The conference convened by Amanda and Hermione successfully made factories and enterprises across the country understand their determination to support the common people.
It also made them see a mountain standing before them for the next hundred years; in just one night, the atmosphere across the country shifted dramatically.
At the conference, Amanda and Hermione directly imprisoned all the senior management of the factory they had investigated in front of everyone, and the relevant local departments were completely overhauled from top to bottom.
Except for the lowest-level employees, almost no one was spared.
Following their thunderous actions, the common people across the country once again started discussing it on the internet.
However, regardless of how they discussed it, Amanda and Hermione, who were at Hogwarts, could not know about it.
Standing in the Potion Class classroom with her potions book, looking at the steaming cauldron in front, Amanda tilted her head slightly to listen to the whisper Hermione leaned in to say.
"Guess when Harry and Ron will be chased over by Professor McGonagall?"
"Immediately, it won't be more than five minutes after class starts anyway."
"I think so too."
"Mr. Potter, please come over." In a corridor at Hogwarts, Professor McGonagall felt a headache coming on as she watched Harry and Ron grinning foolishly at some younger students.
Suddenly called out, Harry was stunned for a moment and quickly ran through what he had done in the past few days in his mind, but after thinking it over, he didn't find that he had done anything wrong.
It had only been three days since the start of school, and he hadn't committed any errors yet; why would Professor McGonagall want to find him?
Although he was nervous, he had to go since Professor McGonagall called him.
Walking slowly to Professor McGonagall, Harry looked at her like a well-behaved child.
"Good morning, Professor McGonagall."
"Good morning, Mr. Potter," Professor McGonagall nodded slightly, "Why aren't you going to Potion Class? I remember your previous ambition was to be an Auror; has your ambition changed?"
"Of course not, Professor McGonagall, but I remember very clearly that only those who get an Outstanding on the O.W.L.s Exam can choose the advanced Potion Class."
"That was Professor Snape's requirement," Professor McGonagall said, "but Professor Slughorn is very happy to welcome Young Wizards who got an Exceeds Expectations on the O.W.L.s Exam into his advanced class."
"So, if you still want to be an Auror, go to class."
As Professor McGonagall spoke, she gently waved her wand, and Harry's schedule flew out of his pants pocket, automatically adding the name of the Potion Class.
"Oh, of course." Harry nodded hurriedly and reached out to catch his schedule.
Taking a glance at the schedule before putting it back in his pocket, Harry turned around and prepared to leave, but Professor McGonagall called him back first.
"Wait, Mr. Potter," after Harry turned his head to look at her, Professor McGonagall gestured towards Ron, "Take Mr. Weasley with you; don't let him get too smug."
Seeing him standing in the corner grinning foolishly at the younger students, Merlin, it was hard to believe she had been teaching him for nearly six years.
"Alright, Professor McGonagall."
Harry nodded obediently, walked back to the corner to pull Ron along, and the two hurried towards the Potion Class classroom.
At the exact moment the bell rang, Amanda and Hermione watched Harry and Ron rush to the classroom door.
"Sorry, Professor, we're late."
Harry stood at the door panting for a moment, and after catching his breath, he said to Professor Slughorn.
"It's alright, Harry, my boy. I was just wondering if you weren't coming to class. Please come in and find a seat."
"Alright, thank you, Professor. But Ron and I, we don't have books," Harry said, gesturing to himself and Ron, "We, we thought we didn't have a chance to take the advanced Potion Class."
"It's alright, Harry, it's alright," Professor Slughorn smiled and shook his head, pointing to the cabinet in the back, "There are books in there; you can just go get one."
"Alright, thank you, Professor."
Harry nodded politely and walked over with Ron to open the cabinet, where one new and one old book appeared before them.
Without hesitation, both boys started fighting for the new one. Watching the two "sparring" in front of the cabinet, Hermione pursed her lips and spoke in a helpless, low voice.
"Are they practicing some kind of arm dance?"
