Soon, Squirtle and the others finished another round of treatment. Icarus then took out a Japanese-style school uniform he had originally prepared for Luna and helped Sabrina put it on.
Considering Luna's exceptional figure, the uniform had been custom-made. If Luna wore it, her ample chest would probably be exposed, but on Sabrina, it fit quite normally.
It wasn't that Sabrina had a poor figure. Having personally seen it, Icarus estimated that she was probably around a C-cup, but that was still far from Luna's watermelon-like proportions.
Of course, Icarus was only doing this to secure some leverage, just in case.
While doing all of this, he had no distracting thoughts whatsoever. After all, who would be interested in a body covered in blood and wounds, especially when some of those wounds were already festering and giving off an unpleasant smell?
What surprised Icarus was that even after feeding her several bottles of Super Potion and several bottles of Full Restore, Sabrina still hadn't woken up. Her wounds had clearly begun healing, but she remained unconscious.
Her face was pale, and a painful expression lingered on her features.
Unable to understand what was happening, Icarus could only continue guarding her.
He had to wait until Sabrina regained consciousness and her injuries fully healed before moving her. Otherwise, excessive movement could cause her recovering bones to shift out of place, and he would have no way to deal with that.
"Oh, right. I should let Luna know I'm safe."
After sending his four Pokémon to continue gathering materials, Icarus remained beside Sabrina. Judging by the passage of time, it seemed that more than a day had already passed.
He suddenly remembered the instructions he had given Luna before.
To prevent his little maid from doing anything reckless, he immediately activated the mental imprint connected to her.
Although he couldn't transmit an actual message, it would at least let Luna know that he was still alive.
Meanwhile, in a hotel in Moonview Town, Luna was tearfully packing her belongings.
She had followed Team Rocket during their retreat down the mountain and encountered no obstacles along the way.
She knew that if she missed that opportunity, she might never get another chance to leave, so she had departed immediately instead of waiting for nightfall.
Of course, she had also left a message in the hollow tree, explaining the situation.
But another day had already passed, and Icarus still hadn't returned.
She feared that something terrible had happened to him and that she would ultimately be forced to return to her family. With that thought weighing on her heart, she silently packed her things.
"Ah!"
Suddenly, the imprint in her mind began to vibrate, causing a sharp headache. However, Luna's expression instantly turned joyful.
She understood immediately.
This was Icarus telling her that he was alive.
Since the slave imprint couldn't actively transmit messages, and normally took three days to disappear after the master's death, Luna had not been surprised that it still existed.
But now that it was reacting, it could only mean that Icarus was conscious and alive.
She immediately stopped packing.
Unfortunately, Mt. Moon was currently under lockdown, and the Pewter Gym was conducting a massive search operation throughout the area. There was no way for her to enter.
Otherwise, she would have rushed into the mountains to find him.
For now, she could only wait obediently at the hotel.
"Good. It seems Luna is safe as well."
Feeling the relief and happiness transmitted through the imprint, Icarus nodded and relaxed.
He would decide what to do next after Sabrina woke up.
The entire mountain was undoubtedly being searched right now, and as an Ordinary-level Trainer, he wasn't confident he could escape Mt. Moon alone.
Another half day passed.
The four Pokémon had already collected all valuable materials from the surrounding riverbed, including a completely intact large spatial backpack.
Using it, Icarus transferred all his important belongings into the intact backpack, while the other valuable items were stored inside the damaged large spatial backpack and the intact medium-sized one.
Even so, many things still couldn't fit, most notably the Pokémon corpses.
He could only keep the stronger ones for food and abandon the rest.
Weepinbell and the others also ate some of the Pokémon meat.
There was no other choice. Their normal food supplies had been lost.
Fortunately, the meat of these energy-rich Pokémon tasted quite good, and there was no harm in letting Weepinbell and the others eat it occasionally.
Although Sabrina's body had already recovered, her consciousness remained dormant.
The specially made spatial backpack containing the large Giant Lunatone fragments had been recovered, and the scattered fragments were also found.
It had to be said that the backpack truly lived up to its quality. Despite being caught in the blast of an Elite Four-level self-destruct, it remained completely intact. Only the zipper had been blown open.
As for the contents, Icarus remained surprisingly restrained.
Including the fragment he had already found, he only kept three fist-sized pieces for himself.
After all, he still needed Sabrina's help. Taking too much would be inappropriate.
Besides, it wouldn't make sense for Sabrina's backpack to contain almost nothing while he somehow possessed a large number of Giant Lunatone fragments.
That would simply be asking for trouble.
However, while Sabrina's body had fully recovered, her fair and flawless skin nearly caused Icarus to lose control while feeding her.
After all, the uniform he had prepared for Luna was slightly short, and Sabrina wasn't wearing anything underneath.
Naturally, this meant his phone now contained a fresh collection of photos and videos, all taken after her recovery.
The earlier images were far too gruesome to serve as useful leverage.
Without Sabrina's face visible, no one would believe that the blood-covered, heavily wounded figure had been her.
Now, however, things were completely different.
"Why isn't she waking up? And why does she look so pained? Could it be some kind of mental trauma?"
"Do I need to encourage her and help her mentally, like those vegetative-patient recovery stories from my previous life?"
After fastening the final button near the girl's chest, Icarus frowned as he looked at Sabrina's still-pained expression.
He genuinely had no idea what to do.
This method was something he had only ever seen on television in his previous life.
The most urgent task was waking Sabrina up. Otherwise, he doubted he could escape Mt. Moon at all.
Furthermore, he still needed Sabrina's help locating Airi and Stone.
As an Ordinary-level Trainer, he didn't dare venture out recklessly.
He had already determined that this underground river was merely a branch, meaning they were probably no longer within the main mountain range.
That was why the Pokémon attracted by the scent of blood hadn't been particularly strong.
It was also why he didn't want to move around carelessly.
The current situation was manageable. But if he wandered into some dangerous area by mistake, they would be finished.
His map of Mt. Moon had already been lost, and even if he still had it, he wouldn't know where they currently were.
"Forget it. I'll try anything."
After thinking it over for a while, Icarus realized he had no better ideas.
He had already tried splashing water on her face, and it had accomplished nothing.
So he carefully adjusted Sabrina into a seated position, leaning against a large rock, and began speaking to her.
"Sabrina, you're truly beautiful and incredibly charming."
"You're also amazingly powerful. You're practically a goddess."
"So I believe you'll definitely make it through this."
"And… it would be even better if I could become your friend."
"I just don't know whether someone like you would even consider someone like me…"
