Ergh!
Where am I?
Why can't I move my body?
He feels the uncomfortable on his whole body like something wrapping his body tightly. His still half asleep.
I guess I'm still dreaming, what a weird dream… My limbs are still intact right? Maybe I'll awake in few minutes. He struggles to move his body in this uncomfortable state.
Tick... tick... tick... tick...
Sigh, now what? The clock also wants to join me… The clicking sounds of clock plays as if it was the background music.
The clock keeps ticking, seconds after seconds, minutes after minutes. The infuriating noise of the clock makes his consciousness become clearer.
He tries to open his eyes in a mission to find the source for his discomfort. The blurry scene came to his vision like an out of focus camera lens. He blinked few times to adjust his eyes focus.
A white wall 10 feet away from him, a round black and white clock with long hand pointing at six and short hand pointing at twelve.
12:30 midnight, what a weird time to be awake… Trying to piece one by one of the information that he gets.
He tilts his head to the right. There's a brown leather armchair beside a round coffee table at the corner of the room. A plate of nicely-cut apple with 4 inch paring knife.
On the right side of the room there big bay window with day and night curtains on both sides. Huh, why do you need a padlock on a window? H saw the window locked.
He looks straight up, a ceiling with four downlight and no fan. But the coldness still runs through his body.
On the left side of the room, a door with glass frame on the upper side. Exposing the outside corridor of the room with dims and flickering light.
Wait, what are these machines besides my bed? What are these tubes and wire? He realized the condition he currently in.
A restraining jacket? Why would i need to strap on this things? He saw a straight jacket wrapping around his body.
Am I a mental illness patient? No, no, no, that's not right. I shouldn't be here.
The door slides open amidst the confusion he experienced. A figure in the nurse outfit step inside the room.
But what's more confusing is what his seeing right now. Its face lacked symmetry entirely, flesh appeared partially rotten, and it smelled faintly of decay.
Do I call her a nurse, or a Creature? He murmured internally while feeling the temperature dropped even further as the room were originally cold.
Patient #3821… you should be sleeping at this hour. Is everything alright? Its voice lingered after it stopped talking.
Y, yes.. Everything is fine. Just can't feel to close my eyes. He stuttered in fear while answering the nurse.
Then I'll come back with a medicine that will helps you sleep… The voice echo as he watch the nurse leaving the room.
Patient #3821? Wouldn't hospital use a patient name instead of number? So that they can give the right medication for the right patient. Anyway I need to get out from here before that Miss N comes back.
He scanned through the room while figuring out how to release himself from the restraints. Then his eyes lock toward the paring knife on the coffee table.
I can reach there in three rolls if i time correctly. One for me to get down this bed, one for me to get there and one for me to drop the knife from the table…
Badump!
Ergh, I didn't know that falling from bed would be this painful. He rolls towards the coffee table table from the bed with the soreness still lingered on his entire body.
After three successive rolls, he finally free from the restraints. He walks towards the door while deciding which direction should he runs for. He remembers correctly that Miss N comes from the right and goes to the left. So the medication room should be on the left side.
I don't want to come across Miss N on my way out from here.
B3-360, Patient #3821, was written on the footboard of the bed. So B3 should be block B level 3, 360 should be my room number and patient #3821 is me? So I have to go through 3 level to get out from here.
As he reach the door he peeks through the glass panel on the door. He saw room B3-361 opposite of his. He looks to the right where Miss N comes from, the extend as far as he eyes can see.
How long is this corridor, does it really have the end. He sighs while looking at an endless corridor.
But what shock him the most is what he saw on the left side of the room, where Miss N go to get the medication.
Damn it! Where in the world that Miss N go if my room is the last room here and there's a dead end…
