I walked into the meeting room where I have always spent the most time with Guy… aside from the training grounds.
I meet Guy there who was already sitting down and… oh my word, "Is Velzard baking custard danish… WITHOUT ME!"
My scream rang out as Guy took note of my existence and watched as I fell to my knees in despair and began crying immediately.
Velzard came in wearing an apron and oven mitts and carrying a tray of evens more custard danish, she looked at the scene Infront of her with confusion, "Did I miss something?"
Guy just shrugged his shoulders in confusion. Velzard set the tray down and approached me, she set her hand on my shoulder which made me whip my head up to her.
She saw as my bloodshot eyes filled with betrayal and my frown that showed how upset I was, "How could you… make pastries without me here?"
Both Guy and Velzard looked dumbfounded and then Guy had a mischievous smile, "Actually, Velzard wanted me try it so that she could make for you the finished product when it's perfect."
"Guy, SHUT UP!" Velzard shouted at Guy well blushing.
Seeing the dragons flustered reaction, Guy finally realized the truth, "Wait, is that actually the truth?"
"I said shut u- AH!" Velzard froze when she felt hands wrap around her from behind and my face rubbing against hers in a very cat-like fashion.
"Awe, I love you so much Zarry. I didn't know you did it for me." I said in a childish spoiled tone.
Velzard felt the warmth of my skin, the heat of my breath against her ear and the comfort and security of being in my arms and couldn't hold herself together, "Well I-I wanted to do… to do something nice so I thought maybe…"
Seeing Velzard's adorable stammering and couldn't help but rub up against her evens more, I began pressing myself against her evens more which caused Velzard's mind to begin growing fuzzy and on the verge of fainting.
Unfortunately for us, we weren't the only ones in the room, "Can you two please stop! Do you know how infuriating it is to watch you two do this crap!" Guy shouted full of animosity and envy.
"Oh sorry." I let go of Velzard, causing her to let out a small whine of disappointment, and sat down across from Guy while taking a custard danish.
" So what did you want to talk about?"
Guy didn't hesitate and went straight to the point, "In a few days, we will be having Walpurgis and I want it to be hosted here."
Simon: "When you mean here, you mean Eden and not the frost palace."
"Of course I mean Eden. More specifically, the Astral Clocktower. I want you to host it and make a space for the meeting to exist in."
Although I knew that he was demanding everything from me, he knew I wouldn't refuse, " So Clayman decided to finally set his cards out on the table?"
Velzard and Guy were surprised by my deductions, although after they thought about it, they realized that it's not so surprising.
After I indirectly accepted the request, A visitor stepped into the room, the platinum saber himself, Leon Cromwell.
Despite his emotionless exterior, even he was very well impressed by looks of Eden, this combination of modern technology and natural landscape was simply just impressive.
Leon sat down at the table, " Well hello there. You know despite my reservations about you Simon, this realm is truly an incredible achievement."
I replied very sarcastically to his words, " Was that a compliment from THE Leon Cromwell?"
Leon just ignored my teasing and directed his attention to Guy, "What is it that you wanted from me?"
Guy: "I want you to attend this Walpurgis. There are a few interesting developments that has occured."
"Yes, I've heard, this Rimuru fellow. He supposedly released Veldora correct?"
Hearing that name comes out of Leon's mouth made Velzard remember something, "Wait a second, Simon didn't you mention a Rimuru before?" She said while taking her place in my lap.
"Yeah, Rimuru is my friend."
Guy: " How long have you guys been friends for?"
" About two years and I'm… partially responsible for him becoming a demon lord." I said in a hesitant voice.
Leon: " What can you tell us about Rimuru?"
Simon: " What do you want to know?"
Velzard: " What is his relationship with Veldora and is he peaceful?"
Simon: " Veldora and Rimuru are friends and I doubt he would force Veldora out onto the battlefield, I think he's just using his status of the evil dragon as a deterrent against the western nation…"
"…As for whether he is peaceful or not well I can say for certain there is no one more peaceful the him. He ain't no pushover but he'd prefer to resolve issues more peacefully and diplomatically. I think he would very much like to meet you."
Leon was confused, "Is he like a fan of me?"
Simon: "No, quite the opposite. He has a vendetta against you. He's not happy with the treatment you put Shizu through and he doesn't approve of you method of transmigrating kids to this world."
Leon: " Well that makes a lot of sense now. Rimuru used his status as demon lord to completely destroy the use of otherworld summoning, so now my project has to permanently be put on hold."
Guy looked surprised, " So now you have to permanently stop but you don't seem to care so much."
" Well that's because there's a better method to this afterall." Leon then turned to me, " Simon, you are capable of traveling and surveying different worlds and so I am willing to give you anything if it means you can find a certain person for me."
Hearing his request, I already knew what it was that he wanted, " Oh how I would love to help you Leon but let me ask you this…"
I revealed a knowing smile, "…Are you so sure that the person you're looking for hasn't already been summoned to this world?"
