Pre–War Lord Stages
These are the stages ordinary humans must pass through before qualifying as a true War Lord. Most people never reach the final stage.
Stage 1: Awakened Body
The moment when dormant human potential is activated.
• Physical abilities exceed normal human limits
• Enhanced strength, speed, endurance, and recovery
• Can sense CIX energy at a basic level
• No true combat techniques yet
Most citizens who awaken never advance beyond this stage.
Stage 2: Energy Channeler
The body learns to guide internal energy.
• Can circulate CIX based energy through meridians
• Performs basic martial techniques
• Increased stamina and battlefield awareness
• Can fight low level mutated beasts
This stage separates civilians from real fighters.
Stage 3: Core Forging
Energy is condensed into a stable internal core.
• Formation of a power core within the body
• Greatly improved control and efficiency
• Capable of sustained combat
• Can defeat mid tier monsters alone
This is where mortality rates rise sharply during training.
Stage 4: Resonant Warrior
The warrior begins to resonate with the environment.
• Energy responds to emotions and intent
• Can release energy outside the body
• Enhanced perception of threats
• Can fight elite monsters and small hordes
At this level, fighters are considered city elites.
Stage 5: Domain Initiate
The warrior imposes their will on surrounding space.
• Creation of a small personal combat zone
• Energy pressure affects enemies
• Techniques become unique to the individual
• Can alter terrain slightly during battle
Very few reach this stage. Cities treat them as strategic assets.
Stage 6: Ascendant Vanguard
The final threshold before becoming a War Lord.
• Body, mind, and energy fully synchronized
• Near perfect control over combat output
• Can battle large scale monster outbreaks
• Power begins to surpass conventional weapons
Crossing this stage means standing at the door of legend.
War Lord Stages
Only those who survive Ascendant Vanguard training can break into true War Lord territory.
War Lord
True defenders of humanity.
• Power rivals heavy military divisions
• Capable of city scale defense
• Possess signature techniques or weapons
• Resistant to most CIX corruption
Their names are recorded in city archives.
Elder War Lord
Veterans who have mastered their power.
• Can command multiple domains
• Techniques shape the battlefield
• Presence alone can suppress monsters
• Often lead cities or elite combat forces
An Elder War Lord is a walking disaster deterrent.
Superior War Lord
Apex beings of the human race.
• Power borders on the mythic
• Can influence entire regions
• Capable of fighting catastrophic level threats
• Rarely appear unless humanity faces extinction
