All the demons lords, true dragons… and me involved in this conversation had moved to Rimuru's office.
And Velzard was not happy about the fact that I had not mentioned her at all in being my plus one and forced me to lay on her lap as punishment.
"So you made a True dragon fall for you?" Rimuru said from his desk with admiration.
"It actually wasn't hard, she practically threw herself at me." I said smugly which caused Velzard to hit my forehead which caused me to chuckle, "Sorry."
"Can you two not flaunt your relationship in our faces. You are just the worst." Veldora complained from across us on the other couch.
Hearing his complaints, I tried to lift my head up and sit up straight but Velzard just pushed my head back down. When I looked up, Velzard glared at me although I could only see her eyes as the rest of her face was covered up by her big… personality… yes, personality.
"I tried Veldora but it seems that someone is very adamant about me staying like this." I said trying to sound sad but my happiness was very apparent.
Rimuru unable to take the public display of affection, decided to change the subject back to what he wanted to know, " Can we circle back, Simon? What did you mean that by I've paved some steps for you?"
"What I meant was that you already have a slightly favourable impression in the minds of most of the demon lords." I said while cuddling deeper into Velzard's lap.
"Please actually elaborate asshole." Rimuru was fed up was half assed answers and in his defense, I do only give half answers.
"Well firstly, I used my influence silently promote the nation of monsters in the west and gave the demon lord in in the holy nation of Lubelius a favourable impression of you, I gave a favourable impression of you to Guy Crimson and Leon Cromwell… and the demon lord Dino works for me…"
"… As for you, you've made friends with Milim and Ramiris and are in diplomatic relationship with Carrion. And due to the relationship between Milim and Frey, Frey probably also thinks highly of you. That means you have eight out of ten demons lords who will choose you."
"… And that's probably nine out of ten, although Dagruel doesn't have any impression of you, he detest Claymans methods and would most likely pick you over Clayman."
Everyone was stunned by my analysis but it did assure some of them alittle more but Ramiris realized something in what I said, " Wait! Dino works for you?"
" Yes, I thought that was obvious news. Dino declared his loyalty to me awhile ago." I stated flatly.
Everyone was astounded that I had gotten a demon lord to work so readily for me. Although Dino seemed like the most likely to do that if it meant he could get free food and a comfortable bed.
" Let me guess, you're letting him freeload off of you and he's just taking your kindness for granted." Ramiris stated with mild annoyance.
Simon: " No not really. He was like that at the start but now he's become much more diligent and enthusiastic about he's job. He works as a genetic researcher under Nyx."
Ramiris wasn't impressed with my decision, " Nyx? Aren't you worried that your daughter will be too nice?"
Although evens Velzard had too defend Nyx and Dino, "You'd think that but Nyx is quite strict and vicious when it comes to her employees. And Dino, despite his lethargic nature, he's got quite the good work ethic."
" Oh that's… surprising." The room quickly decended into an awkward silence, well awkward to Rimuru as he had more questions but seeing that none of them had any concerns pertaining to the upcoming Walpurgis, he just let it go.
Before leaving the office, Rimuru signaled to me to come talk with him in private.

We were sitting in patio outside drinking tea and Rimuru addressed me with concern, " Be honest, what do you know the Milim and Carrion situation? And don't act dumb."
I looked at Rimuru with amusement, " How would I know what's happening, it's not like I was there that would cause me to be involved."
Rimuru just sighed because he didn't know of a way to force information out of me. It's not like he could fight me, he wasn't evens stronger then Veldora and frankly, he had a feeling that I was either equivalent or stronger than Veldora.
I saw his frustrated expression and felt bad, " Fine then, I don't want to spoil anything but I can assure you that both Milim and Carrion are completely fine."
Rimuru visibly relaxed at that confirmation. Now that he knew that Carrion was alive, he was quite happy with that but he still needed to know the specifics about Milim's to fully let go of his stress.
Reading that there was still nervousness on his face which I could easily tell the source of, "If you wondering what's going on with Milim then let me just say that both Milim and Frey are only pretending to play along with Claymans immature schemes."
Rimuru's expression froze when he heard this, "Question, how the hell do you know all this?"
"I have the most powerful intelligence network in the world aswell as the most powerful intelligence gathering weapon and skill in the world, what do you think?" I said to Rimuru matter of factly.
Rimuru, despite questioning me was now completely relaxed and could now lay his head on the table. Infact, I had seriously underestimated his concern because Rimuru immediately went to sleep.
I got up walked over and draped a blanket over his form, "Rest for now Rimuru, I'll deal with all the stuff."
With that last declaration, I teleported away with a couple stuff I had in mind.
