My heart instantly started pounding. Oh god, why is this human looking at me like a leopard? What is my situation now? I panicked internally.
"What did you say? Me, deaf?" he growled, pointing a finger at himself as he took menacing steps toward me, narrowing his eyes in anger.
Panic-stricken, I stepped back while keeping my eyes locked on his. God, why is my day like this today? Why did this ten-headed Ravana-like psycho cross my path early in the morning? As I thought this, my back hit the wall, bringing me to a sudden stop.
With barely an inch of space left between us, he placed both his hands on the wall on either side of me, glaring down at me like he wanted to murder me. My heart started racing wildly. Blinking my eyes rapidly, I put on my most innocent, clueless expression, hoping he might soften up.
"What? You were blabbering away non-stop just a second ago, and now you think you can make an innocent, clueless little girl face and I'll let you go? Never! You called me deaf? Just how much attitude do you have?" he said in a deep voice. He clenched his right fist and punched the wall hard right beside me.
With that, a big hole was smashed right into the wall where his fist hit.
God, this man isn't going to soften up even if I make an innocent face! Why is he so terrifying? Oh my god, if I had been in that wall's place, they'd be carrying me off on a funeral stretcher by now! What should I do? What is my situation?
Before I could finish panicking, he yelled loudly, "Hey, you! Why aren't you saying anything? Speak out!"
The shout was so loud it felt like blood was about to trickle from my ears. I instinctively covered my ears with my hands and stammered, "U-U-Um... y-y-you..."
"Complete the sentence!" he barked again.
What I actually wanted to ask was, "Why did you take my strawberry milkshake without my permission?" But instead, dropping my hands from my ears, I grabbed the edge of my chunni and twisted it nervously in fear. Keeping my head bowed down, I blurted it out quickly.
