After giving Grawp a lesson to remember, everything else followed naturally.
Amanda, Hermione, and the others taught Grawp how to say hello and greet people in English.
They also taught Grawp that he shouldn't initiate physical contact with humans, though he should unhesitatingly fight back if he were attacked.
After the "lesson" Amanda gave him, Grawp learned these things very quickly. His attitude was genuinely cooperative, fearing that a single mistake might provoke Amanda and lead to another beating with a tree trunk.
For the next few days, Amanda and the other three spent their time feeding Grawp and teaching him English and etiquette.
Of course, none of them forgot to review for the O.W.L.s Exam.
Well, actually, they couldn't forget even if they wanted to; the Professors had begun frequently mentioning the O.W.L.s Exam in class and were personally leading the Young Wizards through review.
Everyone's homework load had also seen a slight increase—well, just a tiny bit of an increase.
At least in the eyes of Amanda and Hermione, this tiny increase could be ignored entirely.
Amidst the slightly tense atmosphere of the Hogwarts students, the O.W.L.s Exam arrived as scheduled.
Examiners from the Ministry of Magic arrived at Hogwarts, and the fifth-year Young Wizards inevitably fell into a state of nervousness.
However, they didn't know that those currently feeling nervous weren't just them.
The examiners who came from the Ministry of Magic were, one might say, even more nervous than the students. After all, their own Minister was at Hogwarts, and they had to grade their own Minister; who wouldn't be nervous?
Of course, nervousness aside, an exam is an exam. It was impossible to go easy on the Minister, and besides, Hermione didn't need them to go easy on her.
As the O.W.L.s Exams for each subject passed, Amanda and Hermione navigated them like fish in water, finding them incredibly easy.
Harry and Ron also found the exams easy thanks to the review notebooks Amanda had given them earlier, as if they had mastered the answers in advance.
There wasn't a single question they couldn't answer, nor a single practical operation they couldn't perform.
Finally, as the O.W.L.s Exam drew to a complete close, the fifth-year students, including Amanda, relaxed completely.
Hermione glanced at Amanda beside her and smiled as she reached out to stroke her cheek.
"It's rare to see you resting. If this were before, you'd definitely be previewing the sixth-year content without stopping."
Amanda instinctively nuzzled Hermione's palm, her voice carrying a hint of laziness. "I finished previewing and completely mastered the sixth-year content long ago."
"The same goes for the seventh-year content, so I think I should take a good rest instead of continuing to study ahead."
"Merlin, it's so good that you think that way!"
Hermione exclaimed, leaning down to give Amanda a firm kiss on the cheek.
At the same time, a younger student from their house, the lover of Senior Penelope, Luna, happened to walk into the Ravenclaw Common Room from outside.
"Senior Lin Yue, Senior Granger, Headmaster Dumbledore has asked you to go to his office. That's what he said when I ran into him outside just now."
"Headmaster Dumbledore?" Hermione wondered. Although she didn't understand why Headmaster Dumbledore would want to see her and Amanda, she still nodded in affirmation, considering it was the Headmaster's word.
"Alright, we understand. We'll head over now."
With that, she and Amanda stood up together and quickly walked out of the Ravenclaw Common Room.
As they passed Luna, Amanda nodded to her. "Thank you, Junior Luna."
"You're welcome." Luna shook her head with a vacant expression, watching the two girls walk out of the Ravenclaw Common Room.
"I wonder what Headmaster Dumbledore wants us for."
Hermione looked at Amanda with some uncertainty. "Could it be about the O.W.L.s Exam?"
Having been summoned by the Headmaster right after the exams, Hermione naturally worried if there was a problem with her tests.
"No," Amanda shook her head decisively. "Neither Hermione nor I would fail an exam."
"So Headmaster Dumbledore must be looking for us for something else."
"But as for what it is specifically, it's impossible to judge because there's too little information available."
"Alright."
Together, they arrived before the gargoyle of the Headmaster's Office. The gargoyle cooperated perfectly, moving aside to reveal the spiral staircase hidden behind it.
