Sora's POV
I stared at Yeongjae, my hands trembling so badly I was sure he could feel it.
He did.
Slowly, deliberately, he lifted both of my hands and pressed a kiss to each knuckle. My breath caught. My entire body reacted like he'd just struck a match inside me.
"So," he murmured, his gaze turning dark and dangerously soft at the same time, "I'll return your question. What are we supposed to do about this?"
The way he looked at me, like I was already his answer, made my knees weak.
"I… I don't know," I admitted honestly.
"You said two men confessed to you today." His thumb brushed lightly against my wrist. "Who are you going to choose?"
Choose.
The word felt heavier than it should.
I suddenly couldn't breathe.
I pulled away, escaping to the kitchen under the excuse of getting water. My cheeks were burning. My heart was racing. I didn't know if it was the alcohol or the way Yeongjae looked at me like I was the only woman in the world.
