Chapter 2 - Transmigrated

My eyes opened slowly, and the first thing I noticed was that I was in a bedroom bigger than my entire apartment. The walls were adorned with intricate patterns, the furniture gleamed with polished wood, and the chandelier above me sparkled like it was made of diamonds.

I sat up immediately, my heart racing. "Where… am I?"

Before I could gather my thoughts, the door burst open, and a maid rushed into the room.

"Miss Shen Qing, you're awake! Young Master Lu is downstairs waiting for you. He said you promised to transfer the money today."

Wait. Who the hell is Shen Qing? Young Master Li? Transfer money?

I turned toward the full-length mirror beside the bed, and my eyes widened in shock.

A beautiful, unfamiliar face stared back at me. Her skin was flawless, her features delicate and refined, her long dark hair falling in soft waves over her shoulders. She looked elegant, almost regal, dressed in an expensive silk gown that screamed wealth.

But she wasn't me.

"Haaahhhhh!!" I screamed, stumbling back.

The maid rushed to my side, her face pale with concern. "Madam! Madam! Are you okay?"

I ignored her, my shaking hands reaching up to touch the face in the mirror.

The face that didn't belong to me.

"No way…" I whispered, my voice trembling.

Recognition hit me like a freight train. Shen Qing!!

The tragic heiress from the novel. The girl who wasted millions on a man who treated her like nothing. The girl who poured her heart, soul, and fortune into Lu Zhen, only to be betrayed and left to die, poisoned and alone.

And now… I was her.

I stared at the reflection, Wait, does that mean...I'm—I'm rich now? My lips slowly curved into a dangerous smile.

"Oh, hell no," I said, throwing off the blanket and standing up.

The maid blinked, startled by the sudden change in my demeanor. "M-Madam?"

I ignored her, If I was really Shen Qing, then this was my chance. My chance to rewrite everything, to avoid her mistakes, to live her life on my terms. I wasn't going to waste my money on some stupid idiots and a snake of a best-friend. Never!!

"First thing…" I muttered, heading toward the door. "He's not receiving any transfer."