Amanda and Hermione walked up together as the spiral staircase slowly carried them upward.
When the spiral staircase reached the top, the wooden door of the Headmaster's Office swung open.
Inside the Headmaster's Office, Headmaster Dumbledore was smiling warmly at them. Harry and Ron stood to one side, looking slightly nervous, and beside them, Grindelwald was eyeing them with great interest; he hadn't even taken any Polyjuice Potion while in Headmaster Dumbledore's office.
Ron, who came from the Wizarding World, had clearly recognized this famous first-generation Dark Lord and had told Harry the news.
The two boys were now tense all over, as if they were ready to bolt at any moment.
"Good afternoon, Miss Amanda, Miss Granger," Headmaster Dumbledore said, winking at the two girls.
"I'm sorry to disturb your relaxation time after the exams, but there is indeed something I need to tell you."
"It's no disturbance." Hermione shook her head and walked into the Headmaster's Office with Amanda.
Amanda closed the door behind her and nodded in agreement with Hermione. "Yes, it's no disturbance. Official business is important."
"Very well," Headmaster Dumbledore paused for two seconds, his thumbs twirling around each other as he clasped his hands. "Then I suppose you all already know the reason Voldemort went to the Ministry of Magic this time?"
"Yes, Headmaster Dumbledore," Harry was the first to nod and answer. "According to Amanda's analysis, he seems to want something in the Department of Mysteries, and only he or I can get it."
Hearing this, Grindelwald couldn't help but look at Amanda again. Does this young girl really not know divination? It felt like she could see the future almost as well as he could.
"Yes, Harry." Headmaster Dumbledore let go of his clasped hands and stood up to bring a stone basin out from a nearby cabinet.
Amanda and Hermione instantly recognized it as the pensieve, a very special magical item that can store a person's memories individually and even play them back for that person or others to see.
"That thing is a prophecy ball kept in the Department of Mysteries; it records a prophecy that once occurred."
"A prophecy?" Harry froze for a moment, then quickly reacted. "Does that prophecy have to do with me?"
"Someone prophesied that Harry would defeat Voldemort."
Harry's question and Amanda's affirmative statement rang out simultaneously. Headmaster Dumbledore pointed his wand at his temple, slowly drawing out a strand of memory and placing it into the pensieve.
"I believe so, Harry. That prophecy concerns you—to be more precise, it's a prophecy about you and Voldemort. Miss Amanda is correct; the prophecy indicates that you will defeat Voldemort."
Gesturing for the children to come closer, Headmaster Dumbledore demonstrated, "Put your head into the pensieve, and then you can see the memory I've drawn out."
Amanda and Hermione did so immediately. After Harry and Ron exchanged a glance, they also put their heads in.
In the next moment, they felt their surroundings change abruptly, shifting from the Hogwarts Headmaster's Office to a place they could recognize at a glance as a pub.
"Is this... the Hog's Head Inn?" Ron looked around, and his guess was quickly confirmed by Headmaster Dumbledore.
"Yes, very observant, Mr. Weasley."
Ron gave an embarrassed smile. Then, everything that followed played out before Amanda, Hermione, Harry, and him for the first time.
The eccentric Professor Trelawney, the terrifying prophecy, and the cruel truth revealed behind it.
Neither can live while the other survives... meaning Harry and Voldemort are destined for one of them to die.
The memory ended, and Headmaster Dumbledore and the four students returned to the Headmaster's Office. To his surprise, not only did Harry himself appear very calm and composed, but Amanda and the other two also looked settled as if they had known all along, showing no reaction other than a hint of worry in their eyes.
"Harry, your reaction seems very... calm?" Headmaster Dumbledore looked at him in confusion. No matter how strong Harry's character was, he was still a fifteen-year-old child.
Suddenly learning that only one of him or the most brutal Dark Lord in the world could live, shouldn't he be at least a little anxious?
"Uh..." Harry scratched his messy hair somewhat awkwardly. "To be honest, Headmaster Dumbledore, regarding the fact that only one of Voldemort and I can live, I've been mentally prepared for a long time."
