Chapter 273 - Dilemma of Black Rook Hold

While Shandris successfully completed her mission and began her return journey, Andreas Moonshadow, who was stationed at the Marksman Camp, was patiently reading the information conveyed by Fandral under Celeste's massage.

Now Fandral is also in the Suramar area of the Broken Isles, leading a group of Cenarion Circle Druids to inspect the second akandor seed.

There were two important things in the information conveyed by Fandral: one was the inspection report on akandor and follow-up suggestions, and the other was the order issued by Malfurion, who had just awakened from the Emerald Dream.

The trip to Suramar was originally in Andreas' plan. After skimming through this part, he focused his attention on the latter piece of information.

As the leader of the Druidic Order and the Cenarion Circle, Malfurion personally spoke to end the dispute and officially decided to send an invitation to the Zandalari Trolls' Druids.

The Zandalari's Druidism did not originate from Cenarius' inspiration, but gradually evolved under the guidance of one of their worshiped loa spirits.

Gonk, the raptor god, also known as the God of Shapeshifting by the Zandalari Trolls, this loa walking on the path of nature is the master of all beasts, and all Zandalari beasts are nominally under his management.

Similar to the various transformation forms developed by the Night Elves Druids using the appearance characteristics of the Wild Gods, the Zandalari Druids can also transform into many animal forms. They refer to the many loa spirits worshiped by the Zandalari Tribe.

Malfurion believes that inviting Zandalari Druids to join the Cenarion Circle can bring them some inspiration, and he made the decision just after waking up from the dream.

The problem now is, who should be sent to Zandalari Trolls to announce this news? You must know that the relationship between Night Elves and Trolls is not harmonious at all, and it can even be said to be incompatible.

If this problem cannot be handled properly, the person sent to issue the invitation will definitely not come back.

It's not that they will be eaten by Zandalari. Zandalari, who claim to be a civilized society, abolished the cannibalistic bad habits long ago, but they will never show mercy when facing enemies. Even if they don't eat you, they will kill you in other ways.

"Sigh~"

Although Fandral beat around the bush, the meaning between his lines was obviously to let Andreas, who had a brief exchange with Loa of Kings Rezan, arrange for someone to go to Zandalar.

"Okay, I'll take a trip to Zandalar after the Suramar matter is over."

Andreas shrugged and said to Feren, who was responsible for delivering the message, "Tell Fandral and the mentor to wait for a while. I'll just go to Zandalar Island for another trip."

The Broken Isles are not far from Zandalar Island. It should be possible to reach it soon from the pier in southern Azsuna.

However, just in case, Andreas will make complete preparations before departure. At least he will never rashly enter Zuldazar. Once he is besieged by a large group of loa, even if he grows wings, he may not be able to escape... Onyxia's team of three who finished their family reunion trip and Shandris who completed her mission returned one after another.

Onyxia conveniently brought Ebysian, who had asked for leave, along with her, while Shandris had a long spear with a simple and majestic appearance slanting on her back.

Seeing the artifact spear retrieved by Shandris, Ansa was so excited that she could not control herself. The spear of the eagle, which had been lost for thousands of years, finally returned to the Highmountain Tribe.

This matter quickly alarmed the Clan leaders of Thunder Totem, but when they rushed to the Marksman Camp, Andreas and others had already left Highmountain.

Ebysian and Onyxia were sent to the Blue Wing Roost by Celeste using teleportation magic, and the Blue Dragon stationed there transferred them to the Wyrmrest Temple.

With Onyxia temporarily leaving the team, Andreas and others simply slowed down the pace of their journey.

After leaving Highmountain, the group leisurely rode the Night Saber borrowed from the Marksman Camp, and returned to Valsharah along the original route, passing through the eastern village of Andu'tala and entering Suramar in the southeast.

Fandral and others were near the ruins of Phalanaar at the junction of Suramar and Valsharah at this time.

Having experienced the explosion of the first akandor, Phalanaar was in a mess, and the nearby area was originally occupied by Fal'dorei spider people.

After Elisande Ravencrest personally led the army to suppress them, the local Fal'dorei were cleared out, and the surviving individuals were imprisoned in the Warden's Vault built by Maiev in Azsuna.

"Long time no see, Speaker Moonshadow."

Elisande, fully armed, politely nodded and saluted Andreas, and Andreas also kindly responded to this Black Rook Hold leader.

Since the end of the War of the Ancients, Andreas and Elisande have not really met for more than 7,000 years.

Due to the relatively independent political system of Black Rook Hold, Andreas did not think about forcing them to completely integrate into the core system of the Night Elf Republic.

However, his thoughts have changed recently. Black Rook Hold's years of closed-door policy have gradually led their development into a dead end.

Taking advantage of this meeting, Andreas had an open and honest discussion with Elisande.

As the contemporary Black Rook Hold leader and a descendant of the Ravencrest Clan, Elisande is certainly not a straw bag. She can see the current predicament of Black Rook Hold.

However, since Anathiss' large group of High Elves fled east, except for the Highborne who had long been accustomed to living with civilians under the equal policies of Moonshadow's Rest, the original nobles of Black Rook Hold have increased their vigilance against the Night Elf Republic... or rather against Tyrande.

They were worried that actively integrating into the Night Elf Republic would be suppressed by Tyrande like DathRemar and others, and this concern has always existed even after Andreas came to power.

During this meeting, Andreas made a straightforward guarantee to Elisande.

"I can understand your concerns, and I also blame myself for not paying enough attention to Black Rook Hold before and not noticing your difficulties in time."

"I guarantee to you in my capacity as Speaker of the High Council that as long as I am still in power, even if Tyrande still harbors prejudice, it is impossible for her to do what she did back then to force Dath'Remar and others away again."

"Believe me, she no longer has this authority."

Elisande breathed a sigh of relief after receiving the guarantee, "Black Rook Hold has been overwhelmed by years of cautious self-seclusion."

"Everyone actually knows very well that Black Rook Hold has reached a point where it has to open up to the outside world, otherwise this long-standing fortress city will eventually disappear into the long river of history."

Black Rook Hold once had a unique geographical advantage. As an important hub connecting Suramar and Suramar, this fortress could be self-sufficient simply by relying on the tax revenue from the trade caravans between the two cities.

The strong financial resources were the most fundamental reason why Lord Kur'talos Ravencrest was able to quickly raise a strong Rebel Army during the War of the Ancients.

But today is different. With the explosion of the Well of Eternity, Suramar sank to the bottom of the sea, and Suramar sealed itself in a barrier. The location of Black Rook Hold is awkwardly isolated in the northwest corner of Val'sharah.

Without the policy support of the Night Elf Republic, the significance of the existence of this fortress city is very weak, and transformation is imperative.

After seeing Elisande off, Fandral came to visit with Farodin, who looked like a little daughter-in-law.

"Andreas, although this kid is reckless in his work, his talent for improving plant seeds is unparalleled."

"Akandor does need a long time of magic nourishment to mature, as he said. Even if it is incorporated into the World Tree system, this world can only be shortened to within 1,000 years."

"Pa pa!"

Fandral patted Farodin heavily on the back, and Andreas watched Farodin's face turn livid.

"Leave this guy to me for good training. I believe that he will be able to provide many useful professional suggestions for the Cenarion Circle to plant new World Trees in the future."

Andreas looked at Farodin's bitter face and chuckled helplessly, "Okay, you can decide for yourself, remember to say hello to the mentor."
