Eclipse pranced forward, stopping short of reaching the white-silver bars that exuded the promise of a burn that would mar any wolf no matter their shifting level.
"You sound like you're unaware of my presence here," Eclipse croaked in a voice that held no emotion, "but that is a pretense because it appears to me you've always been aware."
Rooster looked nothing like the bride she was when she first came to the North.
Her clothes were torn, sweat mattering her hair to her skin. Pale blue eyes have long lost their shine under Malric NorthSteed's delicate torture.
The other woman shook her head pendantically, a crazed smile spilling through her lips.
"I knew the organization would send someone capable enough to take his life," she said in a frenzied voice that held excitement, "and seeing you now has just confirmed that."
Eclipse leaned down, staring through the bars straight at the other assassin.
"You're a Dam?" She observed.
