The Beginning of the July Movement

The then Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, introduced a quota system in government jobs. However, the students and the general public did not accept this system. In protest against discrimination, students started a movement. This movement was led by six young students from the University of Dhaka.
