Sora's POV
Micah was the one who rolled the door up.
The metal screeched against the silence in the café as our unexpected guest stepped inside.
"Good evening, Doc!" Micah greeted brightly.
"Hey, kid. How're you doing?" Logan replied with that familiar, easy warmth that used to make me feel safe.
"Doc, I'm not a kid anymore. I'm graduating from senior high soon," Micah protested proudly.
Logan chuckled. "That's good to hear. Remind me to send you a graduation gift." Then his eyes scanned the room. "Where's Sora? I went upstairs. No one was answering."
Micah immediately pointed at me.
I raised my hand slightly. "Over here."
Logan smiled the moment our eyes met.
And for a split second, everything felt normal.
Until his gaze shifted.
Until he noticed who was sitting beside me.
Yeongjae didn't move.
Didn't greet him.
Didn't even blink.
He just leaned back lazily in his chair, one arm still resting behind mine, as if he owned me.
Like he had no intention of moving.
