"You were right, Doctor Diamond. Charlie was the one who killed him…." Amara had just finished speaking with Mr. Charlie's personal driver and received the latest news about the man.
Apparently, the internal conflict between Bram and Mr. Charlie had reached its peak, until one of them chose a shortcut.
"But now we don't know where the body was dumped," Amara said.
"Their meeting took place around Blackthorn Wood. They wouldn't have disposed of the body too far from there," Kaisar speculated.
Amara fell silent. Even though she had placed her closest spy nearby, the man couldn't move freely.
Still, it was more than enough for the next step. They couldn't place another spy without raising suspicion.
After all, Mr. Charlie was an extremely cautious man.
