Sora's POV
Yeongjae arrived faster than I expected.
It hadn't even been that long, just a few minutes, maybe, but suddenly he was there, bursting through the hospital entrance like a storm that refused to be contained. His eyes were wild, scanning every corner of the waiting area, searching for Jiho… for Yuri.
And for a brief, foolish second, they landed on me.
Yejin came straight to my side, slightly out of breath. "He knocked on my apartment like he was going to break the door," she said, lowering her voice. "Begged me to drive him here. Said my motorbike was faster."
She glanced at him, then back at me. "What's going on?"
I swallowed, my throat suddenly dry.
"It's Yuri," I said. "She was at the shop, buying some things for her dog. Then out of nowhere… she had a panic attack."
Even saying it out loud didn't feel real.
"Jiho said it's been more than seven years since her last one," I continued. "But when we got here… she had a seizure."
