Chapter 65 - Chapter 65: The Fall of Wizard Saint

Chapter 65: The Fall of Wizard Saint

The white pressure sphere detonated, and despite its small size, it contained catastrophic vibrations. The moment it connected, half of the Magic Giant's body exploded into fragments.

"Soul Extinguisher!" Jose conjured two massive spectral wraiths, each wielding scythe-like appendages as they surged toward Dino.

"Out of my way!" Dino's fist slammed into the air itself. The wraiths shrieked and dissipated into nothingness.

In the next instant, Dino closed the distance and launched a devastating kick toward Jose's head.

Whoosh!

Jose's form flickered and vanished, reappearing several meters behind Dino. His five fingers aimed at Dino's back as dark magical energy coalesced at each fingertip.

"Dark Barrage!"

Swish swish swish! Five beams of corrupted energy shot toward Dino. He weaved through them with quick reflexes, evading each attack.

"Dark Beam!" Multiple tracking beams of shadow magic erupted from Jose's body, pursuing Dino relentlessly.

Jose's maniacal laughter echoed across the battlefield. "Hahaha! You're a hundred years too early to defeat me, brat!"

Dino's eyes narrowed as he dodged. "Teleportation magic?" What concerned him most wasn't the fight itself—it was the possibility of Jose escaping. A scumbag like Jose fleeing would mean endless future problems. Someone this despicable wouldn't hesitate to strike from the shadows later.

"He dies here. Today."

Dino stopped moving and drove his fist into the approaching dark energy.

BOOM! The attack shattered on impact.

"Tch! Dark Spiral!" A twisting vortex of shadow magic spiraled toward Dino. He sidestepped it and crushed it with a single punch.

"Phantom Arrow!"

Dino clenched his fist and struck upward at the empty air. CRACK! Space itself fractured like broken glass, and the cascading cracks tore through Jose's magic, shattering every spell.

"That should do it!"

BANG! Dino's body blurred and materialized directly in front of Jose. Jose tried to activate his teleportation—but nothing happened. Then Dino's fist connected with his abdomen.

"GWAAAH!" Jose screamed as he was launched backward, smashing through a stone wall.

"That punch is for our guild! You destroyed the home we've built together over the years. Don't think you're getting off with just death!"

Jose gasped in disbelief. "Impossible! My teleportation—why won't it work?!"

"Teleportation requires stable spatial coordinates. I've already shattered the space around us. You're not going anywhere." As Dino spoke, he raised his fist again and hammered Jose across the left side of his face.

"Ugh—!"

BOOM! Jose flew through the air and crashed through another wall.

Dino grabbed Jose by the collar and hauled him up. "That punch was for Levy and the others. How could you attack such kind-hearted girls? What kind of monster are you?"

He drove his fist into the right side of Jose's face, sending him flying once more.

"Gaaahhh!"

"And that one's for every member of Fairy Tail!"

Jose Porla, Guild Master of Phantom Lord, struggled to his feet. "Damn you! Take my strongest magic—and follow your pathetic guild straight to hell!" He gathered every ounce of remaining magic power into his hands, forming a massive sphere of corrupted dark energy.

"Death Storm!"

Jose roared as a violet-black shockwave of annihilation magic erupted toward Dino.

Dino didn't dodge. He'd already taken his stance. The white pressure sphere around his fist grew denser, thicker—containing power beyond comprehension.

As the Death Storm closed in, Dino stepped forward slightly, drawing back his fist like an unsheathed blade.

"The only one going to hell… IS YOU!"

For an instant, space, time, and everything around Dino seemed to freeze.

Then—cracks began spreading from the point of his fist, spider-webbing across the fabric of reality itself.

The Death Storm Jose had unleashed suddenly reversed direction, rebounding along its original path and slamming into Jose head-on.

"GYAAAAAAHHH!" The dark magic engulfed Jose's body, followed by a vibrational force far more devastating than the spell itself.

Jose's robes disintegrated into ash. Blood erupted from his body as every bone fractured and warped. Under the combined assault of his own magic and Dino's overwhelming tremor power, it didn't matter what part of him was hit—his body was completely obliterated.

He was already dead.

BOOM BOOM BOOM!

The Grand Canal—a massive waterway connecting to the ocean—was suddenly severed.

A gap over ten meters wide appeared between upstream and downstream. The rushing water upstream tried to flow forward, but the middle section had become an impassable void.

Everyone stared in stunned silence at the catastrophic destruction Dino had unleashed.

"Oh my god! The canal's been split in half!"

Though not the true ocean, the canal stretched so far that you couldn't see the opposite shore. It felt as vast as the sea itself. Moments later, the upstream water cascaded down, forming massive tidal waves.

"M-Monster!"

"That guy's a complete monster!"

"How did we ever think we could fight someone like that?!"

"Is this… is this the true strength of Fairy Tail's strongest wizard?!"

"The Master… Master Jose, one of the Ten Wizard Saints… he's dead!"

The surviving Phantom Lord members were paralyzed with fear. Even Gajeel, who'd been itching for a rematch with Dino, abandoned that idea entirely. That guy was on a completely different level.

During the battle, Gray had pulled Juvia away from the danger zone. She hadn't understood at first, but now she realized—Gray had saved her life.

Getting caught between a clash of Wizard Saints and that monster? You wouldn't have enough lives to survive it. Yet Gray, despite being her enemy, had protected her anyway.

"We won!"

"We actually beat Phantom Lord!"

"We defeated them!"

"That's Dino for you! What a man!"

The Fairy Tail members erupted into cheers. The overwhelming pressure from the Magic Giant had been suffocating—but now, victory was theirs.

Erza smiled softly. "That guy's always so excessive when he fights."

Mirajane giggled. "But having someone like him in the guild is the most reassuring thing, isn't it?"
