? the man who saved you from mister speedy over there." He said while looking over to the now getting up hero. Sukuna shook his head in mock dismay as he turned to the pair of bank robbers. "The two of you could use a lesson in manners."

Before the robbers could respond, Naruto appeared between them.

And with a chop to the neck, both robbers were incapacitated, knocked out cold with efficient, almost casual precision. Naruto then sauntered over to the bag of money dropped on the side and picked it up.

The spoils of victory, and dipping his hand in, the shinobi pulled out a thick stack of cash. He turned his attention to Ingenium who was eying him warily. "Who are you? What do you want here?"

"The name's Sukuna, and I am the new King of Villains, nice to meet you Ingenium. Now I feel a little bad for stealing your victory so take this."

With a flick of his wrist, Sukuna tossed the stack of money towards Ingenium. The bills fluttered in the air, a provocative gesture that drew gasps from the civilians watching from a safe distance, many of whom were recording the entire incident on their phones.

"Take the money, hero. Consider it a donation to your cause, or a bribe, if you will. Just forget you saw me."

Ingenium's face hardened, his fists clenched at his sides as anger flared within him. The idea of accepting a bribe, especially in front of civilians, was abhorrent to him, against everything he stood for. "I don't accept bribes, and I certainly won't tolerate villainy. You've crossed a line, and I can't let you walk away."

With no further words, Ingenium bolted towards Sukuna, his engines roaring back to life, propelling him forward with renewed vigor. Sukuna, for his part, seemed almost amused by the hero's reaction, readying himself for the confrontation.

The clash between Ingenium and Sukuna escalated quickly from a straightforward pursuit to an outrageous display of one-upmanship. As Ingenium lunged with calculated strikes, driven by a burning sense of justice, Sukuna danced around him with a grace that was infuriatingly nonchalant.

Sidestepping the punch thrown by the calf-engine wielding hero, Naruto grasped Ingenium's arm and lifted him overhead before slamming him into the ground, causing the hero to gasp out in pain before Naruto kicked him away.

Then he reached into his coat and with a dramatic flourish, unsealed and unveiled a powerful item not ever capable of being in this world.

Literally as what he now wielded in his hand was something that's origin was tied to the elemental nation.

What he wielded… was a small… mystical octopus tentacle belonging to Gyuki.

Making a small mental reminder to thank the ox-octopus hybrid, Naruto laughed like a madman as he appeared right before the hero and at point blank range, aimed one of the suction holes of the tentacle at Ingenium and fired.

Being an octopus tentacle, instead of a projectile or a harmful beam, the support item spewed a torrent of thick, black squid ink directly at Ingenium's visor.

Caught off guard by the absurdity of the attack, Ingenium stumbled back, his vision completely obscured by the dark, viscous liquid that smeared across his helmet. He frantically tried to wipe it away, but the ink only smeared further, clouding his vision and causing him to swipe at the air blindly.

"What in the world—Sukuna! How dare you! You think this is funny!?"

In response to that, Sukuna only laughed more hysterically. "Oh, come on! Can't you see the humor in this? Oh wait, you can't see anything! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH" He laughed so hard that his ribs began to hurt.

Though only he seemed to find amusement in this, the rest of the civilian populace around them were horrified by the one-sided fight going on that wasn't favorable to the heroes.

Mehh.

Being a good sport, Naruto only backed away and simply eyed the hero with amusement, allowing a good moment to pass as his laughter began to die down. "If it helps, you're not the only hero I humiliated today, Gang Orca, Edgeshot, along with a few other heroes have suffered today at my hands, you are just one of many."

Evidently, that didn't help the struggling and currently blind hero with calming down. "Truly you are a vile villain who must be stopped! Do not think you have bested me, evildoer!"

Naruto barely quelled the urge to roll his eyes as he sealed the octopus tentacle. While it was funny at times, but it was also painstakingly cringe how dramatic the heroes were being with their manner of speech.

Still, he had to poke fun, and truth be told it was pretty hilarious seeing the guy stumble thanks to the tentacle that Gyuki gave him, God knows it wasn't easy convincing the miniature eight tails to help him there.

With Ingenium disoriented and floundering, Sukuna simply turned to the crowd, one hand still gripping the bag filled with cash, the other waving at the spectators recording him.

"Hello world, my name is Sukuna, the blight of hero society and the new King of Villains. Now… to assert my right to be villain king, I shall defeat, humiliate, and terrorize all heroes I will come across. You, the people, are not safe either. Prepare for the new age of chaos! MUAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAA!!!"

In the midst of the chaos, with the air still echoing Sukuna's menacing laughter, Ingenium managed to wipe the last of the squid ink from his visor. His vision blurry but resolute, he faced the direction of the villain's last known position. His voice, firm and filled with an unshakeable belief in his cause, broke through the cacophony of the startled crowd.

"No matter how deep the darkness, the light of justice will always prevail. Your reign of terror ends here, Sukuna!" Ingenium thundered as he bolted to the rapidly growing threat to Japanese society.

He bolted with such speed that he was but a blur to all that watched, but Sukuna, observing the hero's somewhat fast, but also predictable path, could barely suppress a derisive snort.

With a flicker of movement too quick for the eye to follow, he was suddenly beside the speeding Ingenium and before the hero could react, Sukuna delivered a swift, powerful blow to the side of his armored temple, knocking Ingenium to the ground, unconscious.

It took but a few seconds for everyone to comprehend what happened but when they did, the crowd gasped, their shock palpable as their defender fell, and without ever laying a scratch on the villain..

Standing over the fallen hero, Sukuna flashed a wicked grin, his eyes gleaming with triumph. He raised his arm, and with a dramatic flourish, he unsealed and unfurled an even larger giant octopus tentacle, its sheer size and otherworldly appearance stunning the onlookers.

