The air outside the portal was really nice and fresh. It was a change from the mountain peak where the air was so thick and hard to breathe. When we came out Soo-yun looked at me with an expression. Her eyes got small like she did not trust me all. "Jin-woo something strange is going on " she said. "The portal helped both of us get to Level 10 away. So why does your status look the same, as before Jin-woo?"
I made my face look confused. I used my Power Mask ability to change what was on the system screen that I showed her. "Wait... Oh it just changed now. Look it says I am, at Level 3 now. Maybe the system was slow because my rank is low so it took a while to figure everything out with the Power Mask and the system."
"Level 3?" Soo-yun said this. Then she let out a sigh of relief. That is news. The Academy is going to watch the Level 3 student. Soo-yun told the student to be careful. The Academy will have its eyes on the Level 3 student.
As we got to the part of the Academy it was really crazy. A student was standing in the middle of a group of people talking loudly. "Did you see that? I am now at Level 4. Nobody in our group is better than the Academy students at Level 4, like me -"
He just stopped talking all of sudden when our team walked by. The instructor checked on us. Then the whole Academy got really quiet. "Level 10? Soo-yun and Yuri you guys got to Level 10 after one raid?"
People started talking quietly but you could tell it was going to spread fast. They were saying things like "They're Level 10 but that weak player, the F-Rank one is still only Level 3? He must have been holding them back the time." Soo-yun told the instructor the story I had come up with. That she had beaten the C-Rank boss by herself because of a mistake, in the dungeon. She did not like taking credit for something she did not really do. I asked her to go along with it so she did. The story was that she had soloed the C-Rank boss and she hated saying that. I wanted her to so she said it anyway.
That evening I was back, in my dorm room and the cold voice of the System was still echoing in my mind:
You did a job on the last two missions. You got a Rate, for both of them. This is a notice to let you know that you did well.
I just got a reward. It is called the Storage Box. This Storage Box is for storing things in a sub dimension. I can use the Storage Box to store lots of things. The Storage Box is really useful, for storing things in a place.
Description: This is, like a pocket that you can carry with you. You can put anything you want in this dimensional pocket no matter how heavy it is or how big it is. The personal dimensional pocket is really useful because it can hold any item.
I thought to myself that is really great. The System always seems to know what I need before I even ask for it. Then something else caught my attention. Another notification, from The System appeared.

Requirement 1: Obtain a 'Promotional Raid Permit' from the Hunter Association.
Requirement 2: Join a B-Rank Raid Team as a 'Porter' and successfully clear the dungeon.
The morning I went to the Hunter Association. When I walked into the hall I stopped moving. Soo-yun and Yuri were standing by the desk. They were probably there to sign up for their ranks.
"Damn it! If they see me here they will ask me a thousand questions " I said to myself. Then the System jumped in:

You have been given a power for a little while it is called the Small Transformer ability.
This thing lets the host change how they look and sound for a while. The host can make themselves appear different and even change their voice. It only lasts for a short time. The host gets to decide how they want to look and sound. It is like they are a completely different person, for a little bit.
I turned on the skill away. My face changed into someone Face. I walked past the people. They did not even look at me. When I got to the counter I showed the clerk my level, which is Level 10 and they were really surprised. I got my permit. I left before the skill stopped working. The skill is really useful, for the permit, which's why I used the skill to get my Level 10 permit.
I signed up for a B-Rank Raid Team that needed people. When I got to the place two other porters were already there waiting. This Hunter named Kim did not look happy when he saw B-Rank Raid Team member me. He said "You are an F-Rank?. You showed up late? B-Rank Raid Team is wasting time because of you, an F-Rank."
The Team Leader stopped him. "Be quiet Kim. He is an F-Rank. He is still a human being. We just need him to carry the equipment for us. The Team Leader said this to Kim because he wanted him to remember that the F-Rank person is still a being. The Team Leader told Kim that we need the F-Rank person to carry the gear.
We went into the dungeon. This place was called a Nature-Type Dungeon. It had big trees and lots of thick vines all over the place. Our Leader told us to be careful. He said "Stay sharp. This dungeon is special it is a Multi-Dungeon. You might see different kinds of monsters from different groups at the same time like many different races of monsters all at once, in the Nature-Type Dungeon."
The Hunters were really good, at killing Slimes and small insectoids at first. I would sneak up behind them. Touch the dead bodies to get their Essence. I was getting Gold Coins and EXP without doing anything. Everyone thought I was just getting rid of the bodies.. As we went further into the forest the nice green color started to change to a nasty black color that looked like it was rotting.
"What is that smell?" a Hunter yelled. Something bad was in the air. Then these decaying grey hands came out of the bushes. These were the Undead Soldiers. "We have Undead Soldiers in a Nature Dungeon? That is just not possible!" the team shouted. They were really scared. The team was saying "We have Undead Soldiers here this is crazy!" because Undead Soldiers are not supposed to be, in a Nature Dungeon.
Then a scary figure came out of the fog. It was an Undead Lich. A powerful B-Rank Monster. The Leaders hands started to shake. This is not the big boss. If a normal monster like this is a B-Rank Lich, what kind of thing is waiting for us in the Boss Room? The thought of the Boss Room is terrifying because the Undead Lich is already so powerful. What if the actual boss is even stronger, than the Undead Lich?
The Lich's hollow laughter echoed through the trees, chilling everyone to the bone.