Amanda tilted her head. Arm dance? What kind of magical dance was that?
How come she had never even heard of it?
Focusing her gaze on Harry and Ron, Amanda instantly saw the two books exposed through the gap between their bodies.
One looked like a brand-new potions book, and the other was a tattered potions book with its cover falling apart.
So Harry and Ron were, fighting over books?
Smiling and shaking her head, Amanda watched them calmly, waiting to see who would win.
After a series of struggles, Ron finally won, and he successfully got the almost brand-new potions book.
Harry hit Ron with the book in his hand, and Ron shook the potions book in his hand at him with a grin.
"Merlin, they haven't grown up at all." Hermione complained, but the smile on her face didn't fade at all.
If possible, who wouldn't want to maintain such innocence, such happiness, and never grow up?
Waiting until Harry and Ron were all seated, Professor Slughorn officially started the class.
He first opened the cauldron closest to him.
The moment he opened the cauldron, a thick scent of Hermione instantly flooded into Amanda's nasal cavity.
Love Potion, a name quickly popped into Amanda's mind. Being able to make people smell their favorite scent, this was clearly a Love Potion.
A type of Potion that could be said to be very dangerous. As long as one person gives it to another, it can make the person who takes it obsessively fall in love with the person who gave them the Love Potion.
However, this infatuation is not from the heart but based on the Potion. Therefore, this infatuation will not only present a crazy, pathological state, but after the Potion's effect ends, the person who took it will often develop a deep disgust or even hatred for the person who gave them the Potion.
However, if this Potion is used for people who are in love, as a little bit of fun between them, and the dosage is precisely mastered... well, it does have the effect of making emotional life more harmonious.
It could be said to be a double-edged sword Potion, Amanda defined the Love Potion in her mind.
Potions and Charms themselves have no distinction between good and evil; the only real difference is the people who use them.
Professor Slughorn looked around at all the Young Wizards present; almost everyone was sniffing the scent they liked most in the air with intoxicated faces.
Relatively speaking, the calmest ones were Amanda and Hermione, because the person they liked most was right beside them, and they were in love and had entrusted their hearts to each other. In such a situation, what use could a Potion like a Love Potion, which can only simulate a scent, have?
It could only serve as a seasoning in the emotional life of the two.
"Alright," Professor Slughorn clapped his hands, waking all the Young Wizards present from their intoxicated state, "Now, who can tell me what this Potion is?"
Amanda and Hermione raised their right hands at the same time. When it came to answering questions in class for extra points, the two of them never yielded to each other.
"Then, Miss Granger." Professor Slughorn smiled and signaled for Hermione to answer the question.
"This is a Love Potion, Professor." Hermione said the answer without hesitation.
"Very good, absolutely correct. Five points to Gryffindor. Now, can you tell me why you judged it to be a Love Potion?"
"That's simple, Professor," Hermione nodded, "First, this cauldron of Potion is the typical color of a Love Potion, pink. Secondly, it made me smell the scent I love the most, Amanda's scent."
Hermione said, turning her head to look at Amanda, hooking the corners of her lips and smiling sweetly.
Amanda felt a tightness in her heart looking at Hermione's smile, and a tingling feeling spread throughout her body.
Unfortunately, it was class time now, not really suitable for kissing Hermione.
"Oh, a very excellent explanation," Professor Slughorn gave Hermione a thumbs up, "Absolutely correct. Two more points to Gryffindor. Come, come forward, Miss Granger."
Hermione walked forward with some confusion, not quite understanding what Professor Slughorn wanted her to do.
Reaching out to pick up a small Potion bottle nearby, Professor Slughorn ladled a small amount from the cauldron and handed it to Hermione.
"A perfect seasoning for emotional life, Miss Granger, it can make two people more passionate, but please pay attention to the dosage; one drop at a time is enough."
Professor Slughorn said with a smile, "Of course, I think you actually don't need my reminder."