It went without saying, but Gyuki wasn't exactly happy with him even as he gave him one of his larger tentacles willingly.

The tentacle, pulsating with a life of its own, towered over Naruto himself by several, several folds, reaching the size of half a building! Truly it was enormous, casting a monstrous shadow over the streets.

"Behold, mere mortals! As the new Villain King, no one is exempt from the grasp of my evil! My power knows no bounds, and today, you all witness its might!"

With a sinister chuckle, Sukuna manipulated the tentacle, directing it towards the crowd. Men, women, and children shrieked in terror, their initial curiosity turning into a frantic scramble for safety. The tentacle swung menacingly close, knocking over streetlights and signs, its suckers leaving a trail of destruction.

As panic reached a fever pitch, Sukuna raised his other arm and maneuvered the octopus limb

And with a maniacal glint in his eyes, he fired it into the air. Black ink, thick and copious, shot out from the tentacles, raining down on the populace like a dark storm. The ink splattered everywhere, coating buildings, streets, and fleeing civilians, plunging the area into chaos and darkness.

Amid the screams and confusion, Sukuna laughed louder, his voice booming over the din. The once bright day was now dimmed by the ink cloud, creating a scene straight out of a nightmare. "Run, scurry like the insects you are! The night has come early, and with it, the reign of Sukuna! The King of Villains! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAH"

Emergency services, sirens wailing, began to converge on the scene, but even they were hindered by the sudden darkness and slippery ink covering the roads. Heroes from nearby areas were also quick to respond, rushing towards the chaos, led by their duty to protect and serve.

Amidst all the dark that washed over, Sukuna disappeared, his laughter, loud, boisterous, and evil, echoing across the street and fading away.

A brutal reminder that on this day, evil had triumphed over good.

Time-skip: 24 hours later

The entire nation of Japan was plunged into turmoil as a new villain, dubbed Sukuna, made his explosive entrance onto the scene. In just twenty-four hours, he had shaken the very foundations of hero society, delivering shocking defeats to numerous heroes, including two of the top ten. The news of his audacious and relentless assaults spread like wildfire, dominating every channel and online platform.

Television screens across the country lit up with continuous coverage of Sukuna's rampages. News stations aired footage of the aftermath of his encounters, showing well-known heroes left in states of disarray and humiliation. One particularly vivid clip showed a hero, face contorted in shock and disgust, as Sukuna audaciously farted in his face before sauntering away, unscathed and laughing. Another segment displayed the chaos unleashed at a public event where Ingenium, in a desperate attempt to apprehend Sukuna, was doused liberally with squid ink, the black substance also splattering innocent bystanders, leading to panic and confusion.

These incidents were not just attacks; they were statements—brazen acts of defiance that mocked the capabilities and dignity of those sworn to protect society. Sukuna's tactics were wildly unpredictable and deeply embarrassing for the victims, leaving the public both horrified and morbidly fascinated by the spectacle.

The continuous stream of news coverage included expert analyses and panel discussions, where the conversation often centered on the unprecedented nature of Sukuna's villainy. Security analysts and hero experts dissected each incident, attempting to find patterns or weaknesses in his approach, but the overriding sentiment was one of bewilderment and concern. Never before had a villain managed to so thoroughly disrupt hero operations while also captivating and terrifying the public.

As the nation reeled from the ongoing crisis, the news also turned to the Hero Public Safety Commission (HPSC), which found itself under intense scrutiny. The HPSC, responsible for overseeing hero activities and maintaining public safety, faced significant embarrassment.

Interviews with HPSC officials showed them struggling to maintain their composure as they addressed the media. Their responses were measured but clearly conveyed the deep consternation the situation had caused. They promised swift and decisive action, assuring the public that plans were in place to capture Sukuna and restore order.

But even if they did managed to actually do as they had promised.

The fact was, the newly dubbed King of Villains, truly had embarrassed and mocked the heroes around him, doing what was thought to be impossible prior to when All Might had made his debut, and that was securing a victory on the side of chaos.

In the soft glow of her room, lit only by the flickering images from the television screen, Mirko, the current seventh-topped ranked hero, sat perched on the edge of her bed, her eyes fixed intently on the news broadcast. The room was quiet, save for the low murmur of the TV speakers, which spilled the chaotic news of Sukuna's latest exploits into the space around her.

Each segment showcased Sukuna's audacious challenges and the disarray of the heroes he encountered. As the footage rolled, showing heroes in various degrees of defeat and embarrassment, a spark lit up in Mirko's eyes. Far from feeling disheartened or fearful, she felt a surge of excitement pulse through her veins. Her leg bounced slightly, an unconscious display of her growing eagerness.

The scenes of chaos, the dismay of her colleagues, and the blatant mockery from Sukuna only fueled her desire to jump into the fray. She clenched her fists, feeling the familiar itch of adrenaline that always preceded a fight. This was not just another villain; this was a challenge that demanded her skills, her speed, and her strength.

Just remembering the past ten, twenty, make that thirty villains she had defeated and with such ease… made her growl. She needed a good brawl!

And it looks like she'll actually get to have one, finally

Grinned excitedly, Mirko slammed her fist into her palm, her eyes glinting with life. "Now we're talking."

End.

What a chapter!

My bad that it's a couple hundred words short, I do have a scene in mind that I want to add, but the problem is, it's too long to fit in this chapter.

That said, I hope you all enjoyed this, Naruto's villain debut, Sukuna, has begun!

And we should see some pretty exciting stuff happen from here!

Now that's all I have to say, take care lads!

Peace.
