Thalia's POV
The silence was deadening.
It was one of those questions that we all knew it was bound to be answered,but no one was daring enough to ask it.
If I hadn't asked it, I'm sure there would just be a bunch of assumptions and no one would address it directly.
However, since I had brought it up, I was almost certain that Kade was going to give a clear direction on what was going to happen.
However, he was unpredictable.
So, there was no telling if he was even going to do it.
"I don't think there's any need for...."
"Of course there's need to for an answer and explanation. You clearly don't want to be thrown back out into the life that you had, and I want to understand the dynamic that Alpha Kade wants to use." I cut Amy off.
To me, it was just a question to settle the formalities of what I had just been thrown into.
However, to Amy, that was the determinant factor for how her life was going to look like since I was in the picture.