"Thank you, Professor," Hermione took the Potion with both hands and thanked Professor Slughorn politely, "We will use it cautiously."
"Of course, if other students need it," Professor Slughorn looked up at the crowd of Young Wizards in the classroom, "You can also come to me after class to get it, provided that you bring your significant other with you."
"I don't want to see anyone hating each other because of a Love Potion."
Professor Slughorn spread his hands as he spoke, and then began to vividly tell a story he knew about two people who became enemies because of a Love Potion.
By both telling the Young Wizards the correct usage of the Love Potion and warning them of its dangers, Amanda nodded secretly as she listened to Professor Slughorn's narration.
This Professor Slughorn was indeed very good at teaching; it was clear he was very experienced.
As for whether giving Love Potions to students would cause major problems... well, it could only be said that Fred and George were also selling that stuff, and a large part of the target customers were students at Hogwarts.
As Young Wizards, the dangers of a Love Potion were common knowledge. If they didn't even have that little bit of discernment, then they really were giant babies.
So for this kind of thing, the Professors in the school prohibited it on the surface, but in reality, as long as it wasn't used for evil, it didn't really matter that much.
After all, as Professors, they didn't need to worry too much about what couples wanted to do.
After finishing talking about the dangers of the Love Potion, Professor Slughorn was not in a hurry to let the Young Wizards start making the Potion they were going to learn today, but opened the smallest cauldron in front of him, which was churning with a golden Potion.
Felix Felicis, Amanda confirmed the "identity" of this Potion at a glance. This was a Potion that could bring good luck.
So many people flocked to it, but in reality, this Potion was not as omnipotent as people imagined.
All it could do was amplify the probability of a person succeeding at something, giving them the feeling of becoming lucky.
But if this person had not made any effort towards this matter beforehand, for example, if someone wanted to enter the Quidditch team, but couldn't even ride a flying broomstick before that, then even if they drank a whole cauldron of Felix Felicis, it would have no effect.
And if you drink too much of this Potion, there are significant side effects.
"This is a type of Potion that people flock to and are obsessed with."
Professor Slughorn said while slowly ladling out a small bottle and placing it to the side.
"But at the same time, it shouldn't be drunk too much. So who can tell us what Potion this is?"
Similarly, Amanda and Hermione raised their hands at the same time, and Professor Slughorn smiled and nodded at Amanda.
"Very good, Miss Amanda."
"This is Felix Felicis," Amanda stood up to answer, "It can bring good luck."
"Exactly," Professor Slughorn clapped, "Five points to Ravenclaw, please sit down."
"Felix Felicis, Felix Felicis..." Professor Slughorn picked up the small bottle in his hand and looked at it carefully against the light of the oil lamp, "I drank it once when I was young, and that whole day was truly incredibly lucky."
He smiled as if reminiscing, and at the same time placed the small bottle of Felix Felicis on the table, "This small bottle of Felix Felicis can bring a person twenty-four hours of good luck. This will be the reward for the first person to finish the Potion in this class."
Seeing the emotions of the Young Wizards being stirred up, Professor Slughorn immediately began to explain the Potion that needed to be made in this class. After a brief explanation, he signaled for the students to start.
Amanda turned to face the cauldron and began to operate according to the steps in the book unhurriedly. Hermione stood beside her, making the Potion leisurely as well.
The production of this Potion was not difficult for them; as early as the summer vacation, they had finished previewing all the subjects for this school year in their spare time from work.
Adding the Potion to the cauldron at the right time, Amanda's peripheral vision swept over Harry's direction, and she raised her eyebrows.
Harry's method of operation did not seem to be the one written in the book, but the effect was indeed better. She concluded this after simulating it in her mind.
Harry himself definitely couldn't make such modifications. Although it might not be appropriate to say so, Harry really had almost no talent in Potions, and he shouldn't be able to improve the operation method in the book.
So, Amanda's gaze fixed on the potions book beside Harry's hand. Was there something written in that tattered potions book?
