The earth was already broken beyond recognition.
Craters stretched for miles.

The artificial moon shot into the sky, shining brightly.

A gigantic Great Ape stood where Vegeta once was.
Gohan, terrified, stared up.
The moonlight hit his eyes.

Another Great Ape roared into existence.

The battlefield shook violently.

Piccolo's voice echoed in his mind:

High above, the MC's eyes locked onto the glowing energy moon.
"So that's the source."
He vanished.
Reappeared above the orb.
One finger glowed with sharp ki.

The artificial moon split apart.
Light faded instantly.
Both Great Apes began shrinking.
Bones cracked again.
Fur disappeared.
Vegeta slammed into the ground in normal form.

The MC appeared beside him.

Silent.
His hand flashed like lightning.

His tail was severed cleanly.

Power drained.
Defeated.

He slowly crawled to his space pod.
Before entering, he turned his head toward the MC.

The pod blasted into space.
