Chapter 1: Meeting
A massive wall stood before them.
Forty feet tall.
Dark stone. Ancient runes carved deep into its surface.
Kers stared at it with shining eyes.
"So this is the Demon Kingdom?" he asked, unable to hide his excitement.
Ars stood beside him, his expression calm but serious.
"Yes. This is the Demon Kingdom," Ars replied.
"Remember—your only goal is to take the stone. Nothing else."
Kers nodded, his excitement fading into focus.
"Understood."
The next moment—
Both of them bent their knees and leaped.
In a single jump, they reached the top of the wall, landing silently before disappearing inside the kingdom.
At the very center of the Demon Kingdom stood a floating mansion.
A massive structure suspended in the air, surrounded by a garden that drifted as if gravity did not exist.
Elite guards stood before its grand gate, their presence sharp and alert.
From a distance, a woman with silver hair approached.
Ursula.
Without sparing the guards a glance, she walked straight inside the mansion.
The interior was luxurious.
Soft sofas lined the hall. Crystal lights glowed gently from above.
Ursula crossed her arms.
"Yura," she called out, irritation clear in her voice.
"Where are you?"
A moment later, footsteps echoed.
From the second floor, a man slowly walked down the stairs.
Black hair. Calm eyes. An expression full of boredom.
Yura had arrived.
"What is it?" he asked lazily.
Ursula clicked her tongue.
"A messenger from the Diamond Kingdom came."
Yura yawned.
"So? What did he say?"
"They are calling for a meeting. The Three Great Kingdoms."
Yura paused for a second.
"…Ah. Fine. When is it?"
"Now."
"Now?" Yura sighed.
"Alright."
Before Ursula could say anything else, another voice joined in.
"I'm coming too!"
Yuri stepped into the hall, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Yura glanced at her.
"Okay."
Moments later, two more figures appeared.
Riyu stepped forward respectfully.
"Lord Yura, may I accompany you?"
Zack crossed his arms.
"And me too."
Yura shook his head.
"No. Both of you will stay."
Riyu and Zack froze.
"…Why?"
"Because only two people are allowed in the meeting of the Three Great Kingdoms."
Their shoulders dropped.
"Understood," they said together, disappointment clear in their voices.
Soon, Yura, Yuri, and Ursula stood on the floating garden attached to the mansion.
Yura stretched his arms.
"Alright. We should get going."
Yuri nodded eagerly.
"Yes."
In the next instant—
Space distorted.
And Yura and Yuri vanished.
The world shifted.
They appeared before a massive meeting hall, far larger than any normal building.
Yura looked up at it.
"It's been a long time since I've seen this place," he said quietly.
Yuri smiled.
"You're right."
They walked inside.
The meeting room was vast.
Five grand chairs stood in a circle.
Two of them were already occupied.
Hyuri sat calmly, her posture dignified.
Beside her was Izuha, relaxed and smiling.
Yura scratched the back of his head.
"…Am I late?"
Izuha laughed.
"Not at all. We just came early."
Hyuri gestured toward the empty seats.
"Sit down. Let's begin."
Yura sat opposite Hyuri.
Yuri took the seat across from Izuha.
Yura leaned back, completely relaxed.
"So… why was this meeting called?"
Hyuri's expression turned serious.
"You are aware of the Black Organization, aren't you?"
Yura nodded, his laziness fading.
"Yes. A very dangerous organization."
Hyuri took a slow breath.
"They have unsealed the Dragon God."
Silence filled the room.
