Malfurion considered it for a moment and was the first to nod in agreement. "I have no problem with that. I can head to Black Rook Hold at any time through the connection of the World Tree."
Tyrande also spoke with a dark expression, "I can depart at any time as well. However, since there are no longer any Highborne in Astranaar, we cannot use teleportation to go directly to Eldre'Thalas."
Andreas interjected, "I've already considered that. I brought a small squad of Moon Guards with me this time; they can open a portal to the Hidden City for you."
Maiev suddenly directed a sharp question at Andreas. "What about Moonshadow's Rest? There are quite a few Highborne in your territory as well, aren't there?"
This wasn't Maiev intentionally targeting Andreas; it was simply her nature to be blunt and direct.
Andreas, well aware of the Warden leader's temperament, replied calmly, "Before I left, I instructed Delier Star-Eye, the leader of the Moon Guards, to reassure them. Given his prestige, there shouldn't be any issues."
Maiev nodded approvingly. "Very well, I have no further questions."
"Then on to the next issue."
Andreas looked at Malfurion and asked with a frown, "Mentor, I heard from Shandris that those greedy merchants are still clamoring over the lands left behind by the Highborne. Do you not intend to deal with them?"
Malfurion blinked, then gave a bitter smile. "There are too many things to attend to; we haven't been able to deal with them for the time being."
Andreas took over the conversation solemnly. "We cannot let them continue their ruckus."
Glancing at Tyrande, Andreas continued, "Since the Highborne have already fled, the 'historical mission' of these hyenas has come to an end."
"These black sheep must not be allowed to remain. If we do not punish them severely, their behavior will send a terrible signal to the residents of Astranaar. Who knows if similar incidents will occur in the future?"
Tyrande was also growing weary of those insatiable hyenas. A flash of irritation crossed her eyes.
"How do you think we should handle them?"
"Kill them!" Andreas said without hesitation. "Kill one to warn a hundred. Use their blood to caution others hiding in the shadows who are waiting for their chance. This precedent of sucking blood from others' corpses must never be established, otherwise, things will get out of hand in the future."
Maiev chuckled in approval. "I think so too. Greed is infinite. If we don't restrain them with the law early on, their arrogant and overbearing actions will eventually affect the honest and kind citizens."
Tyrande and Malfurion exchanged a look. Although they were reluctant to resort to a mass execution in Astranaar, as the saying goes, 'heavy penalties are needed in times of chaos.' To maintain the stability of the capital, they couldn't worry about so much now.
After hesitating for a long while, Tyrande finally relented. "Very well. Warden Maiev, I leave them to you."
"No problem."
Having received her orders, Maiev did not linger. She rose and strode out with her characteristic efficiency.
As a widespread bloodshed was about to occur in Astranaar, the good-natured Malfurion sighed softly.
"Andreas, I've heard about Elune's command from Tyrande. The three of us have discussed it and decided to adopt the Moon Goddess's instructions."
"Tyrande and I are about to depart for Eldre'Thalas and Black Rook Hold. It's perfect that you're here to hold the fort..."
"No."
Andreas shook his head. "For certain reasons, my intelligence personnel have found the whereabouts of the missing Blue Dragon King, Malygos. Next, I plan to follow the Dragonflight to the Eastern Kingdoms. For now, let Shandris hold the fort."
"Malygos?"
Both Tyrande and Malfurion showed startled expressions. They had long heard from the Green Dragons about the Blue Dragon King's centuries-long disappearance. They hadn't expected to get information about him at this critical juncture.
"The Eastern Continent..."
Malfurion's eyes flickered. "Do you plan to see Dath'Remar and the others while you're at it?"
"Correct."
Andreas admitted it forthrightly. "Regardless of the cause or the process, the Highborne exodus has already happened. Everything is irreparable."
"But in my heart, Dath'Remar and his people are innocent. Mentor, you should also be clear about the true reason they fled."
"I plan to ask them about their future plans. After all, we are compatriots; we can't let the Highborne completely sever ties with us."
Malfurion's cheek twitched. To spare the feelings of Tyrande, whose expression was becoming increasingly unsightly, he did not pick up Andreas's point and shifted the topic elsewhere.
"There is one more thing I haven't had the chance to tell you. Before he left, Dath'Remar stole one of the vials of Well of Eternity water I had hidden."
Andreas was not surprised at all. Ever since he heard that Dath'Remar and Illidan had met privately, he had guessed this day would come.
"Let him be."
Andreas waved his hand. "The Dath'Remar I know is not someone who lacks a sense of propriety. Since he chose to steal the Well water, it means he already has a foolproof method to conceal the energy source."
"However, just in case, I will cautiously make a final confirmation with him when I go to the Eastern Kingdoms. Mentor, High Priestess, do you have any words you want me to bring to him?"
Tyrande was the first to snap through gritted teeth, "None!"
Malfurion looked at Tyrande wordlessly and said helplessly, "I have only one sentence to remind them. I hope Dath'Remar does not repeat the mistakes of Queen Azshara."
Andreas nodded with a smile. "I will certainly convey that to him."
...
Since Malfurion and Tyrande had to rush to Black Rook Hold and Eldre'Thalas respectively to soothe the situation, and Maiev was busy dealing with the hyenas whose mission had ended, Shandris was the only one left to oversee the Great Temple and handle various affairs.
Andreas gave his girlfriend a kiss on the forehead as a farewell, then returned to Moonshadow's Rest through the portal constructed by the Moon Guards.
By this time, Saragosa had basically completed the location tracking, and the four major Dragonflight figures were ready to set out.
Besides Onyxia, who was scheduled to be taken along, Andreas looked with some concern at Celeste, who seemed lost in thought and somewhat restless.
"Sigh~"
After hesitating for a moment, Andreas sighed and patted the girl's head.
"Celeste, you should come with us too."
"Eh? Is that okay?"
Andreas gave a helpless smile. "If you stay in Moonshadow's Rest, you'll just be distracted all day. Your heart has already flown across the ocean to be with your father and brother. In that case, I might as well take you there to reunite with them."
Noticing someone behind Celeste intentionally making their presence felt, Andreas rolled his eyes. "Leticia, leaving you alone in Moonshadow's Rest would only cause trouble for Maclay and the others. You're coming with me too."
Leticia cheered and hugged Celeste. "Yay! Let's go together!"
"We're ready."
Saragosa skillfully waved her left hand to draw a portal, and a piercing cold wind immediately blew from the other side into Andreas's office.
Several Dragonflight leaders, who feared neither heat nor cold, were the first to step through the portal. Lisa and the other secretaries knowingly presented Andreas and the two girls with thick wool coats that hadn't been used since the Satyr War.
"Jorge, remember these teleportation coordinates."
"Maclay, Moonshadow's Rest is temporarily in your hands. If there are important matters to report, you can send aerial scouts to the Eastern Kingdoms. Head north all the way to Tirisfal Glades to find me."
"Yes, sir!"
"Very well, let's go!"
