"Thank you for your hard work on today's mission; we've been observing everyone's performance."
"Especially Kiana, we hope you listen to orders more next time."
"Yes, understood."
Zeus stood before the three, speaking, and occasionally glancing at Kiana.
Although Kiana's itchy hands and habit of seeking trouble caused a small disturbance in the end, overall, the mission was a success.
Seeing Kiana's expression of shame and indignation, she must have realized her mistake!
Upon hearing Zeus's instruction, Kiana, shedding her previous shame, firmly replied to Zeus with a receptive expression.
"Rest well! We're heading back to school."
After giving instructions to the three, the five began chatting about daily life, such as good restaurants and places with excellent desserts.
They had a lively conversation about these trivial matters!
But the four didn't know that while she was interacting with them, Zeus's mind was already connected to a particularly worry-prone wife.
"What's wrong? Are you lonely?"
"It's rare for you to call me proactively."
Zeus curiously asked Cecilia in her mind, very curious about what this wife, who basically never sought her out unless there was something important, wanted to do.
"I apologize for disturbing you, but I must speak."
Cecilia's voice was filled with a sense of heaviness, which made Zeus a little puzzled.
Then, she excused herself from the four in front of her, found a corner, and began to listen carefully to Cecilia's account.
"Today, I witnessed another inhumane experiment."
Her voice was filled with a seething hatred as Cecilia began to recount her day.
She had swapped places with Kiana, letting Kiana rest while she followed Otto.
Unexpectedly, today Otto led her into a laboratory.
This laboratory was unusually secretive, and in the center of the experiment were several huge cultivation tanks and other equipment, containing several girls.
But what most caught Cecilia's attention was the enormous gem of energy.
"This thing, why does it look so much like a Herrscher Core."
Cecilia, who found it increasingly familiar, didn't show any abnormality.
It had been over a decade, and she had adapted to this life of acting.
But the next scene truly enraged her; she felt that selling her life to this dirty organization was not worth it.
Otto and an old man spoke a few words, and then the energy from the gem began to inject into the girls.
Initially, it was relatively stable, but in less than three minutes, their bodies began to collapse one by one, turning into black smoke and slowly disappearing from them.
Cecilia could clearly see the last girl desperately pounding on the container glass, her expression one of utter despair.
This scene deeply pierced her heart; this child wasn't even as old as Kiana!
Yet, she was being used as a guinea pig by these deranged madmen, dying in this forgotten laboratory before she could even enjoy the prime of her youth.
As a mother, she was now so furious that she wanted to slice Otto into sashimi.
Zeus, also a mother, fell silent at this moment.
Knowing that such inhumane experiments existed, she had still happily gone about her daily life, not quickly dealing with this mad Herrscher.
It was her mistake.
However, Otto couldn't be killed directly just yet; even without Otto, there were many other mad scientists like him in Schicksal.
Zeus planned to round them all up and eliminate future troubles.
In fact, Anti-Entropy's mech plan could be promoted, but Anti-Entropy's current leader had some problematic ideas, and it still needed to be considered whether Anti-Entropy should also be dealt with.
"Bear with it; we will make them repay a hundredfold."
Saying this to Cecilia, Zeus briefly spoke with her before disconnecting the mental link.
Then, she pretended as if nothing had happened and rejoined the conversation with the four.
However, in her mind, she began to ponder how to get Theresa and Himeko to leave Schicksal.
If it were Kiana, Mei, and Bronya, they would probably follow Zeus easily.
But these two had worked for Schicksal for many years and had an inseparable attachment to it.
It seemed some tactics would be needed.
"Himeko, if I say, if…"
"If I leave Schicksal, will you come with me?"
When Mei went to cook, and Kiana and Bronya played games, leaving only Himeko and Zeus in the living room, Zeus took a sip of tea and asked Himeko in an interrogative tone.
"I will drag you back, no matter if it's to the ends of the earth or the bottom of the sea."
Upon hearing Zeus's words, Himeko paused her tea-drinking.
She raised her beautiful face and stared intently at Zeus with her sharp, heroic eyes.
Zeus's words had made her heart almost leap out of her chest; she almost blurted out, 'I'm willing to go with you,' a phrase that would have settled everything.
Considering her physical condition, she hesitated for a moment, then firmly spoke to Zeus.
"I just said 'if,' no need to be so serious."
Zeus smiled as she listened to Himeko's words, playfully answering her.
The atmosphere between them shifted from the previous solemnity to a more relaxed one, but Zeus clearly felt that Himeko wasn't speaking the truth.
"Seriously, don't joke like that; I'm going to get a bottle of wine."
Himeko helplessly glanced at a certain person who was laughing heartily; she felt she needed to drink some red wine to calm her nerves, otherwise, she probably wouldn't be able to settle down for a while.
After telling Zeus, Himeko stood up and walked towards her room.
"If I can cure your body, will you promise to come with me?"
As Himeko slowly walked towards her room, Zeus suddenly, out of the blue, uttered these words, causing Himeko to instantly freeze.
Even her favorite wine glass, which she held in her hand, dropped to the floor and shattered.
Hearing the sound, Mei walked out from the kitchen, tilted her head, and cutely asked Zeus and Himeko.
"No… nothing! I just accidentally slipped."
Himeko shot a glance at Zeus, who was calmly drinking tea, then awkwardly told Mei, and quickly found a broom to clean up the glass shards on the floor.
After Mei returned to the kitchen, Himeko nervously sat back on the sofa, no longer thinking about the red wine.
"You… what you said, is… is it true?"
She was extremely scared; Himeko was now afraid that the glimmer of hope appearing before her would instantly turn into despair.
She could no longer endure the torment of shattered hope.
Even if it was Zeus, she would be angry.
She didn't want anyone to joke about her life.
At this moment, her fingers trembled uncontrollably; this was a state of extreme excitement.
If Zeus stimulated her further, Himeko would probably faint immediately or lose control of her emotions and go berserk.
"Look into my eyes, and calm down."
Zeus, of course, knew this situation, so she extended a finger, guided Himeko's unfocused gaze to her own eyes, and used a suggestion to suppress Himeko's state.
"Calm now?"
"Yes."
"I'll find a time to tell you the method; please don't rush."
Zeus looked at the now calm Himeko, nodding with satisfaction.
Then, she waited for Mei's cooking.
As usual, six people ate, and in the last second before dinner, Theresa popped out, then began to freeload, also asking for hugs and head pats.
Normally, Himeko would have an expression of disgust, but because of what had just happened, she was not in the mood to complain about this overgrown loli.
"I'm full; I'm going back to rest."
After saying that, Himeko left the dinner table, which made Theresa very puzzled.
Normally, this person could rival Kiana, the big eater; what was wrong with her today? Was she sick?
"Teacher Himeko, are you alright!?"
Mei also looked worriedly at Himeko's room; with her delicate sensibilities, how could she not notice Himeko's abnormality?
"She's fine, don't worry! Maybe her period came, so she's not in a good mood."
Zeus, the culprit, fed Bronya without any guilt, then looked at Kiana, who was eating like a starving ghost, and said without blushing.
