The gate to the 'A-Rank Dungeon: Frozen Fortress swung open. A huge amount of blue Mana came out. The Frozen Fortress is a bad place. It is so cold inside that it stays at 40 degrees below zero all the time. This is cold enough to freeze the blood of a hunter who's not ready, in just a few seconds. The Frozen Fortress is a dungeon that people know is very dangerous.
"Be careful Jin-woo " Soo-yun whispered to me as I stood at the entrance. I could see that the jealousy in Soo-yuns eyes was gone and now Soo-yun had this concern, in her eyes that kept flickering.
I gave a nod and stepped into the really cold darkness. When I walked into the room the big stone doors closed behind me with a loud noise. The stone doors slammed shut behind me.
1. The Mission and the Mana Struggle
The Systems voice echoed in the crystal halls:

[ Objective: Hunt 200 'Ice Golems' and the Boss 'Frost Giant'. ]
[ Time Limit: 6 Hours. ]
The cold really hit me hard. It felt like someone punched me. My breath came out all foggy away. I had to do what my Daily Task said. It said I had to make my Mana Circulation better, by 20%. So I closed my eyes. I could feel the cold trying to get into my bones and joints. My Mana Circulation was what I needed to focus on.
I thought to myself if I do not move my Mana faster I will become a statue. So I started to make the energy, inside my core move really fast like it was spinning around in a circle of like a super fast turbine. I was trying to get my Mana to go around and around to keep it from stopping.
[ Mana Circulation Progress: 5%... 12%... 18%... ]
The energy started to get really strong. My body got very hot. Water vapor started to come off my skin and the ice under my feet began to turn into water. The energy kept getting stronger. I could feel my body temperature going up and up. The ice was melting fast and steam was rising up from my skin. The energy was making my body feel like it was, on fire. The ice was melting away under my feet.
2. The Rise of 'Shadow Blink'
The ice walls broke into pieces all of an Ice Golems came out. There were dozens of Ice Golems. The Ice Golems were really big ten feet tall. They were made out of blue ice from glaciers. Each of the Ice Golems had a mace made of frozen ice. The Ice Golems were holding these frozen maces.
I pulled out my blade, Atharv. The golems all came at me at the time.. I did not back away. I decided to get my reward for finishing the task I was supposed to do every day. I was supposed to get something, for completing the task so I went ahead and claimed my reward.
You did a job. Your daily task is finished.
I just got a reward. It is a skill book called Shadow Blink. This skill book is really good because it is ranked S. So I now have the Shadow Blink skill book, with an S rank.

A huge mace was really close, to my head. I thought of one thing. Blink.
In a flash of light I was gone. Then I was back standing behind the golem hiding in its shadow. The mace swung through air missing me. My blade cut through the golems glowing core before the golem could even turn to face me. The golems core was. My blade sliced right through it.
CRAAACK!
The big thing made of ice fell apart into a heap of ice.
I moved fast for the next fifteen minutes.
I was like a flash jumping from one dark spot to another.
The golems did not stand a chance they were trying to fight the ice construct. The ice construct was gone. I was like a ghost.
The golems were fighting me but I was too fast I was, like a ghost the golems could not catch me.
3. The Trap in the Dark
Outside the dungeon the suspicious man with the eyes was standing next to Colonel Vikram. This man leaned in close and whispered something to Colonel Vikram. What he said made Colonel Vikrams face turn completely gray, like ash. Colonel Vikram looked really upset. The suspicious man with the eyes just stood there next, to Colonel Vikram.
Vikram said "But that is, against the rules we have to follow" and he sounded really nervous.
The man said to the Colonel "We are the ones, in charge now". He was smiling,. It was really scary. "Just make sure the emergency exits are closed" he said. "Jin-woo has to stay in this dungeon. He cannot leave alive today. We need to make Jin-woo go deeper into the dungeon... Where He is waiting for Jin-woo.
The Colonels hands were shaking as he put a code into the control panel. This made the dungeons difficulty parameters go up and down fast. The Colonel was watching the dungeons difficulty parameters. They were changing a lot. The dungeons difficulty parameters were over the place because of what the Colonel did, with the code.
4. The System's Warning
Inside I was finishing off the last of the golems. The color of the walls in the cavern changed all of a sudden. The blue walls turned into a red color that looked really scary and ominous. This change in the color of the walls was very strange. It happened very quickly. The golems were still, on my mind. Now I had to think about what was happening with the walls of the cavern. The deep red color of the walls made me feel like something was going to happen. I was still thinking about the golems. The red walls of the cavern were very disturbing.
[ WARNING! WARNING! ]
Someone has made some changes to the Dungeon Barrier from the outside. The Dungeon Barrier is now different because of this. The change, to the Dungeon Barrier was done from the outside.
The difficulty level of the game has been increased to Step S-Rank.
[ Alert: A Hidden Boss has been forced to wake up. ]
A loud scream came from the part of the fortress. It was a sad sound that made my bones hurt. This was not a monster. It was the spirit of a Corrupted Hunter. The dungeon had taken this person in a time ago about a thousand years ago.
I held the hilt of Atharv tight. So they want to kill me. That is a mistake. They have chosen the person to try and get rid of. Atharv is going to help me make sure that does not happen.
