Chapter 71 - The Accord of Divergent Dreams

In truth, she was someone possessed of talent that could be described as a modern Bodhisattva.

Had she been raised in a normal environment, she would have naturally reached the state called 'Bodhisattva' in Buddhism, and in the Abrahamic religions, she would undoubtedly have been hailed as a Saint.

However, twisted by a 'certain reason,' the inverted version of her potential had degenerated into a monstrous creature to whom people no longer seemed human. To her, the only being that qualified as a 'human' in the true sense was herself.

She regarded all other humans as merely different species capable of 'similar' communication, and her humanity was interpreted as an extreme narcissism where she loved only herself.

The problem was that her ego and existence were so bloated and magnificent that she was dubbed the 'Demon Bodhisattva.' Even Alaya, the Counter Force, could not deny her conviction that she alone was humanity, and was forced to recognize her as an 'Evil of Humanity'—a Beast.

I am the only human in this world; therefore, the purpose of everything in existence is to be consumed for my pleasure.

'…Phew, calm down. This is the headquarters of the Holy Church, so even the King of Demon Gods would find it difficult to approach her carelessly and awaken her as a Beast.'

Unlike the 'All the World's Evil' who died in lonely isolation, or those like Manaka Sajyou and Shiki Ryougi who lived as solitary enigmas, even if she possessed the aptitude to awaken as a Beast through a Demon God Pillar… at least in this 'future where she joined the Holy Church,' she had personally abandoned the path of Emergence.

Naturally, she would possess considerable combat power as No. 3 of the Burial Agency. Even if she didn't, as long as that transcendental monster Narbareck was present, even an avatar of the King of Demon Gods—capable of exerting only the power of a single Demon God Pillar—would not be able to force her awakening easily.

"Oh my, oh my."

At 그 moment, a woman revealed herself before my eyes.

She wore the habit of a nun, a look ill-suited for the Burial Agency—the Holy Church's strongest group of anti-monstrosity specialists. Her voluptuous curves, particularly her chest and hips, were clearly defined beneath the fabric.

Her hair was hidden beneath a white hood-like veil, and she wore no makeup, appearing like a simple, modest monastic. Yet, every single movement she made was saturated with a lethal sensuality capable of stirring worldly desires to the point of obsession.

"I never expected such a precious guest to visit a place like this…"

"…I heard you were No. 3 of the Burial Agency. I was told you would be my guide?"

"Fufufu, that is correct. I suppose I should introduce myself first. I am the 3rd rank of the Burial Agency, the nun—Sister Kiara Sessyoin."