Ever since Amanda told him that there was a soul fragment of Voldemort in the scar on his forehead, and that he would need to take a Killing Curse from Voldemort to get rid of it.
Harry had been mentally prepared. Between him and Voldemort, it was bound to be a case of 'either he dies or I do'.
So rather than being shocked or afraid of this point, it was more the fact that Professor Trelawney could actually make a prophecy that shocked Harry.
Headmaster Dumbledore opened his mouth, his blue eyes staring fixedly at Harry, with a hint of moisture appearing in them.
He thought of the cruel fact that he still hadn't told this child, and... he hadn't even told Severus yet.
He didn't have the heart; he couldn't bear for a child as ill-fated as Harry to know this at such a young age, and he was also worried that Severus might not be able to accept it once he knew.
Ultimately, whether it was Harry or Severus, they were both his students, both his children.
If he could, he really wanted to take their place himself.
Seeing the hesitation on Headmaster Dumbledore's face, Amanda walked over to Harry and patted his shoulder.
"I can see you are hesitating and conflicted, and also carrying some sadness, Headmaster Dumbledore."
"Analyzing and assessing based on the current situation, I believe the most likely reason you're showing these emotions is that you're hesitating whether to tell Harry about the soul fragment of Voldemort in his forehead."
Hearing Amanda say it directly, Headmaster Dumbledore's pupils constricted violently as he suddenly looked at Harry. "Harry, you know?"
"I know," Harry nodded as if it were natural. "My previous dreams could connect to Voldemort, plus I spoke Parseltongue even earlier. Amanda had already analyzed that there should be a soul fragment of Voldemort in the scar on my forehead."
"And she also told me that it would likely require me to personally take a Killing Curse from Voldemort to be cleared away."
"Then you..."
"I don't think it matters, Headmaster Dumbledore." Harry smiled and shook his head.
"I've lived for fifteen years now. If things don't go well in the future, maybe I can live another year or two?"
"Hey, Amanda, Hermione, don't look at me like that. I'm just talking about the worst-case scenario."
Feeling two burning and threatening gazes, Harry quickly raised his hands in surrender and then continued what he was saying.
"Looking at it this way, maybe the length of my life is indeed short, but its depth is very great."
"Maybe it's sixteen years, maybe seventeen," Harry spread his hands. "In these short dozen or so years, I've experienced a grandeur that most people have never experienced."
"I've taken risks, encountered danger with friends, found elders who love me, and met a group of teachers who are truly good to me, just like my family."
"I've experienced everything I should experience, and I've had everything I should have."
Harry smiled with relief as he spoke. "Even if my life is only sixteen or seventeen years, I believe its depth has already far exceeded Voldemort's."
"If I can use my life to end Voldemort and exchange it for more people to enjoy their lives, I think I'm very willing."
"If I don't die, I will certainly live happily in the years to come. If I do die, I won't feel it's a pity, because I have lived so well and I have once had everything."
"And even if I die," Harry's voice suddenly became resolute as he looked at Amanda and then at Headmaster Dumbledore, "then Voldemort's soul fragment will be gone. At that time, Amanda and Headmaster Dumbledore will definitely be able to kill Voldemort easily! Then all of this can end."
"This is the best choice and the smoothest path!"
"Harry..." Headmaster Dumbledore took off his glasses, his blue eyes briefly looking elsewhere before putting them back on. He looked at Harry with full pride. "You truly are the son of James and Lily, the godson of Sirius!"
"I feel admiration and pride for your courage." With that, Headmaster Dumbledore even stood up, took off his wizard hat, and bowed to Harry.
Startled, Harry immediately rushed forward to help him up, his eyes uncontrollably glancing toward Grindelwald nearby.
Grindelwald smiled and said nothing.
Amanda looked at Harry helping Headmaster Dumbledore up, then thought about the certainty she had gained earlier. After some deliberation, she used vague words to convey a definite meaning.
"Harry, you can rest assured. You will definitely be able to enjoy the feeling of growing old slowly in the future."
