Chapter 37 - Chapter 37: Garp Forcefully Joins the Battle, Yet Unable to Change the Navy's Decline?

"Damn Rocks Pirates, they're truly monstrous."

"All four of their senior officers are formidable opponents."

On the warship, Garp cursed as he watched Sengoku and the other two being forced back under the oppressive aura of Shiki and Charlotte Linlin.

Their Navy side was at a severe disadvantage in this clash of Conqueror's Haki.

Only he and Sengoku possessed Conqueror's Haki, exactly half the number on the pirate side.

The two old guys in the rear weren't cut out for this either, and they were already so old.

Garp inexplicably felt an ominous premonition about today's battle.

Soon, he shook his head, dismissing these negative thoughts.

The urgent matter was that he needed to join the fight now, otherwise the pressure on Sengoku and the others would be too great.

Boom~

A powerful Conqueror's Haki strong enough to distort space erupted from his body, accompanied by countless red lightning bolts, shooting straight into the sky.

Boom~

With Garp's aura joining the fray, the Navy side instantly surged as if injected with stimulants.

The scales of victory, which had been firmly controlled by the pirates, immediately tilted toward the Navy.

The oppressive dark clouds in the sky churned violently before the dividing line rapidly pushed toward Shiki and his companion.

"Jihahaha, so you've joined too, Garp."

"Mamamama, all four elite members of the Navy's new generation appearing together is quite a rare sight."

"Shiki, don't you dare go soft, or I won't forgive you."

Charlotte Linlin, feeling the tremendous pressure from the opposite side, remained unfazed and instead grew more excited.

Her aura surged once more as she attempted to regain the advantage.

Unfortunately, it was to no avail.

Seeing this, Shiki didn't mind and instead roared toward the rear.

"Newgate, Brian, you two bastards still watching the show?"

"Hurry up and join in! Are you treating me and Linlin like workhorses, you shameless bastards?"

"Gurarara, Shiki, wasn't it good to let you show off a bit more?"

"Since you've gone soft, let me take over."

Boom~

Seeing that Shiki and Linlin were completely at a disadvantage and about to be defeated, Whitebeard could no longer hold back.

His domineering aura instantly shot skyward, directly joining the already chaotic clash of auras.

This unexpectedly formed confrontation of Conqueror's Haki welcomed another powerful disruptor.

With Whitebeard's addition, there were now a full five streams of Conqueror's Haki mixed within.

Even mixed with the powerful auras formed by Zephyr and Tsuru from their numerous campaigns.

After Whitebeard joined, the sky was no longer just filled with churning, oppressive dark clouds.

Visible cracks began to appear in the space beneath the cloud layer.

Crack~

Crack~

The space here couldn't withstand the oppressive auras of everyone present and began to fracture continuously.

The cracks multiplied, connecting sky and sea, gradually forming a massive tornado.

The clouds were swept into the tornado, while seawater from below continuously poured into it.

Soon, a peculiar cloud-water tornado formed, with clouds above and seawater below.

Connecting heaven and sea, growing increasingly stronger.

The sea below began to form a massive whirlpool, pushing the surrounding pirate ships and naval vessels outward.

What had started as a normal clash of Conqueror's Haki had escalated step by step to this point. The snowball had undoubtedly grown larger, and stopping it now was impossible. Only when the snowball exploded and a victor emerged would the next round begin.

"Wow~"

"Truly a sight unseen in a thousand years. Even as a transmigrator, I never imagined such a scene."

"This world just keeps getting more interesting. Fun, damn fun."

From the rear, Brian grew increasingly excited as he watched this spectacle. As a transmigrator, he wanted to say he'd seen every major scene imaginable—even the absurd scenario from the original work where the Five Elders joined forces against Luffy and two giants. Brian felt his mental resilience was sufficient; after all, everything would ultimately be constrained by the original framework, with no fundamental changes.

Yet, witnessing this, he could only say: You guys really know how to play!

Brian loved this direction that surpassed the original work. Coming to this world was about continuously adding buffs to it, not following the rules.

Returning to the Conqueror's Haki clash, the moment Whitebeard joined, the battle situation instantly reversed again. The Navy, which had held the advantage, was directly forced into a disadvantageous position, firmly suppressed by the pirate side.

The dark clouds in the sky, representing the scales of victory, tilted once more toward the pirates. The clouds, swirling with red lightning, grew increasingly intense, evolving toward an ink-black hue and transforming into ever more terrifying imagery.

The clash of auras lasted a full several minutes. The waves on the sea grew increasingly violent, and at the whirlpool below, wave after wave of tsunamis began to form. Initially small, these tsunamis were nourished by the powerful auras and pushed outward. Once they left this sea area, they rapidly expanded and began ravaging in all directions.

The first to bear the brunt were the uninhabited islands nearby. Two tsunamis, each over ten meters high, struck from left and right, drawing a final period for the small island. The tsunamis swept away all life on the island, dragging the entire landmass into the sea to become part of the ocean. From then on, this small island was erased from the map, its traces lost forever.

Bang~

Finally, as the confrontation intensified, someone could no longer endure it. Tsuru, drenched in sweat, suddenly had her aura severed, forced to stagger several steps backward. Standing in place, she appeared somewhat drained.

Such a top-level Conqueror's Haki confrontation was too strenuous for a young female Vice Admiral like Tsuru, who had only recently attained the rank. She possessed no Conqueror's Haki herself and was the weakest among the seven participants, so her elimination was inevitable.

But Tsuru's withdrawal was like the final straw that broke the camel's back. The Navy's already lagging aura contest completely collapsed.

Seizing this opportunity, the Conqueror's Haki aura formed by the three senior executives launched a fierce assault. The dark clouds in the sky instantly churned and swept down toward the Navy's side. The sea-spanning cloud tornado also swiftly advanced toward the naval fleet's location, soon arriving directly in front of the warships.

Bang~

Splash, splash~

In the blink of an eye, the foremost warship was overtaken by the tornado.

The massive warship was tossed about like a withered leaf, completely engulfed by the tornado as it swayed violently within the vortex.

Countless Navy soldiers were flung out, plunging into the swirling depths below and instantly losing their lives.

A significant portion of those who fell into the whirlpool were still unconscious when they met their end.

To die in unconsciousness might have been their final stroke of luck—at least they were spared the horror of facing their own demise.

Not long after the soldiers perished, the entire warship was utterly pulverized by the tornado, becoming one with the vortex before vanishing from the world.

As the first warship was destroyed, the second one teetered on the brink of collapse.

Boom—

Crash—

Sure enough, the second warship followed the fate of the first, disintegrating into dust.

The loss of two consecutive warships dealt a heavy blow to the Navy.

But the tornado did not halt for these victories; its focus shifted to the next two warships lined up further back.

Finally, the tornado was about to make contact with the two vessels.

At that moment, another sudden change occurred.
